Offered here is this beautiful 2008 Toyota 4Runner Urban Runner Sport Pkg 4x4 V6 SUV, one owner, with 68,000 original miles in good condition inside and out. Gold package, bug and window reflectors which gives it a really nice sleek look. There was one fender bender in which the rear bumper was replaced. Classic Pearl in color with charcoal grey and light grey leather/suede seating and interior. The body is very straight and extremely clean. The paint has a gorgeous shine and shows little sign of wear. There are no dents or door dings to report. All exterior trim is in beautiful condition. All exterior lenses are in free from fade and wear. The factory ultrafinish aluminum alloys are super clean and new all season radials showing 95% treadlife remaining. The windows are factory tinted. It has a factory roof rack installed along with a factory towing package and stepbars. The interior is in good condition throughout. The front driver seat has some damage and the passenger side back seat has some damage. The carpets are in good condition throughout. All door panels are in excellent condition. The headliner is spot and stain free. The cargo compartment looks like it was used very little and comes with the double decker cargo tray. Powered by a perfect running 4.0L DOHC 24-valve VVT-i V6 engine, paired to a smooth shifting 5-speed automatic overdrive transmission along with fully functional four wheel drive and a center differential lock. Toyota's $1.6B unintended acceleration settlement approved
Sat, 20 Jul 2013Toyota is now one step closer to putting its unintended acceleration woes behind it as it has received approval from the US District Court for the Central District of California to settle loss-of-value claims to vehicles associated with the 2009-2010 recalls.
As we reported back in May, the Toyota settlement is worth $1.63 billion, which, according to Bloomberg, includes a payout of $757 million to affected owners, $227 million to attorneys and an additional $875 million for vehicle upgrades. (We did the math, too, and that totals $1.859 billion, but there is no justification for the discrepancy. Fuzzy math, eh?)
Based on the estimated 22.6 million vehicles said to be included in this suit, that would make the average payment about $33.49 per vehicle, but the article says that owners, lessees and even renters will receive varying amounts ranging from $9.74 up to as much as $10,000. This settlement does not affect suits filed for personal injury or wrongful death.

Toyota Camry Hybrid SE adds a dash of limited-edition sport
Tue, 04 Feb 2014For drivers who want to benefit from the increased efficiency of a hybrid sedan but who don't want to look like they'd rather be hugging trees, Toyota has just announced its 2014.5 Camry Hybrid SE Limited Edition.
The SE LTD combines the exterior bits and pieces that make the SE look sportier than other Camry models with the 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine, electric motor and nickel metal hydride battery pack of the Camry Hybrid. That means the Hybrid SE offers up 200 combined system horsepower to the front wheels, and we'd expect it to be rated at the same 40 miles per gallon city and 38 highway of the Camry XLE Hybrid.
Only 5,000 units will be produced between February and June of 2014, with an asking price of $27,845, which is about $700 more expensive than the base Camry Hybrid LE or $2,620 less than the Hybrid XLE that Toyota says shares a similar level of equipment.
