For sale is my 2003 Galactic Gray Toyota 4Runner 4wd V6 Limited. I have the title in hand and it is clean. It has never been in any accidents, hasn't been flooded, or anything of that nature.
It currently has approximately 58,400 miles on it. I am the original owner of the SUV.
It has the following options and features:
4.0 liter V6 with automatic
Shift on the fly 4wd drive system that can be turned off to run in 2wd to save gas.
Factory leather seats, with power and heat in the front
Automatic climate control
Standard ABS
Skid control
Down hill assist
Moonroof
6 disc in dash JBL sound system
Lighted step bar
Roof rack
Mud guards
17" alloy wheels
Rear spoiler
Factory floor mats and cargo area mat
Cargo area retractable cover
K&N air filter
New Battery
Recently the AM/FM radio stopped working but the CD/MP3 player and tape player work perfectly.
Basically this car has every factory option other than navigation. The car has seen very little use, in the past year it has only been used once a week for 15 minutes to keep everything lubricated. The car has never been used for towing. I am selling it because I have 3 other cars and a truck and just don't use it.
I know it is an older vehicle but with the exception of one trip to PA, it has only been driven in CT and is rock solid. Please don't email offers of $10K or $11k, I am not desperate to sell it and would rather keep it than sell it at those prices. One last thing, predictions are that the Northeast will have a very snowy winter and this thing is a beast in the snow.
Please email me with questions and picture requests and I will get back to you promptly.
I also have the vehicle listed elsewhere and reserve the right to cancel the listing at anytime.

Edmunds ranks the best used cars for 2013
Sun, 15 Sep 2013When people ask us what car we would recommend for them, it's usually not easy to answer. To make a useful recommendation we must consider which of the numerous vehicle segments fits their needs best, and then choose one of the many vehicles offered in each segment. For some people, new cars don't meet their expectations of value, because they lose so much of it the moment they are purchased and driven off the dealer lot. For them, there's always the used-car market, where great deals can be found, but cars' histories of reliability and maintenance records - and perhaps that Certified Pre-Owned warranty - become ever-important factors playing into purchase choice.
To help out, Edmunds has done us the favor of assembling a list of the best used vehicles money can buy, covering model years 2006-2011, according to what it considers the most important criteria when shopping for used autos: reliability, safety, value and availability. That means unreliable, unsafe, super-expensive or limited-edition models don't appear on the list, but instead cars from each segment that are more likely to satisfy the general population.
There are some real goodies on the list, including but not limited to vehicles such as the capable Honda Fit, the cultish Honda Accord coupe (which can be had with a 240-horsepower V6 and a six-speed manual transmission some years), and the powerful Chevrolet Corvette. While Edmunds' choice of the Volvo C70 for best used convertible baffled us at first (not that it's a bad car), it redeemed itself by stating that the Mazda MX-5 still is an unofficial top choice if you don't require more than two seats.
West Coast labor dispute hampers Japanese automakers' US plants
Wed, Feb 18 2015The ongoing labor dispute between the International Longshore and Warehouse Union and port owners along the West Coast is starting to affect more Japanese automakers building vehicles in the US. The issue already forced Honda and Subaru to take the expensive option of airlifting some parts into the US weeks ago, and according to USA Today, Toyota and Nissan have begun doing so, as well. The choice hasn't been cheap, though, and Subaru's chief financial officer estimated that the decision cost around $60 million more per month than sending components by cargo ship. The effects continue to radiate, according to USA Today, and shortages of some models are possible. Honda is slowing production at its factories in Ohio, Indiana and Canada because the automaker doesn't have enough transmissions and electronics for some vehicles. Toyota already cut back on overtime at some factories. Nissan has only seen a small effect from the issue, though, because of its local suppliers. Dock workers and port owners have been negotiating on a new contract since last year, and the union has organized work slowdowns in response. According to USA Today, the automakers could move shipments to Canada or Mexico, but it would take longer for parts to arrive. Toyota FCV Concept comes one step closer to reality
Wed, 20 Nov 2013When Toyota first conceptualized a gasoline-electric hybrid vehicle for mainstream Americans to drive, the initial response was pretty skeptical. Still, through relentless engineering and solid product after solid product, Toyota has built the Prius brand into the dominant force in the hybrid car market.
Something like that plan of attack is what the Japanese company is preparing for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, as well, and that attack is seeing a critical salvo fired today with the debut of this FCV Concept at the Tokyo Motor Show.
Though there's nothing substantive to be said about rumors of a 300-mile range or a sticker price around $50,000, the FCV concept does offer a few technical details. The sharp-beaked concept makes use of two high-pressure hydrogen tanks and boasts a power output density of three kilowatts per liter.
