A very nice 1997 Toyota Celica GT Convertable. All maintenance for the last few years has been performed at a Toyota Dealer. Timing belt, water pump recently replaced. Tires at at 50% or better (good for a few years). Runs great, drives great, needs nothing to enjoy for the summer! Power top is in good to excellent condition and operates fine. The CD player recently stopped working but the radio works fine. Power windows, locks, tilt, cruise, ABS, AUTOMATIC. The Celica has alloy wheels, cruise, rear spoiler. The only reason I am selling the car is that I have purchased a motorcycle and drive it very rarely. This is a fun car that gets over 30 M.P.G. and is priced to sell. The car has not been smoked in while I have owned it. It does have a few minor flaws that I need to point out. The Celica has clear coat peeling from the left front fender and the paint on the hood and rear bumper is beginning to fade. The interior door panel on the drivers side has a small crack on the armrest. The CD player does not work but the radio works fine. 2018 Technology of the Year Award | We chat with Lexus about the LC 500h's hybrid system

From those vehicles, we select the ones we think provide the most innovative technology in the industry. Then we pare the list down to the very best, test them again, and vote on our winner for Technology of the Year. This year, Lexus's multi-stage hybrid system — as tested in the LC 500h — came out ahead of the rest of the finalists. We chose the 2018 Detroit Auto Show to hand over the award to Lexus Group Vice President and General Manager Jeff Bracken. He was kind enough to sit down with Autoblog Senior Editor Alex Kierstein and Green Editor John Snyder at the Lexus stand to talk about the hybrid system, what it does, and what it means for the future of Lexus and Toyota. Ford tumbles to second worst in Consumer Reports reliability survey, list dominated by Japanese [w/video]
Mon, 29 Oct 2012It's no secret that MyFord Touch has had its share of problems since being introduced, but the most recent reliability survey from Consumer Reports shows just how much this infotainment system has affected Ford. Just two years ago, the automaker was in the top 10 for the institute's reliability rankings, but since then, it has tumbled to the second-lowest rung just above dead-last Jaguar. In addition to MyFord Touch, CR also attributes a handful of new products that have had issues right out of the gate.
Compiled from 1.2 million subscriber surveys, this year's auto reliability survey heavily favors Japanese automakers, with eight of the 10 spots hailing from Japan. Toyota brands grabbed the top three spots (Scion, Toyota and Lexus - in that order) with Mazda, Subaru, Honda and Acura filling the next four spots. The only non-Asian automaker cracking the top 10 was Audi at number eight.
Audi climbed a total of 18 spots from last year, and Cadillac and GMC round out this year's top gainers breaking into the top 15. Helping Cadillac's upward movement, the CTS Coupe was named the most reliable domestic car. Lincoln, Volvo and Chrysler join Ford on this year's biggest loser list.
