I am the second owner of this vehicle. I love it, but I recently got a dog and I want to sell before anything happens to the leather and get something that I won't have to worry about. I also want to be able to tow a boat, so it's time to move on. The brake pads on all 4 wheels were replaced and the oil was changed both within the last 200 miles. This is a VERY clean car. A couple items that must be disclosed in the interest of good selling practices... -The front spoiler (the clip-on piece at the bottom of the bumper) is broken near the middle. A snow plow pushed snow up against my car while it was in a parking lot. Nothing more than a piece of broken plastic resulted, the surrounding paint and bumper are fine. I was able to track down this part on ebay primed and ready for paint for $100. -There are several very small scratches on the passenger side rear door just under the chrome trim piece. They are only as deep as the clearcoat and could be touched up fairly easily. -The driver side sun visor fell off while I was driving, I found out that there is a recall for this. I may or may not take care of this before the sale is final, depending on whether or not I have time. Each of the above issues are shown up-close in the photos. Nissan, Toyota offering payment deferments to people affected by government shutdown
Tue, 15 Oct 2013Two weeks into the budget-related government shutdown and it sounds like some progress is finally being made, but that doesn't really help furloughed government employees pay their bills. To help out a little, Nissan and Toyota are joining Hyundai with offering payment deferments to current owners and lessees.
In a release, a Nissan spokesperson said the company is "sympathetic to any of our customers who find themselves in difficult financial circumstances - many times outside of their control."
Both Japanese automakers are allowing payment extensions of up to 90 days without penalties or fees. Unlike the Hyundai Assurance Plan, though, it doesn't seem like the Nissan or Toyota assistance will be extended to those who are still in the buying process. Fri, 11 Apr 2014Toyota brought its new i-Road, a three-wheeled, all-electric low-speed vehicle that debuted in 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show, to the Capitol for some of our elected officials to test out. As easy as it is to forget that politicians are people, too, it was refreshing to see a human side to many of them as they zipped about one of the Capitol's many meeting rooms.
We'd say their reactions were surprisingly positive. Of course, some were just down there because Toyota is a big presence in their respective districts, but the bulk of the senators and representatives seemed like they just wanted to zip about the makeshift indoor course on the leaning trike.
