2010 Subaru Wrx Sti Se, Dgm With Cpo Warranty on 2040-cars
Rochester, New York, United States
I'm the second owner. I picked it up certified from a dealer in PA.
I've done NO performance mods or anything that will impact the warranty.
Since I've gotten it the only things I have done besides washing and
oil changes are removing the tint from the front windows and the
window vent cover things.
Certified Preowned Warranty is 7 year, 100k miles. Can't beat that with a stick. It has ~40k miles on the odo I'm not using it as the DD anymore but I'm also not letting it sit and gather dust. That number will creep up slowly over time. It has 1 season old Continental summer tires on it. I don't drive like a complete arse so they are still very healthy. Comes with: a pile of oil filters. I think I have 5 left. The window vent covers I've removed 1 season old SNOW TIRES. A full set of snows on 17" wheels with TPMS. I forgot the brand but I can check if the buyer wants. If you have a V1, I will leave the wiring harness in place, otherwise I will pull it. It is set to mount above the rearview mirror. Mods: Red tail covers SPT short throw shifter Black side badges Tinted rear windows/hatch RallyArmor flaps Dome/Trunk/License plate lights switched to LEDs Gallery: Full gallery winters: |

Consumer Reports sneaks in early review of 2015 Subaru Outback
Wed, 21 May 2014Subaru is taking a bit of a measured risk with its new generation of Legacy and Outback. While they ride on a slightly larger platform than before, with a revised front-end design, neither of them looks to be a radical departure from models they replace. Instead of focusing on exterior styling, the Japanese brand is trying to make the vehicles better to own with more sound deadening, improved fuel economy and more available tech. Pricing for the 2015 Outback isn't available yet, but with the 2015 Legacy pricing as a guide, it's likely a few hundred dollars more than the current model.
We just had our first stab at the new Legacy, which is slated to go on sale this summer, but Consumer Reports managed to snag an early look at the 2015 Outback in a sort of mini-review to get an idea of how the new model shakes out. Like many, we'd wager, CR isn't completely sold on the new styling, but seems otherwise moderately impressed by the upgrades. The improvements to the interior and infotainment system are especially well received by them. Naturally, though, CR notes that not everything is perfect with the high-riding wagon.
Scroll down to watch CR's preview of the new Outback and see what it thinks of this practical family hauler.
Subaru teases Impreza sedan concept for LA
Tue, Nov 10 2015When the doors open at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month, Subaru will be on hand to preview its upcoming Impreza. But before it does, it's giving us an idea of what to expect. Although we can only see so much of it from the teaser image above, the Impreza Sedan Concept pictured here for the first time looks similar to the Impreza 5-Door Concept we saw in Tokyo mere days ago. It seems to bear the same headlights and the same sculpted flank as the hatchback show car. Only as you might have discerned by now, it has a trunk instead of a tailgate. And instead of that blueish-silver, this one's done up in metallic red. For more than that, we'll have to wait. And it's entirely possible that even when it does arrive, Subaru won't tell us much about the technical specifications. Many of these concepts don't actually have engines, after all, When the new Impreza does reach production, it will in all likelihood feature a boxer four engine and all-wheel drive. Subaru to Debut "Impreza Sedan Concept" at 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show Tokyo, November 10, 2015 – Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the manufacturer of Subaru automobiles, today announced that the "Impreza Sedan Concept" will make its world debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show (Press day: November 17 – 19 / Open to the public: November 20 – 29, 2015). The Impreza Sedan Concept will be unveiled at the press briefing scheduled for 2:35 PM PST on November 18 at Subaru booth following a speech by FHI President & CEO, Yasuyuki Yoshinaga. The special site opens today on the Subaru Global Site. http://www.subaru-global.com/2015la.html The site will feature information updates relating to the Los Angeles Auto Show including Subaru's press conference. Watch Mark Higgins whomp the Isle of Man TT course in a 2015 WRX STI
Fri, 20 Jun 2014Subaru has made another trip to the infamous Isle of Man TT, bringing along its all-new 2015 Subaru WRX STI. The goal? Best the already impressive time set by rally ace Mark Higgins and the 2011 Impreza WRX STI on the same swirling, high-paced ribbon of tarmac. Of course, you already know how that went.
What we didn't know when the story first broke, though, was that Subaru was monitoring data. Specifically, Higgins' data. He was fitted with a monitor that would record his heart rate, breaths, skin temperature and the g forces he was faced with as he lapped the 37-plus-mile road course. While Higgins and Co. were aiming to best their 2011 time (19:56.7), this year's effort also saw a push to beat the time of the sidecar racers.
You can get a recap of the entire event, with plenty of footage and data from Higgins' lap in the exhilarating video below. Take a look.
