Hello
There, Here is
for sale my work / travel vehicle, I have a clear Texas title in hand 2006
4runner SR5, 133K HWY MI Tinted windows, stability control,
abs, air bags every option for SR5 4x2, with a Tow Hitch I’m the
second owner! The vehicle had 24K miles when I bought it in South Florida in
2008. I was a
sales manager and my territory stretched between Florida and Texas! I
traveled a lot between the states visiting the stores. Since
day one I used Mobil 1 full synthetic oil, I did the brakes for the first time
at 100K miles (means it wasn’t driven hard in the city traffic), I changed spark
plugs every 30K miles, the tires are Michelin and have about 40% life left on
them, I waxed the car every 6-8 months, the car has freezing A/C, Great Brakes
and Tires, every oil change I would rotate and balance my tires! Car is
absolutely in perfect working condition. Perfect alignment, gears shift
very smooth, it’s quiet, reliable… ANYTHING you would expect from
TOYOTA manufactured in JAPAN!!!! This is my second 4runner; the first one
saw 200K miles on it before I sold it. My third one will be a loaded all
wheel drive… that will cost me $42K, this car new costs nearly $30K… for a
fraction of the original you may have mine…. HISTORY: When the Vehicle had 35K miles on it, a car
bumped into mine in the rear… it was a honda civic, it happened in a parking
lot when I stopped, Honda civic went underneath my rear bumper, IT DID NOT
CAUSE any damage to MY vehicle but it was reported to the Police and the
insurance company. They offered to
repaint my bumper, it wasn’t needed, nothing had to be fixed, as you can tell
from the photos… Again, Gently
used, babied, as you can tell by the paint and photos… http://s977.photobucket.com/user/konradmolski/library/ I
have 100% positive feedback, I’ve sold and bought boats and cars here… you may
trust my 10 years of a positive feedback. Any
questions or concerns please call before BIDDING!!! Konrad

Toyota FT-1 Concept presents a future we want to live in [w/videos]
Mon, 13 Jan 2014Toyota has brought its A game to the 2014 Detroit Auto Show, showing off the striking FT-1 Concept. Short for "Future Toyota," the FT-1 is, we're imagining, the supposed Supra Concept we reported on early in December.
Penned by the Calty Design Research team, the FT-1 draws inspirations from the FT-HS and the Lexus LF-LC concepts from 2007 and 2012, respectively. We certainly see a bit of Lexus LF-A in the design, while there's more than a hint of Formula One in the FT-1's pointed nose.
"Our team was heavily influenced by Toyota's sports car past, especially Celica and Supra, and we sought to capture some of that history. It is an aggressive, track-focused sports car concept with a presence that has been amplified for shock and awe," said Alex Shen, Calty's Studio Chief Designer.
Toyota fears supplier pressure in Australia with GM pull out
Wed, 11 Dec 2013With Ford and General Motors both announcing an end to production in Australia, the country's auto industry is in a bad way. With the exit of two big players, there's increased concern that a third Australian manufacturer, Toyota, will be forced out, as well.
"We are saddened to learn of GM Holden's decision. This will place unprecedented pressure on the local supplier network and our ability to build cars in Australia," Toyota Australia said in a statement. The GM closure of Holden production will be the direct end to 2,900 jobs, but will also force a dramatic reduction in the size of the country's supplier network, as there will simply be fewer cars to build.
In the same statement, Toyota Australia said it would work with suppliers and local government to figure out whether continuing production Down Under was even feasible. According to Automotive News, a representative for the Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union told reporters it was "highly likely" that Toyota would also close up shop within the next few years.
Toyota turning landfill gas into hybrid vehicles, indirectly
Fri, Mar 28 2014Chamillionaire certainly wasn't referring to the Toyota Avalon or Camry when he rapped about "ridin' dirty" but maybe he'll change his tune soon. That's because some of the future energy sources for the Kentucky factory that makes those two models will come from gas created from the breakdown of solid waste. So the power behind some of the production at Toyota's largest North American factory will indeed be funky. Toyota is working with Waste Services of the Bluegrass to build a network of wells at a nearby landfill in order to collect the gases. Construction of the system starts next month and will be finished by early next year. The upshot is that the system will produce one megawatt of electricity per hour, which is the equivalent to the power used by 800 houses. Last spring, Toyota said it would start producing the Lexus ES at the Kentucky plant after getting almost a $150 million offer from the state. That's because that model is expected to add 50,000 vehicles to the existing production numbers at the plant. And those production numbers are already large, as Toyota makes both the standard and hybrid versions of both the Camry and Avalon there. Mind you, Toyota's not the first to go this route for factory-energy production. In 2011, General Motors' Orion Assembly Plant started getting about 40 percent of its energy for production of models such as the Chevy Sonic and Buick Verano from methane captured from a landfill nearby. The General estimated at the time that the process would cut the company's energy costs by about $1.1 million a year. Check out Toyota's press release about the Kentucky plant and its future landfill gas below. Landfill Gas to Build Cars and a Greener Community Partnership between Toyota and local landfill turns garbage into good March 24, 2014 GEORGETOWN, Ky. (MARCH, 24 2014) – Can a car company be a vehicle for change? Toyota thinks so. The Kentucky plant that manufactures some of the greenest cars on the road, including two hybrid models, will soon be powered in part by green electricity. Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Kentucky, Inc. has teamed up with Waste Services of the Bluegrass to generate power from local landfill waste, marking the region's first business to business landfill gas to energy initiative. Toyota estimates the locally-generated landfill gas will supply enough power each year for the production of 10,000 vehicles. How it Works As solid waste naturally breaks down in a landfill, it creates gas.
