1986 Toyota Celica gts with only 102,500. This car is in mint condition for the year and would make a great collectible or daily driver. It has a manual transmission, leather seats, cruise, power windows and door locks...and it all works. Truely an awesome example of a celica. I bought the car about 6 months ago from the original owner (carfax will show 2 prior owners before me because the original owners daughter transferred it to her name) and I have all the paperwork for any maintenance or repairs ever performed on this car, plus all the actual dealership repair manuals and the owners manuals. I have put 5,000 miles on the car so I know there are no issues with this car...the A/C even works!! Tires have about 6,500 miles on them. If you want to know more give me a call. 912-585-7516 Anthony. Good Luck Bidding!!

Toyota tops Consumer Reports best, worst used car values
Tue, 18 Mar 2014We often mock Toyota for building boring, soulless cars, but a new study by Consumer Reports suggests that regardless of whether that's true, the company has some of the best used cars on the market. In its report on used cars from 2004-2013, the Japanese automaker had 11 vehicles among its brands on the list - more than any other automaker.
CR breaks the list down by cost and vehicle size, and Toyota has at least one entry at every price point and in nearly every segment. To score a recommendation, a vehicle had to perform well in the magazine's initial tests and score above-average reliability results. It also tried to only suggest cars with electronic stability control. Of the 28 recommended vehicles, Honda/Acura had the second most mentions at six, and Ford, Hyundai and Subaru managed two each.
The Detroit brands also made it to the list, but not in a positive way. Consumer Reports compiled a list of 22 vehicles it wouldn't recommend because "they have multiple years of much-worse-than-average overall reliability." General Motors had the most unrecommended models on the list at six, but Chrysler and Ford weren't far behind, with five cars each from their brands not making the grade. The full list of recommendations is available on CR's website.
Toyota fills in details about its future design direction and global platform
Fri, 25 Oct 2013
"In the future, out of 100 customers, we want to excite ten of them instead of not offending all 100."
Almost all of the details about the Toyota New Group Architecture (TNGA) strategy have come out since the initiative was first reported on in March of this year, but Autoblog did learn a few new things about it on a recent trip to Japan. Probably the second-most important detail is that each new segment platform will be based around a common hip point to create an "optimal driving position architecture."
