Call/Text/Ebay Message Mario anytime at (518)-788-8965

NOTE: There should be 121
pictures of every part of the vehicle, if you aren't seeing them try reloading the page and scrolling down through the center.  The last pictures are of the engine compartment.

Up for sale is a fully loaded, very clean, and hard to find 2001 Toyota 4Runner Limited.  It has both clean Carfax and Autocheck Vehicle History Reports.  The truck has lived in Texas until at least 2006, and therefore has no rust.  Included with the sale of this truck are about 20+ service records.  Many consistent oil changes, fuel filters, fuel injector servicing, and the Timing Belt and Water Pump were changed @99,800 miles!

The exterior is in very nice shape.  The original "Champagne Metallic" paint shines beautifully.  There aren't any dents or dings to be seen on the exterior.  There aren't any scratches to mention, with the exception of a few small common scrapes on the fender flares.  If you continue to look over the pictures you will see the front bumper does have a mark on it and some rock chips.  The clearcoat has also started to peel a bit on the mirrors from the Texas sun.  The Limited alloy wheels are very nice with no corrosion.  Overall the truck is great looking with just a few small exterior flaws.

The interior is in very nice shape.  The carpets, seats, dashboard, and headliner are all clean.  There are two tiny chips in the windshield.  There aren't any smoke smells, burns, or marks inside.  All of the electronics are functioning properly, the power antennae has been changed to stationary.

This 4Runner Limited has a ton of features and options!

- 3.4L V6 Engine

- Automatic Transmission

- Ice Cold Air Conditioning w/Digital Climate Control

- Power Windows, Locks, and Mirrors

- Dual Power Heated Leather Seats

- Power Sunroof

- Cruise Control

- 6-Disc CD Changer

- Tilt Steering

- Dual Airbags

- Alloy Wheels

- Running Boards and Roof Racks

- Traction Control

- Window "Ventshades"

- Power Sliding Rear Window

This 4Runner runs and drives perfect as you would expect.  Everything works as it should.  The 3.4L 6-Cylinder engine starts instantly with no smoke and runs great.  The transmission shifts nice and smooth.  The truck goes straight down the road with no shakes, rattles, or pulls.  The brakes stop great with no pulsations as well.  The 4 Matching Cooper Discoverer H/T tires have about 40% tread remaining in the rear and have about 20-25% remaining in the front.

I have 1 Key, the full owners manual set w/case, the original limited 4-piece floormat set, service records, clean CarFax report, the spare tire, jack, tools, and a clean/clear title.

Recharge Wrap-up: Q50 Hybrid video, Iran's biodiesel weed

Mon, Aug 10 2015

A new video from Infiniti showcases the Q50 Hybrid's kinetic energy recovery technology, borrowed from Formula One. The video details what is going on inside both the Q50 Hybrid and the racecar when it gathers energy to store for later use, offering better performance than an internal combustion engine alone. In the Q50 Hybrid, that electric energy helps the car accelerate from 0-60 in 4.9 seconds. The video also serves to highlight the relationship between racing innovation and performance and efficiency improvements in production vehicles. See the video above. The 2015 Toyota Prius C has been named a Top Safety Pick by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS). The compact hybrid, updated for the 2015 model year, has been upgraded from a "poor" to "acceptable" rating in the small overlap crash test, placing it on the Top Safety Pick list. Beginning in the 2016 model year, cars will have to score a "good" rating on the test to make the list, which means further improvements will be necessary if Toyota wants the Prius C to maintain its safety status with the IIHS. Read more at Green Car Reports. A couple in Tennessee have been found guilty of scamming the state in a fake biodiesel scheme. John and Lisa Brichetto's Northington Energy LLC received a state loan to produce biodiesel in 2011, but the facility never started production and was later foreclosed upon. In addition to the $142,215 the Brichettos defrauded from Tennessee, the state also invested in utilities and roads, while the US Department of Agriculture also paid for site improvements. Read more from the Times Free Press. Researchers in Iran have developed a way to make biodiesel from a weed. Scientists at the Islamic Azad University have created two liters of biomass for biofuel from flixweed. Flixweed, also called herb-Sophia and tansy mustard, is a non-edible weed that grows in various climates with little to no effort. It was found to contain 22 percent oil and fatty acids, and the biomass contains oxygenated chemical components. "This issue is important because the atomic oxygen in the fuel of a car directly cuts exhaust and the dangerous carbon monoxide and cancerous particles suspended in air," says Mehdi Alami, a chemistry graduate working on the project. First Toyota unintended acceleration case headed for trial

Mon, 22 Jul 2013

Toyota is going to be back in the spotlight, as the first of its unintended acceleration lawsuits is headed for trial. This case covers a Los Angeles sushi shop owner, Noriko Uno. According to the what the family told The Detroit News, Uno only put about 10,000 miles on her 2006 Toyota Camry in four years. Uno was apparently afraid of high speeds, avoiding the freeway and taking a route home along LA's surface streets to avoid them.
On August 28, 2009, Uno's Camry suddenly accelerated to 100 miles per hour, eventually striking a telephone poll and a tree and killing her. The family contends that Uno attempted to step on the brakes and pull the emergency brake, neither of which brought her speed under control, while Toyota maintains that improperly installed floormats and driver error have been behind the majority of the 80 cases expected to be heard in court.
In Uno's case, The Detroit News is expecting the trial to focus on the lack of an override if the gas and brake pedals were pressed at the same time. Brake overrides were installed on Toyota's European fleet. The Uno family attorney will need to prove to the jury that it wasn't driver error that killed Noriko Uno.
