1999 Toyota Camry Xle Sedan 4-door 3.0l. Great Condition. Service Records on 2040-cars
Bishop, Georgia, United States
Up for sale is my 1999 Toyota Camry. This car has been garage kept and is in great condition. Great mileage for the year with just over 126k (under 9k a year). The majority of this car's service has been at a Georgia certified Toyota dealership. Stack of service records come with the car and a matching list of service is shown on car fax. There are no known mechanical or electrical issues. All works as it should. The leather is in great condition, much better than expected for a 1999 Camry. This car has dual power seats as well. The sunroof works great and can tilt and slide back. This car has a v6 with great power and combines with an average of 25-26 miles per gallon that I am getting around town.
This is my daily driver so the mileage will increase slightly. I work very close to home. I had a 24 point oil change on the day I listed. This car is in great shape cosmetically with normal wear and tear for the year. The driver side mirror works perfectly, but is a slight different color and must have been replaced before I owned the vehicle (hard to notice, see pics). You can remove the mirror and have it painted for $40. I have not had time to do it. If you pay for the car and can wait I can have it done for you. I am selling this car because I need a truck. I am not wanting to trade for a truck. I have the title in hand and so this car is ready to sell. **If you have 0 feedback you must call before placing a bid or I will cancel the bid. Thank you** This car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Feel free to text me with any questions at 70six-34zero-25four4 God bless |

Toyota recalling select 2014 Camry and Avalon models
Thu, 06 Nov 2014Toyota has announced a rather small voluntary recall, affecting 5,650 Avalon and Camry sedans from model year 2014. Both gas and hybrid models are included in the action.
This recall focuses on the left front lower suspension arm, which may have a bad bolt connecting it to the ball joint. If the car hits a big enough pothole - a real concern as we head into winter - or suffers a major impact, the two components could separate, at which point steering control would more or less vanish.
According to Toyota, there have been no crashes, injuries or deaths due to this problem. Toyota is notifying owners, who will need to report to dealers for a free replacement lower suspension arm.
Who sold the most small/midsize pickups in 2012? PickupTrucks.com investigates that, too
Wed, 27 Feb 2013PickupTrucks.com has taken another look at the sales of its favorite vehicle bodystyle as part of an ongoing series. According to registration data from R.L. Polk, the Toyota Tacoma easily took the crown as America's best-selling mid-sized pickup, with 133,477 units rolling into new homes in 2012. For comparison, the second-place Nissan Frontier only saw 50,566 registrations.
We feel compelled to point out that before Ford pulled the plug on its ancient Ranger, the company was moving some 75,000 units per year. That number had shriveled to 15,662 by 2012, which was still enough to surpass the Honda Ridgeline. Interestingly enough, one person brought home a brand-new Hummer H3T as well. But mid-sized trucks represent only a fraction of total pickup sales. Dealers sold a total of 241,471 midsizers last year compared to 988,326 half-tons.
That segment was dominated by General Motors with 533,814 sales followed by Ford at 478,204. Ram Trucks trailed behind in third with 241,204 units with Toyota close behind at 229,769. Nissan, meanwhile, remains a distant fifth. Head over to PickupTrucks.com for a closer look at the breakdown in each segment.
Toyota fears supplier pressure in Australia with GM pull out
Wed, 11 Dec 2013With Ford and General Motors both announcing an end to production in Australia, the country's auto industry is in a bad way. With the exit of two big players, there's increased concern that a third Australian manufacturer, Toyota, will be forced out, as well.
"We are saddened to learn of GM Holden's decision. This will place unprecedented pressure on the local supplier network and our ability to build cars in Australia," Toyota Australia said in a statement. The GM closure of Holden production will be the direct end to 2,900 jobs, but will also force a dramatic reduction in the size of the country's supplier network, as there will simply be fewer cars to build.
In the same statement, Toyota Australia said it would work with suppliers and local government to figure out whether continuing production Down Under was even feasible. According to Automotive News, a representative for the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union told reporters it was "highly likely" that Toyota would also close up shop within the next few years.
