We are selling a silver color 2002 Toyota Camry XLE in excellent condition.
It is a V6 3.0 liter engine (192 hp) and is a fully loaded luxury trim. It has 8 way power seating for both front seats. Both front seats are heated (and works very well). All leather seats and leather trim, leather wrapped steering wheel etc. Power windows and power mirrors. Cruise control (works great). Dual illuminating vanity mirrors. JBL premium stereo system with 8 speakers. CD changer. Variable intermittent wipers. 4-wheel ABS. Power sliding moonroof.
Very well maintained. Only one owner before us who maintained it very well too. We have used sparingly. Bought in 2011 with 125000 miles. All maintenance has been taken care of in a timely manner - invoices available for parts replaced in last two years (battery, alternator, one front type replaced last week - full warranty still exists). MA Inspection done yesterday - good for the year.
We are selling only because we just bought a SUV to comfortably accommodate our expanding family! Would hate to sell this car otherwise. You will love driving this hassle free, dependable and comfortable car.
Only serious buyers please. You can call on 734 389 5911 or 734 239 5242 to schedule a test drive.

Why Lexus shies away from plug-in hybrids
Mon, Apr 20 2015Lexus may have softened its stance a bit from the anti plug-in vehicle ads the Toyota luxury badge ran last year, but at least one executive from the company casts a pretty critical eye towards the concept as a way to cut both emissions and refueling costs. In fact, Lexus doesn't really buy the fact that buyers of plug-in hybrids are really looking to save both gas and the environment, Green Car Reports says, citing an interview at the recent New York Auto Show with Lexus executive Mark Templin. Templin also said hydrogen fuel-cell technology may be a better way to edge towards zero emissions. Templin decried plug-in hybrid technology because it adds weight to vehicles, which contributes to poor emissions figures in the process. He added that plug-in vehicle buyers are motivated more by potential tax credits and solo driving rights in high-occupancy vehicle (HOV) lanes than cutting back on fuel use. Last summer, Lexus ran an supposedly tongue-in-cheek print ad poking fun at how long it takes to charge a plug-in vehicle and how using air conditioning can shorten a car's charging range. Last spring, Lexus had to backpedal from an anti-electric ad it ran that had serious mistakes about hydrogen infrastructure. News Source: Green Car Reports Green Lexus Toyota Hybrid PHEV

Will Toyota lose up to 70% of its workforce in TX relocation?
Mon, 17 Nov 2014Toyota's decision to move its US headquarters from its longtime home in Torrance, CA, to Plano, TX, was one of the biggest stories in the automotive industry this spring. With several months since the announcement, more details about the plan have leaked out. It seems that pulling up stakes could mean an even larger shakeup in the Toyota workforce than first thought.
According to Automotive News, Toyota intends to hang onto around 50 percent of its workforce in the move to the Lone Star State. However, even that figure might be optimistic. According to an unnamed insider speaking to AN, there is a fear the actual number could be closer to 30 percent. For comparison, Nissan retained about 42 percent of its workers in its move from California to Tennessee.
The actual percentage making the move is a mystery because Toyota is still rewriting its job descriptions under a single set of guidelines. The changes affect benefits, bonuses and the reporting structure, according to Automotive News, and employees' reactions could play a big role in who decides to go. According to an unnamed worker speaking to AN, the wait is hurting morale. Some people are even applying at the nearby Honda headquarters.
