2006 Toyota Avalon XL 130,400 Miles This is a great running and great looking car. 130k miles for a Toyota is nothing. It has a 3.5 liter V6 engine that gives great gas mileage. It has factory alloy rims and a very spacious trunk. This car has a CLEAN / CLEAR title. The car was stolen and then recovered after the insurance Company paid it off. Then it was sold by an automobile auction agency. The car drives, runs, sounds, handles and performs beautifully. I am a truck guy, if not I would probably keep it for myself. That's how nice this car is. PAYMENT A $300 Non-refundable Deposit from the winning bidder. The rest is to be paid in cash. Oh Buoy! Toyota sinks to Spongebob depths with custom Highlander
Mon, 15 Jul 2013The launch of the 2014 Toyota Highlander is being assisted by Bikini Bottom's number one resident, SpongeBob SquarePants. The new crossover has been wrapped with SpongeBob's square mug all over it as if he's saying "I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready," from every direction. Inside is a cabin that Toyota says "captures all of the beloved character's high-octane energy," but might make you question whether this is really the world you want to live in.
Revealed on SpongeBob Day at the San Diego Padres vs. San Francisco Giants baseball game in San Diego, CA on July 13, the Highlander will go from there to seven locations nationwide on a "Happy Driving Tour," ending at the LA Auto Show in November.

Toyota and Lexus recalling 235,000 hybrid CUVs and sedans over separate issues
Wed, 04 Sep 2013When it rains, it pours. Toyota has announced a pair of separate but voluntary North America recalls covering approximately 235,000 vehicles built between 2006 and 2011. The larger of the two recalls targets Toyota's hybridized crossovers, the Lexus RX400h and Toyota Highlander Hybrid. 133,000 units, including 2006-2010 Highlander and 2006-2008 RX crossovers are covered in the campaign. The other recall affects 102,000 IS350 sedans, IS350C convertibles and GS350 sedans built between 2006 and 2011.
With the CUVs, the faults in the parallel circuits of the transistors can cause heat damage in the inverter assembly, triggering an abundance of warning lamps and sending the vehicle into limp mode. The Lexus sedans are being recalled due to loose bolts on the variable valve timing controller. Detected by unusual underhood sounds on startup, the issue can cause the engine to stop while driving. The inverter issue is also triggering similar recalls in Japan and Europe.
At the moment, it's unclear if any of these issues have caused any crashes or injuries. Toyota says it plans to notify owners of the recall via snail mail.
