DESCRIPTION
Up for sale is a 2004 Subaru WRX STI!! The car has been well maintained. The car starts and runs very well. The vehicle is in great mechanical condition. Known for their stylish looks, exceptional performance and superb reliability, these vehicles are very drivable and fun to own.
EXTERIOR
The body is in great shape. The World Rally Blue Pearl color really sets this car apart and makes it look extra nice. Car is equipped with Gold alloy wheels with tread on the tires. The WRX STi comes with GP side skirts, Auto boss custom carbon fiber wing, GReddy bumper and GReddy SP2 catback exhaust. Also, the car comes with reverse scoop on a aftermarket hood. It definitely makes it stand out even more and is very presentable. The car looks clean and solid from the outside!!!
INTERIOR
It's in great condition. The car comes with Alpine AM/FM radio Tape and CD. The stereo gives off a clean sound. The center pod gauge cluster houses three GReddy gauges (Boost, Oil Pressure, and Water Temp). The car is also equipped with a Prodrive shift knob, power windows, locks and mirrors. The climate control works properly and all of the buttons are in working order. The blue and black interior really stands out. There is a slight discoloration on front passenger seat. Otherwise the interior is a 9/10. You won't be disappointed with its condition!!!
MECHANICAL
The car is mechanically sound. Starts up from first time. The engine revs up with no problems. The 4-cylinder, turbo engine always provides exceptional power. The 6 speed manual transmission shifts smoothly and precisely from gear to gear. An ACT clutch was installed. Additionally, the car comes with Brembo brakes from the factory. An aftermarket Turbo Timer has been installed on the vehicle, which is a great add-on for any vehicle that comes with a turbo-charged engine. As mentioned earlier these are very popular and long-lasting engines that also provide unbelievable performance. Whether you are looking for a reliable car or a vehicle to stand out in, it succeeds in both and gets constant looks. There are no known mechanical issues with this vehicle. You will be impressed with this vehicle!!! Click below to see the mechanical specs from Edmunds.com about the Subaru WRX STI.
The tires will need to be replaced, as I don’t know what percentage of tread is left, I had them on for about two years.

Now that we've seen and driven the 2015 Subaru WRX, it's time to set our sights on the car's more powerful and traditionally massively winged counterpart: the STI. And while a few rumors about the new STI have already leaked, Subaru today confirmed that we'll be seeing the hotter 'Rex at the Detroit Auto Show later this month. Hot diggity.
Last we heard, the new STI will still use a turbocharged, 2.5-liter boxer-four (remember, the standard WRX uses a version of the 2.0-liter engine found in the Forester) producing something like 300 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque. What's more, don't expect the STI to hatch a five-door variant - Subaru recently told us that there are no plans to offer anything beyond a sedan bodystyle for both versions of the WRX. Sad trombone, we know.
That said, if our time with the 2015 WRX sedan is anything to go by, this new STI should be pretty rad. The new WRX is significantly sharper than the outgoing model (in terms of driving dynamics, anyway - it's still a pretty ugly little thing), and we fully expect the STI to be a bulgier, harsher, more powerful and aggressive version of the already awesome street-legal rally car. We're just hoping it will be offered with WRC-correct gold wheels, too.

In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by West Coast Editor James Riswick. First they talk about driving the Volvo V60 Cross Country and Ford Explorer ST, with some thoughts about the Subaru Outback and Super Bowl commercials as well. Then they dive into the mailbag, answering questions and following up on the outcomes of previous "Spend My Money" segments. Finally they wrap things off with a new "Spend My Money," in which they help a listener pick a new car that will accommodate a new, tiny family member without sucking all the fun out of driving. Despite on-again, off-again rumors, this latest set of spy shots seems to indicate that yes, a five-door Subaru WRX is indeed in the works. Subtlety is key with this test mule, but there are clear bits of evidence that indicate a hotter hatchback is what's being developed here.
First, notice the WRX-spec front fascia grafted onto this ordinary-looking Impreza hatch. From there, we can clearly see the tiny bit of added width - most obvious on the roof and at the rear, near the fuel door and taillamps. And of course, let's not forget about that bulge in the hood, consisting of a metal panel that covers the hood scoop and can apparently be removed thanks to a series of screws, according to our spies. The WRX's more robust exhaust and larger wheel/tire package have not been added to this mule, though we're told that this is commonplace for Subaru prototypes - those bits should be added on as the car's development progresses.
We fully expect a WRX hatchback to be, well, just that - mechanically, it should be identical to the sedan brethren, though our spies indicate that Subaru could be testing an updated version of the WRX-spec boxer engine. Of course, there's always a chance that this could be something else entirely, given the on-and-off reports of the five-door 'Rex's existence in the first place...
