I am the 2nd owner of this stunning 4Runner. As you'll notice in the photos, it's almost as if it were stored in a time-capsule! I bought this rig last August from the original owner. She was a 60+ year old lady. She had driven the truck off the showroom floor in 1986! It is unbelievably clean. And it still runs like a top. Routine highway MPG is 23-24.5. I think this speaks volumes about how well it's been taken care of over the years. Absolutely, the old owner was a bit OCD about things! Non-smoker, etc etc. NO rips in the seats. Seat covers have always been used. I only took them off to photograph.
There is one, barely noticeable dent in the driver's side, rear body panel. It was hard to photograph, but you can kinda see in the photos. I had a repair shop go over the vehicle about 2 months ago and it was given a clean bill of health. The engine is super clean and ready for years upon years of use. Starts strong, every time. The only modifications from stock are the following: 1. Rear bumper swapped out so I could get a tow hitch on the truck. Not so I could tow something, but so I could put my bike rack in the hitch! This truck has never towed anything in it's life. 2. There is an aftermarket CD/stereo receiver installed. 3. I had some add-a-leafs installed on the rear leaf springs. This was done only to level out the vehicle and make it handle better, safer. In regards to the bumpers, the truck will come as shown in the photos. (straight bumper installed, w/ 2" tow hitch) The "deluxe" step bumper is also included in the sale. Along with all of the mounting hardware. It fits perfectly. Please message with any questions at all. Please feel free to call, and I will try to answer if I can. Txt is good too. 541-76zreo-05zreo9. I think the pictures should provide many answers as well. Buyer is responsible for local pick-up or vehicle shipping. I am happy to help facilitate this. $1000 non-refundable |

2014 Toyota Corolla shows just enough to keep us interested
Tue, 21 May 2013To date, the best idea we have of what the 2014 Toyota Corolla will look like is the shape and styling of the Furia Concept from this year's Detroit Auto Show. Obviously the compact car will turn down the wick a fair bit from that orange machine, and now we have one more scintilla of an idea of what the final product will look like.
Published today on Toyota's official Facebook page, the image above clearly shows the rear quarter of the 2014 Corolla S. Though the low angle is pretty wonky, we can make out that the shape of the taillight cluster is very similar to that of the Furia, albeit without the same LED treatment, A hint of a trunk-lid spoiler is also in evidence, and also follows the Furia's lead.
Toyota points out that the new Corolla will be shown in earnest on June 6. Expect to see the full version of the car by that date at the latest - online leaks have a tendancy to speed these things up.
Editors' Picks May 2021 | BMW M3, Toyota Camry and some hot Golfs
Thu, Jun 3 2021We awarded Editors’ Picks status to a number of performance cars this month, but a couple more regular sedans won out, too. April saw us recognize four models, but that increases to six for May. As the weather warms up here in Michigan, we tend to get into the sports cars that we missed driving all winter, resulting in a sports car-heavy month of testing. That explains why the list this month is so heavy on sports cars and hot hatches. In case you missed our previous couple Editors' Picks posts, hereÂ’s a quick refresher on whatÂ’s going on here. We rate all the new cars we drive with a 1-10 score. Cars that are exemplary in their respective segments get EditorsÂ’ Pick status. Those are the ones weÂ’d recommend to our friends, family and anybody whoÂ’s curious and asks the question. The list that youÂ’ll find below consists of every car we rated in May that earned the honor of being an EditorsÂ’ Pick. 2021 Toyota Camry 2021 Toyota Camry XSE Hybrid View 22 Photos Quick take: The Toyota Camry retains its place as one of the best midsize sedans you can buy. It comes in a variety of trims and powertrains, from the potent TRD model to the fuel-sipping hybrid. It's an attractive, functional and well-rounded car offering value and function. Score: 8.5 What it competes with: Honda Accord, Hyundai Sonata, Kia K5, Nissan Altima, Mazda6, Subaru Legacy, VW Passat, Chevy Malibu Pros: Highly versatile, efficient hybrid, fun-to-drive sport models Cons: Average infotainment, polarizing exterior, slow base four-cylinder From the editors: Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore — “The Camry is one of the standard bearers in the midsize segment. With many companies abandoning this area, the ones that remain — like Toyota — do it well. Long a bastion of boring design and sleepy driving dynamics, the Camry is now legitimately attractive and offers a range of powertrains. It's a solid entry and along with the Honda Accord, makes the case for midsize sedans to exist." Consumer Reports says infotainment systems 'growing first-year reliability plague'
Mon, 27 Oct 2014The Consumer Reports Annual Auto Reliability Survey (right) is out, and the top two spots look much the same as last year's list with Lexus and Toyota in first and second place, respectively. However, there are some major shakeups for 2014, with Acura plunging eight spots from third in 2013 to 11th this year, and Mazda replaces it on the lowest step of the podium. Honda and Audi round out the top five. This year's list includes six Japanese brands in the top 10, two Europeans, one America and one Korean.
Acura isn't the only one taking a tumble, though. Infiniti is the biggest loser this year by dropping 14 spots to 20th place. Other big losses come from Mercedes-Benz with an 11-place fall to 24th, and GMC, which declines 10 positions to 19th.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, it's not traditional mechanical bugs hauling down these automaker's reliability scores. Instead, pesky problems with infotainment systems are taking a series toll on the rankings. According to Consumer Reports, complaints about "in-car electronics" were the most grumbled about element in new cars. Problem areas included things like unresponsive touchscreens, issues pairing phones and multi-use controllers that refused to work right.
