2012 Subaru Impreza Wrx Wagon 4-door 2.5l on 2040-cars
San Diego, California, United States
Medical student looking to sell my WRX hatch to help with down payment on a condo. I love my car more than anything I've ever owned - it's truly an amazing machine. But life has to go on and I need the down payment, so she needs to find a new home. The specs: -20,100 miles -Oil changed, tires rotated regularly by Subaru of National City (all maintenance records on hand) -OEM oil and filters used -Stock everything, except for upgraded sway bars and endlinks ($700 new). They do NOT affect warranty; warranty is still completely and fully intact. The car rides much more flat, with drastically reduced body roll. Upgraded to Whiteline 24 front, 22 rear sway bars, and Kartboy Endlinks. Best of the best - and the car feels terrific. -Cobb delrin 5-speed shift knob ($70 and best shift knob I've ever felt) -Car has NEVER been tracked, been on a drag strip, raced, or redlined. She's been my daily driver baby for a year and a half, and I like taking care of my things. -She has never been lowered or abused in any way -Subaru master mechanic has given the car his blessing - it is completely mechanically sound -She has been washed and vacuumed and polished/waxed regularly -Car had 2 small and easily repairable cracks on the front bumper (bottom of bumper, nearly underneath so they're just about invisible unless you're under the car) when I hit a pothole, and one paint transfer on the rear left side bumper when someone backed out into me. I already have estimates for repair, should cost less than $300. The cracks in the front bumper have already been repaired. -Car has Thule AeroBlade roof racks with two (2) Thule 526 Circuit Fork-mounted bike carriers and lock cylinders for both the roof rack to the car as well as for the bike carriers ($850 new). The rack is negotiable with the sale of the car. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have about the car. I'm more than happy to discuss any details. I will not allow joy rides of any sort - you can go to a Subaru dealership if you wish to test drive the car - with the exception of the sway bars, power is exactly the same. Mine only handles better :) Price with added extras is $25500. Both prices are firm. Low ball offers will be strictly ignored. Thank you for looking! Full payment must be received within 7 business days of the end of auction. Payment must be either by cashiers-check, or certified funds. If funds are not received, and an alternate arrangement has not been made, the vehicle can and will be made available to other potential buyers on a first-come, first-serve basis. I am more than happy to assist with shipping arrangements, however the buyer will pay for all shipping costs. Buyer finalizes the shipping arrangements. The car is being sold As Is, with no warranties expressed or implied, by seller other than the existing factory warranty. Vehicles come with books and/or manuals supplied from factory. As with any used vehicle, minor signs of wear may become more obvious under close inspection, such small chips or nicks, light scratches or minor abrasions, wheel scuffs, and other indications of normal wear and tear. We will not and cannot be held liable or responsible for these issues. Bidders are entering into a legal and binding contract to purchase the vehicle described above. If you do not intend to purchase this item, PLEASE DO NOT BID! Non-paying bidders, unqualified bidding, bid shielding, auction interference or any type of harassment, will be dealt with according to eBay Rules, local law, and may include, but are not limited to, legal action and applicable fees, lose of deposit or any other necessary costs. |

A pair of Mitsubishis, the Mazda CX-30 and electric incentives | Autoblog Podcast #673
Fri, Apr 9 2021This week's Autoblog Podcast features Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore and Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski as they debate the merits of the redesigned Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86 coupes and whether or not they are distinctive and powerful enough to attract buyers. The duo spends some time discussing ongoing EV and infrastructure legislation before turning their attention to a trio of crossovers. Greg muses about the 2021 Mazda CX-30 before Jeremy talks about the refreshed 2022 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and completely redesigned Outlander. We get nostalgic as we remember the dearly departed Pontiac GTO before wrapping the podcast up by making one more suggestion to a longtime listener who is shopping for a vehicle to replace her aging Honda Pilot. You can buy the last Subaru rally car driven by Colin McRae
Sun, Feb 14 2016Colin McRae continued entertaining the fans for years after retiring from competing full-time in the World Rally Championship – though sadly not for enough of them. His last public appearance was at the 2007 Goodwood Festival of Speed, driving the car you see here to the crowd's delight. And now it could be yours. Though it may look mostly like any ordinary Subaru Impreza WRX STI, this is a full-on S12B rally machine. Petter Solberg drove it for the factory Subaru World Rally Team throughout most of the 2007 World Rally Championship, scoring two podium finishes. That would make it desirable enough as it is, but then McRae drove it up Lord March's front lawn (see the video below) to cement its place in history. It was the last time McRae drove in public before he died in a helicopter crash near his home in Scotland just months later. The vehicle has since been stripped down to its shell and completely rebuilt to showroom condition. It has only put on a little over 200 miles since the engine was rebuilt, and the clutch was replaced just 50 miles ago. It has new seats and harnesses, fire extinguishers, brake discs and pads, the suspension has been fully rebuilt, the wheels powder-coated afresh.... top-notch, in other words. C&M Motors out of Omagh, Northern Ireland, has it listed on RallySales.com with an asking price of GBP159,500 – equivalent to just over $230k at current exchange rates. That would put it in contention as one of the most expensive Subarus we've ever seen, rivaling the $238k which Sports Car Market records as having been paid for another ex-McRae Impreza just this past October.
