Subaru Svx Ls Only 1,666 1994s, One Of 400 W/ Suede Seats Door Panels And Dash on 2040-cars
Pearland, Texas, United States
This is one of 1666 made this year on the whole planet Earth, leaving how many coming here in USA and how many left after wrecked and parted out? Its not going down in value and definitely climbing I am only selling to get money for my Tax's but do not care if it does not sell. This car is good enough to drive every day if needed but too
collectible to do that. I had this car 3 years and drove it about 600 miles. I
have the title as a ONE OWNER , I have not processed it cause I get a state
issued tag and do not need the registration so technically you will be second
owner. -------------> *This car is the one with the better Transmission, in 1994 it was a split year for these cause the All Wheel drive was a big problem so they put this FWD in it and no more problems making this a much more desirable collectors car. INTERIOR, clean!, has one blemish on passenger seat front
and a few real small hardly noticeable on rear. BODY, is clean and straight with door dings on passenger
door. PAINT, Bordeaux Pearl, looks black but shimmers a wine color
when Sun is gleaming on it, is shiny, has typical road chips and used car type
tiny blemishes, MOTOR, is clean enough to eat off, very quiet running. No leaks, no problems,
will start at any turn of the key. OPTIONS, everything works accept driver window, I think its
off track, front windshield has a lower very middle crack. *** If you live out
of Texas and need a shipper I will try to help find one, usually about $600
from here to California last time I
shipped. I will help take to a port or shippers address and help load. This is a good car but I do not give a warranty. *If you live in Texas we will be doing the registration right away Here are some statistics, Passengers are protected in a compartment of 'box
section" steel, there are steel beams inside the doors. Front and rear
roof pillars have steel stiffening lines bonded inside. There are front and
rear deformable sections. All the sheet steel is zinc galvanized to prevent
rust. The hood is designed to bend when hit in the front. All Subaru engines
are low profile boxer design and drop under the car in front end impacts. Climate control with automatic air conditioning, and outside temp. gauge Dual illuminated visor mirrors, map lights plus glovebox, trunk and door
lights Tilt wheel with memory and telescoping Center console with armrest,
Dual cup holders Cruise control 160 MPH Speedometer fuel and coolant temp gauge,
warning lights for low fuel, brake light, door ajar. Front:
Speed sensing variable speed intermittent with "winter mode" which
leaves the wipers where they can be reached Rear: Electric rear window defroster with intermittent wiper/washer 1666 made

2015 Subaru WRX STI goes for the gold [w/video]
Tue, 14 Jan 2014If the all-new 2015 Subaru WRX has taken a good thing and made it great, then this should be, well, greater. Meet the range-topping WRX STI, packing more power, a decidedly more aggressive suspension tune, beefier looks, a giant wing and (woo!) gold wheels.
Those spiffy BBS wheels and WRC rally-ready matching WR Blue paint won't necessarily be around forever, though - Subaru is offering this package (along with unique interior trim) on the STI Launch Edition, limited to just 1,000 units. And cool as it may look, there's far more to love about the new STI package.
Power comes from a 2.5-liter turbocharged boxer four-cylinder engine, sending 305 horsepower and 290 pound-feet of torque to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transmission. (Launch Edition models even get a short-throw shift kit, which will likely be available as a dealer-installed accessory thereafter). Unlike the standard WRX, a do-it-yourself 'box will be the only transmission available. Subaru is employing its new - *ahem* - Multi-Mode Driver Controlled Center Differential version of the Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive, which, in addition to a standard 41/59 torque split, uses things like torque vectoring, and, when put in manual mode, allows the driver to select one of six center differential locking levels. In other words, the STI should be incredibly sharp on the road - sharper than ever before.
2016 Subaru WRX makes IIHS TSP+ fun
Mon, Sep 14 2015We write about boring, utilitarian compacts being named to the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety's Top Safety Pick+ list pretty regularly. Today, we've got yet another fun car to add to the tally – the Subaru WRX. Thanks to the inclusion of the company's impressive EyeSight active safety system, the WRX was able to score a "Superior" rating on IIHS' frontal crash prevention test, which is the highest score possible. Vehicles are required to score at least an "Advanced" rating to earn the TSP+ mark. In addition to the active safety system, TSP+ vehicles must also record "Good" ratings across the four basic crash tests – front, side, rear, and rollover – and a "Good" or "Acceptable" rating the small-overlap crash test. Of course, Subaru is no stranger to IIHS' biggest honor – the Legacy and Outback were named Top Safety Pick + vehicles in April 2014. We're still scouring the Internet for the actual crash test video from IIHS. Once we uncover it, we'll update this post. Until then, scroll down for the official press release from Subaru. 2016 Subaru WRX Awarded IIHS' Highest Standard of Safety "2015 TOP SAFETY PICK (TSP) +" ? "EyeSight" achieved the highest possible rating of "Superior" for front crash prevention. ? Seven models have earned 2015 safety awards from IIHS. Tokyo, September 14, 2015 - Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the manufacturer of Subaru automobiles, today announced that the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS; a nonprofit organization supported by auto insurers in the US) has awarded the highest standard of safety, 2015 TOP SAFETY PICK+ (TSP+) along with the highest possible rating of "Superior" for front crash prevention to the 2016 Subaru WRX (US specs.), equipped with Subaru's EyeSight* driver assist technology. By adopting the EyeSight for 2016 model, WRX earned 6 of 6 points for front crash prevention. Including 2016 Subaru WRX, Subaru has seven models that have earned 2015 safety awards from IIHS - six with TOP SAFETY PICK+ and one with TOP SAFETY PICK. The EyeSight was the first system ever to use only stereo camera technology to detect the objects such as vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists. Since its Japanese debut in May 2008, features available on this system have been highly praised; they included pre-collision braking control and all-speed range adaptive cruise control tracking function.
We drive a Subaru to one of the world's largest glaciers
Wed, Feb 24 2016Now that we're back from Patagonia, senior video producer Chris McGraw is emptying out his camera memory and putting together a number of short clips showing the various places we visited along the journey. (Yes, we wanted to upload these last week, but had little to no wifi connectivity along the way.) In this latest video, we bring you the sights from our trip to the Perito Moreno Glacier in Argentina, and a look at the roads leading into Chile. Our chariot for what was actually Day 3 of the trip was a Subaru Forester, which had no problem tackling the rough dirt and gravel roads through Patagonia, and was an excellent cruiser for the twisty paved roads leading into the Andes mountain range. The Perito Moreno Glacier is massive – roughly three times the size of Manhattan – and is one of only a few glaciers in Patagonia that's still growing. It is truly an awesome sight – one that's hard to describe, because when you see it, you just sort of stand there, mouth agape, fascinated. We've got a few more clips in the works, including our full Patagonia feature video. Stay tuned, and enjoy the view.
