2013 Subaru Impreza Wrx 5-door Wagon ... One Owner on 2040-cars
Leesburg, Florida, United States
I love this car so I don't want to sell it, but I have to. We are moving out of the country and the car won't fit in the suitcase. So for sale is our family car '13 WRX 5-door. We had an '02 WRX before and purchased this one new Nov.'13. What's not to love about this car??? It's mint, practically new, dealer maintained, and in perfect running condition. Mostly lady driven, if you can call my wife a lady:) We have upgraded the stereo with a new head unit (Sirius compatible), speakers and an 8" sub just because the stock one wasn't great. I also mildly upgraded suspension springs and sway bars for a sure footed feel and safety. The car still retains comfortable ride with much improved cornering. Engine is untouched and stock. Also installed was a new grill to close off the big hole in the front bumper and protect the radiator and condensor from road debris. Included in the sale are all the take offs/stock parts, set of all weather floor mats, Subaru roof rack (never been installed), and new car smell. We did not intend on ever selling this car, so it has been babied since day one. What you're bidding on is a practically new car with $1500+ in upgrades and extras priced below dealer prices. Car is located near Orlando and has never left Florida. Please contact us with any questions (407) 325-2520. WARNING - if you're not a Subaru guy/girl yet.....you will be! We do not need any assistance selling this car; serious inquiries only please. |

Subaru Viziv Future Concept conceptualizes the future
Wed, Oct 28 2015Well, here's a rugged little thing. It's the latest in Subaru's Viziv series of concepts, unimaginatively called the Viziv Future Concept. But never mind the name, what we have here is a forward-thinking SUV that packs a new hybrid powertrain, downsized turbo engine, and reworked version of Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive. That said, there's little to learn about these reworked systems, with Subaru's own press blast saying a whole lot of nothing about the new technologies found within the Viziv. Only the updated AWD system gets an explanation, with Subaru saying the "propeller shaft has been eliminated by mounting the single motor concentrically on the rear axle in a compact layout. In addition to AWD capabilities, a flat floor is realized for an expansive, comfortable interior space." What does the Viziv mean for Subaru? It's hard to say. Initially, this concept looks like a neat take on a next-generation Forester, but let's also remember that Subaru plans to re-join the three-row SUV segment soon with a proper replacement for the Tribeca. In any case, it's a tough-looking thing, and something we could easily see fitting in with Subaru's range of rugged all-rounders. Related Video: Subaru VIZIV Future Concept (world premiere) Subaru VIZIV Future Concept is a SUV-type concept model embodying the future vision of car development for "enjoyment and peace of mind" that Subaru wants to provide to customers. Along with a package of design features that motivate the owner to get out and get active, this car gives a look at next-generation technologies that will further enhance the reputation of Subaru for "enjoyment and peace of mind" in driving. Among them are the automatic driving technology resulting from the ongoing evolution of EyeSight, and the power unit combining a downsized turbo engine with a hybrid system. Subaru remains focused on providing cars that enrich the lives of customers, as the start of an exciting new chapter. The Subaru VIZIV Future Concept gives a glimpse at the future Subaru has in mind for the brand. 1. Design The design concept is "Subaru & Active Life". Giving concrete form to the Subaru Dynamic & Solid design theme, the design clearly shows the value of "enjoyment and peace of mind", while generating the urge to go out and actively discover the wide world. Exterior The body as a three-dimensional solid form is given a clear polished surface enhancing the impression of high density and sturdiness.
Subaru XV runs over dog in Russian ad, but in a funny way
Sat, 26 Apr 2014In case you're wondering, no, the woman didn't actually hit the dog. This is just a commercial, and a fairly clever one after you get over the perceived canicide, that's meant to show off the desirability of Subaru's lifted Impreza wagon, the XV Crosstrek.
We'll try not to spoil it for you, because it is a fairly humorous piece, but you have to make sure to watch it from start to finish. The found-footage angle of it, which sort of presents it with the same quality as a Russian dashcam video, just adds to the video's ridiculous premise.
We aren't sure if this is an actual ad from the Russian arm of Subaru, as it seems to be posted from an independent account with only one video to its credit. Still, have a look below, and let us know what you think.
2013 Subaru Outback Limited
Wed, 09 Jan 2013Subaru has given the 2013 Outback a host of detail changes and updates, though you'd hardly know from looking at it. The mild exterior changes mostly go unnoticed, and if you're comparing on a numbers basis, the new 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine is bang-on what the old engine would do. The biggest news is EyeSight, Subaru's new stereo camera-based system that drives lane-departure warning, active cruise control, automatic emergency braking and forward collision alert functions.
The 2013 Outback spent some time in my driveway, and as far as jacked-up wagons with off-road cladding go, this is one of the most affordable of the lot. That doesn't mean it's cheap; the Outback I tried was a Limited model with moonroof, navigation, EyeSight, leather and CVT added on. That takes the Outback from its roughly $25,000 starting point and adds nearly $10,000, landing solidly in the mid-$30,000 range. Still, against its most natural competitors like the Volvo XC70 and Audi A6 Avant, the Outback is a better value.
