A very nice 1997 Toyota Celica GT Convertable.

All maintenance for the last few years has been performed at a Toyota Dealer.

Timing belt, water pump recently replaced. Tires at at 50% or better (good for a few years).

Runs great, drives great, needs nothing to enjoy for the summer! Power top is in good to excellent condition and operates fine.

The CD player recently stopped working but the radio works fine. Power windows, locks, tilt, cruise, ABS, AUTOMATIC.

The Celica has alloy wheels, cruise, rear spoiler. The only reason I am selling the car is that I have purchased a motorcycle

and drive it very rarely. This is a fun car that gets over 30 M.P.G. and is priced to sell. The car has not been smoked in while I have owned it.

It does have a few minor flaws that I need to point out. The Celica has clear coat peeling from the left front fender and the paint on the hood and rear bumper is beginning to fade. The interior door panel on the drivers side has a small crack on the armrest. The CD player does not work but the radio works fine. NONE of these issues take away from the driving or enjoyment of this convertable.

I'm Autoblog senior editor Greg Migliore and this is your Autoblog Minute weekly recap. 2011 was the last time we saw Ford's midsize pickup in the US but according to a report from the Detroit News we could see production of the Ranger at the [00:00:30] Dearborn automaker's Michigan Assembly Plant as early as 2018. Ranger could compete with the Chevy Colorado and perhaps revive the compact and midsize pickup market for Ford, but the future of Ranger in the US depends a lot on Ford's ongoing negotiations with the UAW. About 2,000 orders for the 2015 Mustang were placed in the UK, tying up production of the pony car until July 2016. According to details in a press release from Ford UK, [00:01:00] it looks like Brits are a lot like their American cousins, opting for the 5.0 liter V8, with Race Red as the popular color of choice. Photos of the 2016 Toyota Prius leaked generating a lot of buzz over the styling. This fourth generation Prius will have some new competition as spy shots of a new Hyundai also surfaced this week. Which car companies are creating new jobs in America?

Since January, automakers have announced investments totaling $9.5 billion in U.S. plants, creating or retaining more than 12,000 jobs. Some of those companies have yet to announce just how many jobs will be created given their investments, with the location of many of those jobs still to be determined. Specifically, the 4,000-job Toyota-Mazda joint venture plant still hasn't announced its location, with numerous states jockeying for it. Hyundai has plans to invest $1 billion but has not announced a jobs number yet. And likewise Ford is investing $1.2 billion in Michigan without specifying a number of jobs. Volvo this week announced plans to add a second line to its factory under construction in South Carolina, spending another $500 million and adding 2,500 jobs to the 2,000 it was already trying to fill. Then Thursday, Daimler announced a $1 billion expansion to its facility in Tuscaloosa, Ala., to produce EV batteries and electric SUVs, a move that will add 600 jobs to its hiring this year.
