The car has never been winter driven and is rust free, but there is a small bubble forming at the rear of one wheel arch. The A/C was refilled and worked great for 3 weeks then ran out of fluid, so there is a leak somewhere. Tires are good, and apart from defects noted, everything works. I have removed the ABS fuse because I don't like that feature, but it does work.
This is a ridiculusly low price for such a car, but that's what they go for. I have owned it for 9 years and I am only selling because I am 78 and are no longer driving it enough.
The car is in Hudson, Quebec about I/2 hour west of Montreal.

That won't happen, though, and we have the Chicken Tax to thank. This damnable bit of legislation affixes a 25-percent tariff to any light truck not built in the United States. That's why Honda, Toyota and Nissan build all their trucks in the United States, and it's also why pickups like the foreign-built Volkswagen Amarok, shown above, or the long-rumored Mahindra pickup aren't offered here. Subaru recalls 3k Legacy and Outback models for fluid leak
Tue, Aug 25 2015Subaru is recalling 2,893 examples of the 2015-2016 Legacy and Outback because of a potential transmission fluid leak on the two models. The affected vehicles carry build dates between July 3 and July 25, 2015 for the Legacy, and until July 27 on the Outback. According to a Subaru document posted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (as a PDF), during production, the seal cap in the propeller shaft yoke may have been deformed. This could cause a transmission fluid leak, and "there is a possible risk of fire" if the liquid drips onto the exhaust, the report says. Dealers will replace the entire prop shaft on these models, and repairs will start on August 28. New examples will carry a stop-sale until fixed. Transmission oil may leak from a deformed seal cap on the propeller shaft yoke. CONSEQUENCE: If the transmission oil leaks onto the exhaust pipe, there is a possible risk of fire. REMEDY: Subaru will notify owners, and dealers will replace the propeller shaft, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on August 28, 2015. Owners may contact 1-800-782-2783.
