Call/Text/Ebay Message Mario anytime at (518)-788-8965

NOTE: There should be 121
pictures of every part of the vehicle, if you aren't seeing them try reloading the page and scrolling down through the center.  The last pictures are of the engine compartment.

Up for sale is a fully loaded, very clean, and hard to find 2001 Toyota 4Runner Limited.  It has both clean Carfax and Autocheck Vehicle History Reports.  The truck has lived in Texas until at least 2006, and therefore has no rust.  Included with the sale of this truck are about 20+ service records.  Many consistent oil changes, fuel filters, fuel injector servicing, and the Timing Belt and Water Pump were changed @99,800 miles!

The exterior is in very nice shape.  The original "Champagne Metallic" paint shines beautifully.  There aren't any dents or dings to be seen on the exterior.  There aren't any scratches to mention, with the exception of a few small common scrapes on the fender flares.  If you continue to look over the pictures you will see the front bumper does have a mark on it and some rock chips.  The clearcoat has also started to peel a bit on the mirrors from the Texas sun.  The Limited alloy wheels are very nice with no corrosion.  Overall the truck is great looking with just a few small exterior flaws.

The interior is in very nice shape.  The carpets, seats, dashboard, and headliner are all clean.  There are two tiny chips in the windshield.  There aren't any smoke smells, burns, or marks inside.  All of the electronics are functioning properly, the power antennae has been changed to stationary.

This 4Runner Limited has a ton of features and options!

- 3.4L V6 Engine

- Automatic Transmission

- Ice Cold Air Conditioning w/Digital Climate Control

- Power Windows, Locks, and Mirrors

- Dual Power Heated Leather Seats

- Power Sunroof

- Cruise Control

- 6-Disc CD Changer

- Tilt Steering

- Dual Airbags

- Alloy Wheels

- Running Boards and Roof Racks

- Traction Control

- Window "Ventshades"

- Power Sliding Rear Window

This 4Runner runs and drives perfect as you would expect.  Everything works as it should.  The 3.4L 6-Cylinder engine starts instantly with no smoke and runs great.  The transmission shifts nice and smooth.  The truck goes straight down the road with no shakes, rattles, or pulls.  The brakes stop great with no pulsations as well.  The 4 Matching Cooper Discoverer H/T tires have about 40% tread remaining in the rear and have about 20-25% remaining in the front.

I have 1 Key, the full owners manual set w/case, the original limited 4-piece floormat set, service records, clean CarFax report, the spare tire, jack, tools, and a clean/clear title.

General Motors became second-largest US advertiser in 2013

Fri, 28 Mar 2014

General Motors might be mired in several recalls, as well as the ongoing investigations from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and Congress into the automaker's response to those recalls. However, the company can celebrate taking the title of the US' second-largest advertiser in 2013. According to Ad Week examining a recently released study, total advertising spending in the US posted its fourth consecutive year of rising expenditures with 0.9-percent growth to $140.2 billion. Of that, the auto industry spent $15.2 billion to promote its goods in 2013, up 3.8 percent.
The country's biggest advertiser was Procter and Gamble, which dropped $3.17 billion in 2013, an increase of 11.8 percent. GM became the nation's second largest promoter with $1.794 billion in spending, up 10 percent. The biggest proportion of that money went to sell Cadillac and GMC. AT&T barely lost out with $1.793 billion in advertising, 15.2 percent growth. The 10 businesses with the highest ad investments spent a cumulative $15.9 billion during the year, 6.6 percent higher than 2012. Toyota came in eighth place making it the only other automaker to rank in the top 10.
The study also indicates that there is a shift in advertising spending from television and print to the Internet. There was 15.7 percent more money outlaid to promote products online in 2013 than the previous year. In comparison, television dropped 0.1 percent, newspapers were down 3.7 percent and radio fell 5.6 percent.

Lexus tops JD Power Vehicle Dependability Study again, Buick bests Toyota

Wed, Feb 25 2015

It shouldn't surprise anyone, but Lexus has once again taken the top spot in JD Power's Vehicle Dependability Study. That'd be the Japanese luxury brand's fourth straight year at the top of table. The big news, though, is the rise of Buick. General Motor's near-premium brand beat out Toyota to take second place, with 110 problems per 100 vehicles compared to Toyota's 111 problems. Lexus owners only reported 89 problems per 100 vehicles. Besides Buick's three-position jump, Scion enjoyed a major improvement, jumping 13 positions from 2014. Ram and Mitsubishi made big gains, as well, moving up 11 and 10 positions, respectively. In terms of individual segments, GM and Toyota both excelled, taking home seven segment awards each. The study wasn't good news for all involved, though. A number of popular automakers finished below the industry average of 147 problems per 100 vehicles, including Subaru, (157PP100), Volkswagen (165PP100), Ford/Hyundai (188PP100 each) and Mini (193PP100). The biggest losers (by a tremendous margin, we might add) were Land Rover and Fiat, recording 258 and 273 problems per 100 vehicles. The next closest brand was Jeep, with 197PP100. While the Vehicle Dependability Study uses the same measurement system as the Initial Quality Survey, the two metrics analyze very different things. The VDS looks at problems experienced by original owners of model year 2012 vehicles over the past 12 months, while the oft-quoted IQS focuses on problems in the first 90 days of new-vehicle ownership. Like the IQS, though, the VDS has a rather broad definition of what a problem is. Because of that, a low score from JD Power is no guarantee of extreme unreliability, so much as just poor design. In this most recent study, the two most reported problems focused on Bluetooth connectivity and the voice-command systems. The former leaves plenty of room for user error due to poor design (particularly true of the Bluetooth systems on the low-scoring Fords, Volkswagens and Subarus), while the second is something JD Power has already confirmed as being universally terrible. That makes means that while these studies are important, they shouldn't be taken as gospel when it comes to automotive reliability. Toyota confirms 2014 Highlander is in a New York state of mind

Wed, 13 Mar 2013

Toyota has confirmed that it will be showing off the all-new 2014 Highlander at the New York Auto Show later this month. It's been a while since we've heard about the updated Highlander, but given just how long this thing has been on the market, we certainly hope that the list of changes will be more extensive than the new 2014 Toyota Tundra that debuted in Chicago last month.
Currently, the Highlander is offered in both naturally aspirated and hybrid versions, with front- and all-wheel drive. We don't expect the formula to change too much, since sales of the Japanese CUV are still steady - well in line with newer players in the segment like the Ford Explorer, Nissan Pathfinder and GM's Lambda triplets (Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave).
We'll have the full skinny on the new Highlander in the coming weeks. For now, scroll down to read Toyota's incredibly brief press blast.
