UPDATE 1/02/14  :  HEY EVERYBODY, THANKS FOR LOOKING.  I JUST HAD THE CAR DETAILED TODAY FROM THE OUTSIDE
AND HAD IT CLAY POLISHED AND WAXED. CAR LOOKS GREAT ! THE BACK RIGHT SIDE HAD A SMALL SCRAPE AND I FOUND
SOMEONE OF REASONABLE QUALITY AND PRICE WHO SAID HE COULD FIX IT WELL... SO THE BACK RIGHT QUARTER
PANEL NOW HAS SOME TOUCH UP WORK DONE TO IT , LOOKS BETTER OVERALL THOUGH.

ALSO NOTICED THERE IS A TORN CV BOOT ON THE AXLE WITH A SLIGHT CLICKING NOISE ON OCCASION.
ITS GOING TO NEED A NEW AXLE. PARTS IS AROUND $80 FOR A DECENT QUALITY. IT'S A SMALL EXPENSE FOR WHAT THIS CAR IS OVERALL.

TOOK THE CAR OUT ON THE FREEWAY AND IT IS TIGHT. SUSPENSION IS VERY GOOD, NO NOISES WHEN YOU DRIVE, STRAIGHT AS AN ARROW, IT HAS A CLEAN SMOOTH SHIFT ( THE TRANSMISSION OIL IS PINK AS I CHECKED IT), NO STEERING PLAY, ENGINE DIPSTICK LOOKED REALLY
CLEAN , SO WHEN YOU REV IT HAS A CLEAN, EASY REV TO SOUND TO IT.

I HAVE FOR SALE SIGNS ON MY CAR AND I ANTICIPATE SOME GOOD RESPONSE...THIS CAR IS A SELLER, SO IF YOU'RE
LOOKING FOR SOMETHING REALLY RELIABLE , YET FUN , YOU MAY NOT WANT TO MISS THIS.

Toyota will steer clear of driverless cars

Thu, 04 Sep 2014

Toyota executives say the company's primary focus is on safety. At least for the time being, that means the company won't pursue development of a driverless car.
Speaking at the company's advanced safety seminar in Ypsilanti, MI, Thursday morning, Seigo Kuzumaki, Toyota's deputy chief safety technology officer, said that Toyota envisions a future driving environment that optimizes the best of both humans and computers, not choosing one over the other.
"Toyota's main objective is safety, so it will not be developing a driverless car." - Seigo Kuzumaki

2013 Toyota Camry Hybrid

Giving Vanilla A Good Name
"Vanilla." Taken in modern context, that's not a compliment, but it should be. Vanilla actually has exotic origins, and as spices go, only saffron is more costly. Despite the realities, calling something "vanilla" is not whistling in admiration. The Toyota Camry has been called "vanilla" countless times since its debut, but both the car and the bean have something up their sleeves.
Scoff all you want, but vanilla is the most popular ice cream flavor, and there is no mainstream sedan that outsells the Camry. Apparently, vanilla has an underlying tinge of filthy lucre. We didn't feel rich, exactly, wheeling around in the Camry Hybrid, but we came away impressed, nonetheless.

Scion testing updated FR-S

Thu, Sep 17 2015

It looks like Toyota is preparing a mid-cycle update for its critically acclaimed GT86, known here in the US as the Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ. As far as updates go, this one looks to be rather average. Hidden behind the camouflaged front and rear ends, we have new headlights and taillights, which according to our spies looked to be of the LED variety. We wouldn't be shocked to see the GT86 get LED taillights, although fitting the top-of-the-line headlights seems less likely. Supporting that position are the images we have of the actual headlights in action, which don't look quite bright enough to be full LED units. Instead, we'd expect some new form of running light, perhaps with bi-xenon low beams. Aside from the lamps, the front bumper gets a larger, more prominent lower intake, while the rear end sports a redefined bumper that houses larger dual exhaust tips. The size of the spoiler has been increased, too. According to our spies, we should also expect powertrain enhancements – which we can only hope means more power – as well as upgrades to the interior of the GT86. While it's possible that the updates being tested in Germany could be exclusive to the European market, that seems unlikely. We'd expect the same new enhancements to at least find their way to the Scion, if not its Subaru-badged twin. Check out the full battery of spy photos up top. Related Video:
