1993 Toyota Camry XLE 3.0L V6 Sedan 4 Door

4 New Tires
New Battery
Body in Great Condition

Clean Carfax with no accidents.

This car is being sold as is with no warranty implied.  The vehicle is in Princeton WV and could be shipped if so desired.  I purchased this vehicle with the intent of using it as a commuter vehicle for my daughter to go to college.  The vehicle is in need of some repairs and an individual with some mechanical knowledge would be able to get this in great running condition.  The price is adjusted accordingly.

The Kelley Blue book on this vehicle in excellent condition is roughly $3,300.  As far as the interior is concerned, it is in great condition.  There is room to make this vehicle a sound investment if you have the mechanical knowledge.  Price is adjusted accordingly to sell ASAP!!

Any questions just ask!

I have had this vehicle fully checked out by my mechanic. He tells me that the car has a blown head gasket. Once again I am fully disclosing the condition of the motor. I have checked around and a new motor costs around $450. I don't have the time to do the repair and if you have the mechanical knowledge you could rebuild the engine since it just has 80,000 miles on it.  Therefore, price is adjusted accordingly to sell immediately.  Keep in mind what the Blue Book value is.  My mechanic informed me that the new tires alone are worth $600.

Toyota plans biggest stock buyback in over a decade

Tue, 01 Apr 2014

At the end of December, 2013 Toyota had a cash stockpile of 1.8 trillion yen ($17.5B US). As of March 31, at the end of its current financial year, company coffers are expected to swallow another 1.9 trillion yen ($18.4B US) in net profit - said to be a record sum for the Japanese automaker. In a gesture signaling a turnaround from the horrors of the global recession, Bloomberg reports that Toyota will buy back 60 million shares of its stock, as much as 1.89 percent of the company, for something like 360 billion yen ($3.5B US). It's the first buyback since 2009 and the largest buyback since 2003, when it spent roughly 390 billion yen ($3.8B US) repurchasing shares.
Company president Akio Toyoda founded the Toyota Mobility Foundation (TMF), a non-profit that will support international groups working on transportation issues in emerging markets. Half of the stock that Toyota buys, 30 million shares, will be sold to the foundation via the Japanese Trustee Services Bank for one yen per share, the dividend providing the foundation's initial funding. The other 30 million shares will be canceled, a company spokesman telling Reuters that the company wants to reward shareholders.
Industry analysts have been asking Toyota to either return money to shareholders or invest in new factories, but Toyota has ruled out the latter. After getting burned with excess capacity when the financial crisis came, the company is focused on extracting efficiencies from the plants it already has. Toyota has said it plans to complete the buyback by June of this year.

Toyota Camry Dragster takes the phrase 'sleeper' to its logical extreme [w/video]

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

Sometimes, looks can be deceiving. This is certainly one of those times, as Toyota successfully trolled the entirety of the media corps at the 2014 SEMA Show by rolling an innocent-looking Camry onto the floor... only to lift literally the entirety of its body to reveal an 850-horsepower, tube-framed dragster. Well, we have been asking for a more driver-oriented Toyota.
While it's designed to go fast in a straight line, the origin of the Camry Dragster's parts might be surprising. The 5.7-liter V8 engine, transmission, rear axle and electronics were plucked from the Toyota Tundra pickup. Toyota Racing Development donated a supercharger, while a wet-nitrous-injection system was also tacked on for that little extra something. Those goodies will help propel this anonymous looking monster through the quarter mile in just 9.8 seconds.
"This is the most extreme build we've ever unveiled at SEMA," said Toyota's motorsports chief Steve Appelbaum said in a statement. "The transformation from seemingly stock Camry to full-blown racecar just shocks the senses. Chuck Wade and the team at Motorsports Technical Center did a truly spectacular job executing the vision of this project."

Watch Congress sample Toyota's i-Road 3-wheeler concept

Fri, 11 Apr 2014

Toyota brought its new i-Road, a three-wheeled, all-electric low-speed vehicle that debuted in 2013 at the Geneva Motor Show, to the Capitol for some of our elected officials to test out. As easy as it is to forget that politicians are people, too, it was refreshing to see a human side to many of them as they zipped about one of the Capitol's many meeting rooms.
We'd say their reactions were surprisingly positive. Of course, some were just down there because Toyota is a big presence in their respective districts, but the bulk of the senators and representatives seemed like they just wanted to zip about the makeshift indoor course on the leaning trike.
Take a look below at the video from Bloomberg.
