Hello I am selling my suzuki samurai. This car is just amazing. I bought it to go offroading but never had the chance to go with my sons. We have been using it as a summer toy and keeping it in the garage and taking it out as a sunday car.

This car has never been offroading I was planning to take it but just never had a chance.

The car has over 8000 dollars invested into it to make it a cruisable offroad toy.

The car has a 4000 dollar one year old red paintjob with 4 coats of clearcoat sprayed on. If you get a scratch it is easily polished out which is amazing.

The engine runs strong transmission is butter smooth with a new clutch.

please call me for the upgrades as there is too many too list....

5 inch lift

mud boggers 33x12x15

15 rims with red pinstripe

small locker perfect for cruising and going offroading occasionally.

Bars all around the car

high performance exhaust

roof headlight rack

4 halogen on roof

heavy duty rear and front axle cover

new sound system

new paint job

new bully bar

new side mirrors

interior offroad door handle new'

hood scoop

fog lights

4500 pound winch brand new never used even once.

This car is the most fun i have ever had on wheels. and that is just cruising around with the top down.

the top goes up and down in minutes and you can even take the doors off!

I hate to see it go but with my kids going to college i could use the money. I am 52 years old and just wont be using it anymore either with my kids leaving

Thanks and have a blessed day.

205k Suzuki models being investigated for airbag sensor issue

Wed, 19 Jun 2013

The Detroit News is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened an investigation on the 2006-11 Suzuki Grand Vitara and 2007-11 Suzuki SX4 due to issues with the airbag and seatbelt for the front passenger seat. So far, NHTSA has received 128 complaints on these vehicles for airbag warning lights, airbag off lights and seatbelt lights, on a vehicle set that totals around 205,000 units, but there is no indication as to how many, if any, injuries have reported.
Via technical service bulletins, Suzuki has already acknowledged two airbag-related issues with front passenger seats on both vehicles, including a programming error for the passenger seat load indicator on 2009 models and an open-circuit problem for the sensor mat that determines if an adult or child is sitting in the front seat. Since this latter issue would not shut off or lessen the impact of the passenger airbag, Suzuki has already extended the warranty for the seat cushion bottom to 10 years or 120,000 miles. After ceasing new-car sales in the US and Canada, potential recall repairs (which still may or may not happen) would be handled by remaining dealers as laid out in the recent court-approved bankruptcy plan.

Motorcyclist lucky to escape with life after 100-mph crash

Wed, Feb 10 2016

A motorcyclist tried to run from the California Highway Patrol in San Diego in the wee hours of February 9, but things didn't quite work out as he planned. In fact, the fleeing rider is lucky to be alive after colliding with a Kia at over 100 miles per hour during, ending, rather abruptly, the pursuit. The video on The San Diego Union-Tribune below shows the collision, but you might need to watch it a few times to see what happens. The bike shoots by in a flash, and then there are suddenly sparks when the cycle hits the rear of the car. Watch the left side of shot to see the rider standing by the median after the crash. Police quickly arrive to the scene to apprehend him. The guy is wearing a helmet but understandably appears to be in pain after the high-speed accident. The crash ripped the front end off the rider's Suzuki, but the Kia's driver wasn't harmed – though clearly shaken. According to the San Diego Union-Tribune, police took the motorcycle rider to the hospital to treat undisclosed injuries. What's Now: A motorcyclist going at least 100 mph slammed into the back of a car on I-805 early this morning. Remarkably, he was left standing on his own two feet before being arrested. Suzuki iV-4 Concept is a personalized 'ute for everyone but US

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

It's with some sadness that we present to you the Suzuki iV-4 Concept - there's absolutely no way we'll ever see a production Suzuki based off this conceptual design in the States, despite the fact that the brand has quite a small-SUV heritage on our shores. Of course, we won't be seeing any new Suzuki passenger cars or trucks in the US at all...
For the rest of the world, Suzuki's push with this concept is personalization. According to the automaker, the name is broken down as such: "i" stands for "individuality," "V" for "vehicle," and "4" for "4 wheel-drive." A tad convoluted, perhaps, but we'll roll with it.
As far as its styling, the iV4 doesn't break any new ground for Suzuki, recalling its past and current production models with details that include a clamshell hood and a five-slot grille. Suzuki promises a production variant of this concept, and the "individuality" part will be accomplished through a selection of exterior components, colors and textures, though we're not clear what exactly that means or how it will differ from the accepted practice of ordering a unique car through a dealership.
