Ok here is the auction i know you have been waiting for...... this is by far one of the cleanest 1991 4Runners out there.. this truck is ready to drive and provide years of use to you, here is what has just been done to the truck, new tires all way around, new head gaskets, new timing belt, new water pump, fresh oil change, and new coolant.... this truck has just had over $2000 invested in it, the body is very straight with just a slight surface rust in rear door jambs (see pic's), it could use a professional buff job to really shine.... the interior of this truck is SUPER clean!!!! it shows almost new in my opinion, and every function of the truck works as it should, a/c nice and cold, all windows work all lights work, even rear window in tailgate still functions.... these trucks are very desirable and most of the time they are rotted out, this is super clean example of a well taken care of 1991 4WD automatic with 193410 miles on it!!!! any questions please e-mail or feel free to call 410-804-2157. josh

Incoming Toyota chairman wants a Supra successor
Fri, 14 Jun 2013We'd venture to guess that in recent years, there have probably been almost as many rumors swirling about a Toyota Supra successor than there have been for a mid-engine Corvette. (Case in point: the speculative renderings we came across a few years ago, pictured above.) While we don't expect the Corvette's recipe to change drastically any time soon, it looks like a Supra - or more appropriately a Supra-like car - could be closer than we think.
First, there was an announcement of a BMW-Toyota joint venture. Said venture would, among other things, "Set up a feasibility study to define a joint platform concept for a mid-size sports vehicle."
Upping chances even further, a new Automotive News report claims that incoming Toyota chairman Takeshi Uchiyamada wants a vehicle "comparable" to the Supra. Clearly there are a lot of parties that want a new Supra to happen - to say nothing of enthusiasts - but Uchiyamada might be just the guy to get it done. None of this is proof positive of an impending Supra, to be sure, but winds do seem favorable.
Tesla pulling plug on Toyota RAV4 EV battery deal
Mon, 12 May 2014The future of the Toyota RAV4 EV appears to be in doubt. Tesla supplies the EVs battery packs, and it says that production ends later this year.
"Toyota is expected to end the current RAV4 EV model this year," Tesla said in its quarterly financial filing obtained by Bloomberg. "Our production activities under this program are expected to end in 2014," the company said.
This timeline fits closely with the original production plans for the RAV4 EV. When the $100-million project was first announced, Tesla said that it expected to supply battery packs for the vehicle from 2012 to 2014. Building components for the Japanese automaker continues to bring in money, though. In the company's Q1 2014 letter to shareholders, it said: "Automotive revenue included $15 million of Toyota powertrain sales." According to Bloomberg, Toyota has sold just 1,594 RAV4 EV models from 2012 through April 2014. Initially, the business had estimated that it would sell 2,600 units of the electrified crossover.
