Up for sale is my show and track ready 2011 Subaru WRX with over $59,000 in mods. The only reason for selling is because I want to start a new project. If I could afford to I would keep this car as well.

I have owned this car since new when bought back in 2011. Since then, I have built this car up to be ready for shows, sound quality audio competitions and spirited driving. All oil changes have been performed every 3,300 miles with Shell Rotella 5w40. Transmission and differential fluid has always been Motul and no expense has been spared on the parts and motor build. The car has been painted in Designo Magno Alanite Grey from Mercede-AMG which is a matte silver metallic. All interior work is done by JPM Coachworks in Atlanta, GA and the motor/power work is done by TopSpeed Motorsports in Alpharetta, GA as well as the tuning done by Douglas Wilkes. This car has been treated as a shop car at TopSpeed so it has been under very good care over the entire period of ownership. The car is making 417whp/430 wtq on TSM's Dyno Jet.

The motor build was installed in February of this year and has only 10k miles on it.

Climb to the Clouds returning thanks to Subaru title sponsorship [w/video]

Wed, 31 Jul 2013

The Mt. Washington Hillclimb, otherwise known as the Climb to the Clouds, hasn't been done since 2011. That year, Subaru Rally Team USA driver David Higgins set a new record for the event first held in 1904, running the 7.6-mile vertiginous course in 6:11.54. The race will be return in 2014 with the help of that very carmaker, Subaru of America having stepped in to the title sponsor role for what will be the Subaru Mt. Washington Hillclimb.
Taking place from June 26-29, 75 modern and vintage cars will spend three days racing up the 6,288-foot-high mountain. It's not as long nor as high as Pikes Peak, but it does have something that the Colorado competition doesn't: gravel; about 13 percent of the Mt. Washington Carriage Road still hasn't been paved.
If you want to know what a record-breaking run up the northeast's highest peak looks like, check out Higgins behind the wheel in the video below.

Prodrive builds new Isle of Man Subaru for record attempt

Mon, Apr 4 2016

Prodrive have released photos of their new weapon for the Isle of Man TT Course. The three-time British Rally Champion Mark Higgins has set a number of records driving a Subaru on the famed Manx course throughout the years, and this time Subaru Technica International and Higgins are teaming up with Prodrive. Prodrive are famous for building Subaru's rally cars in the past, from 1990 to 2008, so the joining of forces gives the Isle of Man TT car an extra helping of motorsport magic. These days, Prodrive is also known for rally-prepared Minis and for building Aston Martin racing cars. They've had their share in giving UK-specification customer cars more power as well, along with creating a one-off, Subaru-based P2 sportscar to showcase their engineering skills and close ties with the Japanese manufacturer. This year's motorcycle event takes place on the treacherous 37-mile circuit in the end of May and early June. Past years' record drives have been especially memorable, and Higgins has been at it since 2011, first dipping under 20 minutes with a 19-minute, 56.7-second run five years ago – besting Tony Pond's 1990 laptime by over two minutes. The latest time for Higgins is 19 minutes and 15 seconds, so it will be interesting to see if the new car does it in less than 19 minutes.
