There is some damage to the hood and windshield, the hood latch failed to hold the hood shut, the hood flew up and hit the windshield about 35 mph... Cracked the windshield, and dented the hood, minimal damage done to both... There is small dings and small chips in paint but very typical for a vehicle of this age... It could also use two tires in the near future"

This Samurai is in Great Condition overall with 99,200 Original miles.  It has the 1.3 liter 4cyl engine and a 5-speed manual transmission.

Runs and drives really good, very dependable and reliable.  Mostly in the original condition, except for a few modifications, and they are :
It has a spring over suspension lift, up graded shocks, heavy duty steering rods, drive shaft spacers, running lights, fog lights, high def halo
Headlights, bigger back up lights, warn winch with remote and extra battery just for the winch, it also has a cb radio and an alarm.
This Samurai also has removable doors and the canvas top is in good condition. It is absolutely 100 % Rust Free.
It also has Lockers in the front and rear differentials, so it's not very fast, but it tops out about 60mph on the highway.

As I stated in the condition description it does have some dents ad dings, hood and windshield due to the hood latch failure and two tires
This is everything that I know that's wrong with my Samurai.     It comes with back seat, which is not pictured in this listing.

You will not find a nicer Samurai for the money, these are getting very rare and hard to find, and almost impossible to find them with no rust.

I have owned this Samurai for 3 years and it was driven back and forth to school by my son during his High School years, never any issues.

You, as the winning bidder must pick up this Samurai, I will not ship or deliver!          Must be paid in full and cleared by Paypal before pick up!

This Samurai has been very well taken care of, and it shows.....  Thanks for looking, happy bidding

Suzuki shows electric coupe that's also a wagon, autonomous van and Hustler Concept in Tokyo

Tue, Oct 1 2019

Update: More photos and details of these Suzuki concepts have surfaced since their official reveal at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show. Turns out, the Waku Spo coupe can also be a wagon. We love it. When you swap in the wagon rear end, the rear seat slides back and automatically reclines. All of a sudden, the sporty coupe has turned into a somewhat roomy wagon kei car. Its interior features a fully digital dash that will actually simulate wood grain on the passenger side when in the Normal drive mode. When sport mode is selected, the "wood grain" transforms into a massive screen of dials and vehicle information. The Suzuki Hanare is the van pictured in the gallery and further below. Its drive wheels feature in-wheel electric motors, and the interior is all about customization. The folks in Suzuki's press photos look happy to be hanging out by their Hanares, and we think we'd be pretty happy too. One of the vans has a bar; the other has a massive screen with a map, and the middle van is full of storage for outdoor activity supplies. Lastly, Suzuki showed us the Hustler Concept. It's essentially just a Hustler made to look like an off-road kei car. We're picking up the Jimny vibes Suzuki is laying down. It's wonderfully boxy and features a bevy of neat accessories. Suzuki is celebrating its 100th anniversary at this year's Tokyo Motor Show. To mark the occasion, the company has created two unique concepts that look to the past for style, and the future for powertrain and use cases. One is called the Waku Spo, and the other is the Hanare. The Waku Spo is pictured above, and it's a plug-in hybrid with styling rooted in '60s Japanese cars. It's simple and squared off save for the wide fender flares and charming round headlights. There are dashes of chrome trim around the car and two-tone paint. The fender-mounted rearview cameras are a high-tech twist on a classic Japanese car feature. But if this design doesn't appeal to you, Suzuki says body and interior parts can be quickly switched out so each driver can have a car that's personalized to their tastes. While the Waku Spo is a more traditional, driver-oriented car, the Hanare is more of an autonomous pod. According to Suzuki, Hanare translates to "cottage" and the theme of the van is to be your home away from home. It's meant to be a mobile room to do whatever you want. It also looks like it's intended to be private and secluded, as the only windows are slender pieces that wrap around the roof.

Suzuki recalling 23k GSX-R750 and GSX-R1000 bikes to replace chain adjuster

Sat, 18 Oct 2014

Suzuki is known for having a pair of very capable sportbikes in its GSX-R750 and GSXR-1000, but now the Japanese company is recalling 23,073 of them in the US to replace the chain adjuster. Specifically, the campaign affects 2011-2014 model year versions of the 750 and the 2009-2014 1000.
According to documents from The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the problem can occur if riders miss a gear while upshifting. It's possible that the following shift might put enough added strain on the drivetrain to move the rear axle. This can damage the left-side chain adjuster. If there's too much harm done to the part, then the chain could potentially slip off the bike, leaving the powerless bike more vulnerable to a crash.
To fix the problem, Suzuki dealers will "replace the left-side adjuster with an improved part" that will be heat-treated to be stronger. Scroll down to read the full recall report.

American Suzuki Motors files chapter 11, will no longer sell cars in the United States

Mon, 05 Nov 2012

As much as we knew it was a possibility, we have to say that Suzuki's announcement this afternoon that it is filing chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings caught us a bit off guard. American Suzuki Motor Corporation - the sole distributor of Suzuki automobiles in the United States - will realign its business to focus on motorcycles, ATVs and the marine market.
What does this mean in simple terms? In short, new Suzuki cars and trucks will no longer be sold by Suzuki in the United States once current supplies run out. Period.
Suzuki cites "low sales volumes, a limited number of models in its lineup, unfavorable foreign exchange rates, the high costs associated with growing and maintaining an automotive distribution system in the continental US and the disproportionally high and increasing costs associated with stringent state and federal regulatory requirements unique to the US market."
