2010 Toyota 4runner Limited Sport Utility 4-door 4.0l on 2040-cars
Miami, Florida, United States
You are bidding on a 2010 Toyota 4Runner Limited 4WD in blizzard pearl. I am selling this vehicle for a family member (cousin), thus I will do my best to provide you with the most accurate description of the vehicle. This vehicle was purchased in September/October 2010 from a small dealer in Miami. The dealer explained that the vehicle had sustained wind damage in a storm in Arkansas, only to the driver's side of the vehicle. The damage was only cosmetic and it was repaired. I realize that the term wind damage is very ambiguous, but it is all we were told. I reiterate and stress that the vehicle suffered no structural damage only cosmetic. My cousin is the second owner of the vehicle as of 2010.
Would you like the good news or the bad news?
I will commence with the bad news. Due to the damage the vehicle was issued a Florida Salvage Title when it was registered in Florida. The vehicle was repaired however throughout the driver's side of the vehicle there are three or four yellow spots. The yellow spots appear to be a result of a substandard paint job. The vehicle is also missing the radio and antenna and base, the driver's floormat, and a black plastic piece of the cowl. Refer to the pictures. Finally, the black plastic cover on the side mirror is cracked and at the moment is held together with a small piece of duct tape.
I will continue with the good news. Aside of the mentioned defects this SUV is simply a beautiful, honest, clean and reliable example of an SUV. This SUV is mechanically in excellent shape. It has 34,398 original miles only as my cousin habitually travels and the car spends a lot of time in a parking garage. It is a Limited model, therefore, it comes equipped with many extra features. The two tone interior (tan leather seats and black trim, carpet and floormats)is in very good shape exhibiting normal signs of wear. It came equipped with a 6 CD changer, auxiliary audio jack, USB port, a UBL sound system which includes 15 speakers, back up camera and a sunroof/moonroof. A set of WeatherTech like floormats which are malleable and yet rigid enough were added to the vehicle, these plastic floormats absolutely protect the vehicle's carpet and plastic trim along the door sills.
The exterior, aside of the aforementioned defects, is in great shape also. The blizzard pearl white paint job is nice and shiny, and it comes equipped with a tow hitch (the ball and extension visible in the pictures is not included), 4x4, 20" alloy rims, 245-60/20 Yokohama tires with about 55% tread, foglights and a smart key. The headlight bulbs were upgraded to 6000 K HIDs. The SUV runs and drives perfectly without issue. This is truly a beautiful SUV, so bid with confidence.

Toyota recalling 800k Camry, Avalon and Venza models for AC issue
Thu, 17 Oct 2013Toyota has announced plans to voluntarily recall 803,000 vehicles from model years 2012 and 2013, over concerns with the air conditioning condenser housing. The recall covers the Camry, Camry Hybrid, Avalon, Avalon Hybrid and Venza, although the exact split between affected models wasn't available.
According to Toyota, the condenser can leak onto an airbag control module, which in turn could cause a short circuit. In most cases, this will just lead to an airbag warning light, but in rarer instances, the airbags could fail to deploy or pop out of their own accord. There's also a concern over a loss of power steering if the airbag control module develops a short.
It's unclear if there have been any injuries or crashes relating to the defects. Toyota will begin informing owners of affected vehicles via first class mail, and will ask them to report to dealerships for recall work, involving the installation of a cover on the condenser housing.
Weekly Recap: Ferrari, Ford and Porsche power up for Geneva
Sat, Feb 7 2015Monday was Groundhog Day. Tuesday, apparently, was Sports Car Day. The Ferrari 488 GTB, the Ford Focus RS and the Porsche Cayman GT4 all debuted within hours of each other ahead of their rollouts at the Geneva Motor Show. Three sporty machines, three vastly different approaches – and a lot of implications for enthusiasts. That's a day worth repeating. It also illustrates the opportunities automakers see in the performance market, which is expected to grow in the coming years. Ford estimates the segment has expanded 14 percent in Europe and surged 70 percent in North America since 2009. The Detroit Auto Show was evidence of this, and performance cars of every stripe debuted, including the Acura NSX, Ford GT, Alfa Romeo 4C Spider and several others. This isn't a fad. Performance cars aren't going away. The question is why? Stricter CAFE standards are looming in the United States, as are tighter emissions regulations in Europe. And no one expects gas prices to remain low in America. None of this matters for sports cars, and automakers are increasingly using them to elevate their images. That's why Dodge rolled out two 707-horsepower Hellcats last year. It's why Ford has decided to resurrect the GT for road and track. It's why in the depths of bankruptcy, General Motors continued work on the Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, not to mention the Z06. "Great brands are made one car at a time," Ford of Europe president Jim Farley said at the reveal of the Focus RS. Still, companies make those cars for different reasons. View 5 Photos Mainstream brands like Ford and Dodge want to build cars that get people talking, excite their bases and drive more potential customers into the showroom. They probably don't buy a Focus RS or a Hellcat, but suddenly the regular Focus hatch looks a bit hotter, and that V6 Charger seems to be just a touch more muscular. The halo of performance is alive and well in the eyes of automakers and their customers. "It's one of the most effective catalysts for ingenuity and innovation," said Joe Bakaj, vice president of product development for Ford of Europe. That also leads to a trickle-down effect. Some of the technologies inevitably make their way to other products. It's hard to think the new all-wheel-drive system in the Focus RS that distributes torque front to rear and side to side won't be used in other vehicles. It's different for Ferrari and Porsche.
