You are looking at a Japanese built 1982 Toyota Celica Supra.

Outside door handles need to be hooked up right.
Passenger door window is gone.
Car has been wrecked before and needs new taillights because of this.
Paint is not perfect by any means.
Needs two new tires on passenger side, I have already placed two on the drivers side. One is flat due to bead not seating right but will air up.
Headliner is coming down in rear but could be pinned back up.
There are a few stains inside the car but most could probably be removed.
Needs a new air filter.
Clutch pedal is all the way to the floor, but the clutch fluid is very low so that could be the problem(will try refilling fluid and add follow up in description).
Has original Celica Supra keychain and two keys.
Windshield is cracked. Dash is cracked.

Headlamps function properly but the inside control switch is a little loose, replace or use as it is.

This car runs very good but needs the fuel tank put back in place. Has new plug wires. New gas tank included but not installed. Old gas tank has already been removed. Comes with a few extra parts.

This car has no physical title, but I have what is needed to apply for a lost title.

The run down: Has no catalytic converter, passenger window is busted out, windshield is cracked, dash is cracked.

5 Speed Transmission
5M-GE 2.8L I6 DOHC engine
This car is solid;
What you see {in and on the car} is what you get.

Toyota ready to design more heart-racing Prius

Sat, Jan 25 2014

Long praised for its fuel economy and reliability, the Toyota Prius has been no stranger to less-than-flattering remarks about its styling and sense of excitement. In fact, the model is a regular movie punchline. For evidence, see Mark Wahlberg in The Other Guys or, more recently, Ice Cube in Ride Along. Apparently, Toyota President Akido Toyoda is getting the message and is pushing for what's been translated as a more "heart-racing" design for both the Prius and the Camry, the Canadian website Driving says. The Camry and Prius accounted for about a third of Toyota's US sales last year. With the Camry as the best-selling US model for each of the last dozen years, Toyota US head designer Kevin Hunter noted at the Detroit Auto Show last week that the Japanese automaker is looking for a "more emotional" design for the boxy sedan. The Prius redesign may have more constraints, as aerodynamics have to be factored in to ensure top-line fuel economy for the world's best-selling hybrid. Toyota used the Detroit show to show off the FT-1, a concept that many consider a preview of the new Supra. How this "Future Toyota 1" will affect the Prius and Camry redesigns, whenever they appear, remains in question but we like where things are headed.

Incoming Toyota chairman wants a Supra successor

Fri, 14 Jun 2013

We'd venture to guess that in recent years, there have probably been almost as many rumors swirling about a Toyota Supra successor than there have been for a mid-engine Corvette. (Case in point: the speculative renderings we came across a few years ago, pictured above.) While we don't expect the Corvette's recipe to change drastically any time soon, it looks like a Supra - or more appropriately a Supra-like car - could be closer than we think.
First, there was an announcement of a BMW-Toyota joint venture. Said venture would, among other things, "Set up a feasibility study to define a joint platform concept for a mid-size sports vehicle."
Upping chances even further, a new Automotive News report claims that incoming Toyota chairman Takeshi Uchiyamada wants a vehicle "comparable" to the Supra. Clearly there are a lot of parties that want a new Supra to happen - to say nothing of enthusiasts - but Uchiyamada might be just the guy to get it done. None of this is proof positive of an impending Supra, to be sure, but winds do seem favorable.

Has the auto industry hit peak hybrid?

Thu, 12 Jun 2014

Hybrids are known for their great fuel economy and low emissions, but it looks like given current market conditions, only about three percent of new car consumers are willing to pay the premium for them. A new study from IHS/Polk finds that the hybrid market share among overall US auto sales are falling, despite more models with the technology on sale than ever before.
The study examined new car registrations in March from 2009 through 2014. In that time, the auto industry grew from 24 to 47 hybrid models available to consumers, but market share for the powertrain remained almost stagnant in that time. As of 2009, hybrids held 2.4 percent of the market; it fell slightly to 2.3 percent in 2010 and grew to 3.3 percent in 2013. However, 2014 showed a drop back to 3 percent. Overall hybrid sales have been growing since 2010, but they just aren't keeping up with the total auto market.
According to IHS/Polk, this isn't what you would expect to see. Usually, each new model in the market brings along with it a boost in sales. The growth in hybrid models 2009 to 2014 should have shown a larger increase in share for the segment.
