Up for sale is my Family's Toyota 4-Runner SUV.  Overall good condition with strong engine, transmission, body, etc... Over #100 Service / Maintenance records available for your review.  Additional INFO:

  1. Mostly Highway miles on truck.  I commute over 1 hour a day which can be verified.
  2. Over #16 Pics of Body and Engine including Interior.
  3. ENGINE / Runs great, shifts smoothly, 4WD option works perfectly.  Like driving a Japanese Snowmobile on Winter roads.
  4. BODY / Small amount of surface rust starting to show. (See Pics). Otherwise nice exterior, windows, etc...
  5. INTERIOR / Brown corduroy like fabric. NEW 4runner logo carmats.  Cool A/C.

I am selling because it's become too expensive to commute to work with Gas prices.  Otherwise, I love this truck and if I could I would include a warranty to guarantee many more miles on engine. / Please feel free to research my 100% Ebay satisfaction rating and the past items that I have sold which includes a different vehicle.  I want to price my items fairly & lower than others for quick sale and less hassle.  I tried to provide detailed information about this SUV, but I'm sure there are many other questions.  I can be reached by email, phone or text at #330-720-6014.  My name is Matt Nichols.

I will try to reply ASAP.  Below is the VIN number of truck for your records.  Thank you for looking

FYI:  I am listing some answers to a few questions people have emailed me about so you have more information on the vehicle and there are no issues at the end of the auction.

1.    One owner:

·         There were actually #2 owners, the original who bought from Dealership & Myself.  I apologize for the error, I was trying to emphasize that the truck was owned and cared for all of its years by primarily one owner.

2.    How is the clutch / Transmission

·         The service documents I have states that Ammcco Transmission Company performed a complete service and update of all related components a few years ago.

3.    Any visible Oil leaks

·         I have not seen any oil leaks in my driveway or in my parking spot at work.  However, occasionally an odor emits from the engine?

4.    Will I take Best offer?

·         Yes, I actually tried to put this option into the Ad when I posted, but it was not available?

Hope this helps... Call, text or email me with any other information you might be interested in.

THanks, MATT

This Japanese ad for the Toyota Prius Plug In is beyond confusing

Fri, Jun 20 2014

We'll admit we don't understand all of this strange little ad for the Toyota Prius Plug In (our Japanese skills are not what they once were) but that just makes it all the more fascinating. The takeaway point is that a world full of PHEV Priuses will be astonishingly colorful at time and exciting, with food being delivered by a neck plug. Or something like that. We recommend clicking below and just watching the 60-second spot (and the short making-of video) but if you'd rather read here's what we have figured out: There's some airline-pilot type guy who is visited by who he calls his sister. The voiceover says she's some kind of saleswoman, and she begins to talk up the plug-in Prius alongside the J-Pop group AKB48 Team 8, telling the crowd – including a man in a big, round bird mask – how easy it is to plug in. The old man watching the J-Pop girls tells the woman next to him, "I have their CD." Then we see the original duo back home and the guy says he's hungry before plugging in a blue energy wire. The same wire that then starts charging a Prius. That may not really clarify anything, but there you have it. Watch for yourself below. At the very least, we won't confuse this ad for one from another automaker. This content is hosted by a third party. To view it, please update your privacy preferences. Manage Settings. Toyota JV will sell Leahead EVs in China next year

Thu, Oct 23 2014

You may have read that Toyota is about to establish a new electric vehicle sub-brand in China called Leahead that will focus on "cheap electric cars aimed at young and hip car buyers in China." This isn't 100 percent true, but the Japanese automaker is revving its electric motors for EVs in China, in a fashion. It makes sense for automakers to push for more EVs in China, given government support for the technology and the proven success of Tesla there. Low-speed EVs are popular, as well. Indirectly, Toyota is going to sell electric vehicles to Chinese customers next year. We've heard reports before that Toyota is interested in going electric in China, with a different Toyota JV and thus a different brand but now we have an official word on Toyota's future EV moves in China, direct from Jana Hartline, the environmental communications manager for Toyota Motor Sales, USA. Hartline told AutoblogGreen that Toyota just celebrated the 10-year anniversary of GAC Toyota Motor Co., Ltd (GTMC), its joint-venture manufacturing company in China. And it is GTMC, not Toyota directly, that is the company behind Leahead (called Ling Zhi in Chinese). Leahead will begin selling EVs under the Ling Zhi brand starting in 2015. So, yes, indirectly, Toyota is going to sell electric vehicles to Chinese customers next year. There are rumors that the new EVs will be electric versions of the Corolla EX and/or the Yaris L, but we've got nothing confirmed on that front. We will be waiting for more new at the Shanghai Motor Show next April.

Incrementally better than ever | 2017 Toyota 86 First Drive

Tue, Oct 4 2016

We'd love to tell you that the incremental upgrades bestowed upon Toyota's rear-wheel-drive coupe as it made its transition from Scion FR-S to Toyota 86 have transformed it into a perfect sportscar. If only a few more horsepower, shorter rear-end gearing, and tiny aero updates were enough to quell all the complaints that enthusiasts have leveled at the machine since the platform first hit the road in 2012, this review would have been so much more satisfying to write. Sadly, that's not the case. Don't get us wrong. The 86 is still extremely fun to toss around a twisty road. The chassis is impressively balanced, the steering is direct, and the shifter is sweet. Sorry to impart upon you this well-worn trope, but the old adage that it's more fun to drive a slow car fast than it is to drive a fast car slow is, in this case, completely accurate. The 2017 Toyota 86 is nothing if not entertaining. But it's not completely new. It hasn't been transformed. It is, in the end, the same as it ever was. It will take about three minutes of your time to watch the videos below, in which we cover pretty much everything that's new for the 2017 Toyota 86. Toyota 86s equipped with manual transmissions get a five-pony boost to 205 horsepower and 156 pound-feet of torque. Automatic models soldier forth with a carryover 2.0-liter four-cylinder that puts out 200 hp and 151 lb-ft. Apparently, more than half of Scion FR-S buyers chose the automatic. That's unfortunate, as it drains a good deal of the fun out of the 86 experience. Choose the manual and you'll be rewarded with an easy clutch and a rewarding short-throw shifter. And, as we said, five more ponies, courtesy of intake and exhaust tweaks and the polishing of some internal engine components. The only upside to the automatic is improved fuel economy of 24 miles per gallon in the city and 32 on the highway. Manual 86s are EPA-rated at 21/28. Along with the small bump in power, the 2017 86 gets a 4.3:1 rear-end gear ratio in lieu of the old 4.1:1 unit. That ought to translate into a small improvement in acceleration that really only matters on paper. In the real world, on actual roads, the difference is negligible. To eke the most out of the 86, you have to constantly work the shifter and keep the engine north of 5,000 rpm. It's still not particularly quick, but it's definitely fun. There's plenty of noise inside the 86, from the wind, the road, and the engine.
