Up for sale is a beautiful 2 owner 2005 Subaru Outback that has been maintained from conception. The car runs and drives excellent it has had all required maintenance preformed and needs nothing. The cars original Satin Peal White paint shimmers in the sun and the inside tan interior is super clean, this car has not been smoked in and has no odors or stains. I would like to point out that there are some bumps and scratches around the car from normal wear and a few larger scratches on the hood but nothing that is terribly noticeable if its an issue some elbow grease and compound should get them out just fine. The car has heated seats, heated windshield wipers, the best AWD system that has been made "in my opinion" and even power seats. Revisit the charms of the 1978 Subaru Brat
Mon, 27 Jan 2014The Subaru Brat is the automotive equivalent of a teenager with a mullet: weird, a little reckless but brimming with enough self-confidence to make it cool.
The Brat came from Subaru's desire to compete in the burgeoning light pickup market of the late-1970s. To get around the so-called Chicken Tax that added a 25 percent tariff on imported pickup trucks, Subaru threw two seats in the bed, which technically allowed it to be classified it as a passenger car. The result was a great, weird combination of a complete lack of safety, with a low price and lots of driving fun.

This dash cam vid shows a white WRX pirouetting past our recording car and somehow straightening out before either sliding off the road or slamming into the car ahead. If this were a standard move in rally racing, the WRC would be bigger than NASCAR.
Like most dash cam vids, we don't know where it was shot (Russia's always a good bet) or what the circumstances were (did the driver spin on purpose or was the 360-degree slide accidental?), but the remarkable feat was caught on camera and uploaded to YouTube, preserving it for an Internet eternity. 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid priced from $25,995* [w/video]
Wed, 02 Oct 2013Subaru revealed its 2014 XV Crosstrek Hybrid at the New York Auto Show earlier this year, and with the high-riding hybrid hatchback arriving at dealers by the end of this year, pricing has finally been set. Starting at $25,995 (*not including at least $825 for destination charges, which may vary in certain states), the new hybrid model represents a $4,000 premium over the standard 2014 XV Crosstrek models equipped with the continuously variable transmission.
Stepping up to the XV Crosstrek Hybrid Touring model, which adds navigation, leather seats and a moonroof, raises the price to $29,295. Subaru has still yet to release many key details for the XV Crosstrek Hybrid including fuel economy, combined horsepower and all-electric driving range, but the powertrain consists of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder Boxer engine mated to a 13.4-horsepower electric motor integrated into the CVT.
