2004 Toyota 4runner Suv Sport Edition 4wd V8 Automatic With Towing Package on 2040-cars
Genoa, Ohio, United States
2004 Toyota 4Runner Sport Edition V8 Automatic 4WD Sunroof/Moonroof Towing Package w 7 pin round wiring harness, 2 in Reese Hitch Up for Auction is our Toyota 4Runner that we bought in 2005 as 2nd owner. We had a Rav prior to buying the 4runner. Because of the kids getting bigger and having friends with them, we bought a Sequoia last fall for the 3rd seat. The 4runner was maintained with oil changes every 3,000 miles. It burns no oil and runs perfectly. I loved the V8 so much that I have the same engine in the Sequoia. It has amazing power and can pull a boat with no problems. It has had the brakes done recently. It has Michelin tires that will need to be changed in 5-10,000 miles. The tires are the only weakness on this vehicle. It is absolutely beautiful without any blemishes which is why its has taken so long for me to list it. I love this vehicle and you will too. You are welcome to take a test drive. Any Questions, please call or text me at 419-260-2356 Ken
Terms: Sold as is, where is. $500 non refundable deposit due via Paypal within 48 hours. Payment in Full with cash or bank check and Pick up within 10 days of end of auction. If not paid in full within 10 days, I will re-list vehicle.

Ever wonder how to really pronounce Japanese automaker names?
Thu, 25 Sep 2014People tend to get very set in their ways when it comes to the pronunciation of words. Just look at the endless debates over whether or not to say the final 'e' in Porsche (which you should in terms of correct German enunciation). Or the argument about whether to follow the British convention and give the 'u' in Jaguar a special delivery or to say the 'ua' diphthong as more of a 'w' sound, as usually happens in the US.
This short video doesn't answer either of those automotive questions, but it does allow a native Japanese speaker to demonstrate the accepted pronunciations for several, major automakers from the country. One benefit is that it clears up the occasional debate over whether Nissan should be said with a long or short 'i' sound. Also, listen closely to how the female host says Mazda as Matsuda, the way it's actually said in the language. Even if this doesn't change the way you enunciate these brands, at least now you know the accurate way in Japanese.
Toyota highlights JDM Mark X with special Yellow Label edition
Fri, 05 Sep 2014Never heard of the Toyota Mark X? That's because the Japanese automaker only sells it in its home market (and in China as the Reiz). It's a rear-drive (or all-wheel-drive) sports sedan about the size of a Lexus IS, whose existence is probably why Toyota will never bring the Mark X to North America. The current model has been on the market since 2009, but Toyota is rolling out a series of updates - including the new Yellow Label model pictured here.
Available on the 250G, 250G Four and 250G S trim levels, the Yellow Label gets a special shade of Awaken Yellow paint (though it can be had in black, white or silver as well), with an interior decked out in either yellow or black. It also gets piano lacquer trim, yellow stitching, pink gold accents, special tread plates and other interior equipment upgrades, as well as a unique set of alloys. All of which makes the Toyota Mark X Yellow Label perfect for recreating scenes from Kill Bill without the need to squeeze into yellow leathers. (In fact we wouldn't be surprised to see Toyota doing just that for a promo clip.)
Power comes from a 2.5-liter V6 (and not the larger 3.5 available on the 350S model) channeled through a six-speed automatic to either the rear wheels or all four. Pricing ranges between 2.8 and 3.1 million yen (~$26-30k), representing a premium of about 106k yen ($1k) over non-yellow models. Toyota operates four distinct dealer networks in Japan, and the Mark X is sold through Toyopet stores.
Toyota GT86, Scion FR-S sales disappointing worldwide?
Fri, 21 Feb 2014Okay, folks - it appears we've got a problem. The Toyota GT86, Europe's counterpart to our own beloved Subaru BRZ and Scion FR-S coupes, is apparently not selling too well. This, according to Toyota's European Vice President of Research and Development, Gerald Killman, is what's limiting plans for additional variants of the rear-drive coupe.
"A faster version of that car would be at the top of most people's wish lists, but like the cabriolet, it is hard to justify a business case to push either model into production based on the current sales," Killman told AutoExpress. "Personally, I think that engine could use a little bit more," he added.
More troubling is that slow sales aren't limited to the Euro-spec car, with Killman claiming that the GT86 have been missing sales targets in major markets around the globe. It may not be that the US is one of those major markets, though. Scion's Vice President, Doug Murtha, tells Autoblog that his brand is happy with the sales of its version of the GT86, the FR-S. 18,000 units were sold last year, which Murtha says is "generally in line with original expectations for the car."
