This is a great running 4Runner! The 31 inch tires are less than a year old and are perfect for all of you off roaders. The 4WD works perfect so you never have to worry about getting stuck in the snow. I live in Colorado and have driven it up to the mountains without any worries. The engine and transmission are rebuilt and have less than 150,000 miles on them. There are no leaks on the vehicle. The battery is less than a year old and it has a brand new power steering pump as well. The window visors are just a few months old. It also has a tow package and the wiring is there and ready to plug into your tow harness. The inside is in good condition considering the vehicle's age. Vehicle is equipped with back seat heat. The dash is free of cracks, the headliner is free of tears and the seats and door panels are in good shape. The driver's side seat is ripped on the side (see pictures), but no other rips in the seats or carpet.

There is some rust over both of the rear wheel wells and the front bumper has a dent on the passenger side (see pictures). There is also a small dent and a spot of rust on the rear door panel, also shown in the pictures. The Rear Anti-lock Brake light is on. It has been on since I bought the car in February of this year, but I have not had any issues with the car breaking. The oil gauge does not work on the dash...again was like that. I just check the oil on a regular basis. The air conditioning does not work and I never looked into why, so I can't say what it needs. The heat blows hot and the blower switch works on low and high, but not the middle speed for some reason. These are the only issues with the vehicle.

Like I said, this is a great running vehicle and has been very reliable, as it has been my daily driver. So whether you are looking for a reliable vehicle to get you through the snow, or a vehicle to do some crazy off roading, this is the one for you. Vehicle is located in Colorado and buyer is responsible for shipping. Vehicle is sold as is without warranty, and I reserve the right to sell it locally. Feel free to email me with any further questions I may not have answered. Happy bidding!

Toyota Mirai, Lexus LS show off Advanced Drive assists with OTA updates, AI

Thu, Apr 8 2021

TOKYO — Toyota Motor Corp unveiled on Thursday new models of Lexus and Mirai in Japan, equipped with advanced driver assistance, as competition heats up to develop more self-driving and connected cars. Toyota's latest launch comes as automakers, electric car startups and tech giants invest heavily in so-called active safety features. The Japanese carmaker's new driving assist technology, or Advanced Drive, features a level 2 autonomous system that helps driving, such as limiting the car in its lane, maintaining the distance from other vehicles and changing lanes under the driver's supervision on expressways or other motor-vehicle-only roads. The system can even handle lane merges, and when passing trucks its lane system will move the car further to the opposite side of its lane. The car will recommend a course of action to a driver before executing it. The system also features a camera to monitor the driver's actions and level of attentiveness, and if the driver seems unresponsive or incapacitated, the car will pull itself over. The luxury sedan Lexus LS will be on sale from Thursday, costing between about 16.3 million yen ($148,600) and 17.9 million yen ($164,000), while the second-generation Mirai hydrogen fuel cell car will be offered on April 12 at between 8.4 million ($76,900) and 8.6 million yen ($78,750). The new models are Toyota's first products brought to the market that provide over-the-air updates and utilize AI technology centered on deep learning, said Toyota executive James Kuffner, who is also the head of Toyota's research unit Woven Planet. "This is really an important first step in our journey towards software-first development," he said at an online briefing on Thursday, adding that the company has tried to design the software to be truly global and to provide re-usability. In the future, software features on cars will be "upgradable" and "more customizable" much like how people personalize their smartphones, Kuffner added. Fully self-driven cars are still likely to be years away, but rival General Motors early this year made a splash at the virtual Consumer Electronics Show with a fully-autonomous all-electric flying Cadillac concept, while Chinese search engine operator Baidu unveiled a partnership with local car brand Geely.

How Toyota's neighbor delayed 23,000 of its deliveries

Thu, 17 Jul 2014

Don't you just hate when your neighbors' mess becomes your problem? Toyota certainly has good reason to be upset, after an dirty mishap at a steel mill delayed thousands of vehicle exports from its nearby port in Nagoya, Japan, (pictured above) by as much as a month.
The messy situation occurred on June 22 when the mill near the port lost power and had to burn off an excess buildup of coke oven gas - which isn't exactly a situation friendly to living beings or the environment. According to Automotive News, it caused a massive amount of smoke to emit from the plant that fell as soot and tar on about 23,000 vehicles that were waiting to be shipped out. Getting the models properly cleaned off has been quite a task. A team of 5,000 workers were at the port until this week getting them gleaming again.
Potential Toyota buyers in North America have no need to fret about getting a sullied car, though. A Toyota spokesperson told Automotive News that none of the vehicles were bound for this continent. The automaker is reportedly considering asking the mill's owners for reimbursement for the cost of the weeks of cleanup. Paying for the mistake is, after all, the neighborly thing to do.
