HERE IS A 2001 TOYOTA CAMRY CE IN VERY GOOD OVERALL CONDITION BUT NOT RUNNING AT PRESENT. WHEN RETURNING HOME RECENTLY, AFTER PARKING THE CAR AND TURNING OFF THE ENGINE, THE COOLANT EMPTIED OUT ON THE DRIVEWAY. THERE WAS NO INDICATION OF ANY TROUBLE AT ALL, THE ENGINE ALWAYS SOUNDED AS GOOD AS IT DID THE DAY I BOUGHT IT. THE ENGINE HAS ALWAYS RUN WELL WITH NO SMOKING OR OTHER UNUSUAL NOISE. I HAVE SINCE BEEN TOLD BY A COUPLE OF MECHANICS THAT IT IS MOST LIKELY A BAD WATER PUMP. THIS IS A ONE OWNER CAR BOUGHT NEW IN 2001 IN BEL AIR, MD. IT HAS ALWAYS BEEN SERVICED AND CARED FOR IN A TIMELY MANNER. IT HAS NEVER BEEN DAMAGED IN AN ACCIDENT OR OTHERWISE ABUSED.THIS CAR IS SOLD FOR PICK UP ONLY.I HAVE THE TITLE HERE READY FOR TRANSFER, THANK YOU FOR LOOKING.

Then they revive a format called "This or That," discussing the Jeep Wrangler vs. Gladiator, Subaru Forester vs. Outback, Mustang vs. Camaro vs. Challenger, and whether they'd rather spend $25,000 on a new or vintage car. Toyota RAV4 EV lease gets cut in half to $299/month
Tue, 27 Aug 2013If you're in the market for a new electric vehicle, now is definitely the time to buy or lease. Following price drops on just about every other EV on the market, Toyota is looking to push a few more all-electric RAV4 crossovers out the door over the Labor Day weekend. The Detroit News is reporting that, through September 3, anyone looking to get into a RAV4 EV in Los Angeles or San Francisco, can get a deal: a $299 a month lease (no word on down payment, though) or zero-percent financing for 60 months for buyers.
The $49,800 RAV4 EV normally leases for twice as much - $599 a month - so this move could be an attempt to sell more of the 2,600 units Toyota has planned to produce. Or maybe, if you thought $599 was a fair price, you can now get two RAV4 Evs. Although temporary, the price drop comes at a time when many other EVs on the market have had their prices reduced, including the Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt, Smart Fortwo ED and Honda Fit EV, not to mention already low prices for the Fiat 500e and Chevy Spark EV.

2014 Toyota Corolla debuts with more power, interior space
Fri, 07 Jun 2013Depending on who you ask, the best-selling car in the world is either the Ford Focus or Toyota Corolla. Not surprisingly, Toyota claims it's the Corolla. Either way, we're talking around a million individual units per year, and over 40 million over the car's lifetime on the market, so the redesign of Toyota's compact sedan is big-time news for the Japanese automaker that it needs to get right.
The Toyota Corolla was last redesigned way back in 2008, meaning the 2014 model is a long-overdue update to the C-segment sedan. Its age shows when compared to newer rivals like the Honda Civic, Chevy Cruze, Hyundai Elantra and the aforementioned Ford Focus when comparing technology features, fuel mileage and interior roominess. In an effort to solve those demerits, Toyota has added nearly four inches to the 2014 Corolla's wheelbase and will offer a new continuously variable transmission with seven simulated gear ratios.
Engine choices consist of two available 1.8-liter four-cylinder units, one with 132 horsepower and 128 pound-feet of torque, and another more efficient version that uses Toyota's new Valvematic technology to offer 140 horses and 126 lb-ft of torque. Eco and Sport modes will be selectable by the driver.
