Up for sale is a beautiful 2 owner 2005 Subaru Outback that has been maintained from conception. The car runs and drives excellent it has had all required maintenance preformed and needs nothing. The cars original Satin Peal White paint shimmers in the sun and the inside tan interior is super clean, this car has not been smoked in and has no odors or stains. I would like to point out that there are some bumps and scratches around the car from normal wear and a few larger scratches on the hood but nothing that is terribly noticeable if its an issue some elbow grease and compound should get them out just fine. The car has heated seats, heated windshield wipers, the best AWD system that has been made "in my opinion" and even power seats. The winning bidder is responsible for the shipping costs of the vehicle but we would be more than willing to work with you to make shipping the vehicle as easy and painless as possible. Acura may go all AWD in bid to mimic Subaru's success
Mon, 13 Oct 2014Acura's struggles have been well publicized. The Honda-owned luxury brand doesn't seem sure of where it's going or what it's trying to accomplish, with its cars and marketing lacking a coherent theme. Now, a new report from Automotive News claims that the brand could follow the success of Subaru and (to a lesser extent) Audi, and adopt all-wheel-drive as standard across its model range.
"I think that's the way we should go," Acura boss Koichi Fukuo told Automotive News.
Acura already offers some form of all-wheel drive on every vehicle in its line aside from the lamentable ILX sedan. That could change as Acura begins rolling out next-generation versions of its still relatively new stable of sedans and crossovers.
Toyota GT86 turbo, convertible, sedan variants back on the table
Fri, 02 May 2014Okay Toyota, make up your mind. Figure it out. Quit playing games with our heart. Either build a bunch of variations of the excellent GT86 (also known as the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ) or don't. At this point, we're just tired of the back and forth. After no shortage of denials, an Australian website is claiming that Toyota is reconsidering convertible, four-door, turbocharged and all-wheel-drive hybrid variants of the GT86. Kindly pass all the salt.
It's not that we don't want to believe the Aussies; we do. But when the story lists the same "sources in Japan" as a lot of the other denials and confirmations about GT86/BRZ/FR-S variants, well, there's a certain sense of the "Boy That Cried Wolf," here. Ignoring all that, then, what does Motoring.com.au claim to know?
Sources claim the GT86 Convertible will arrive in October 2014, while the turbocharged and hybrid sedans are slated for 2016.
