We are selling our Subaru Outback as we no longer needed this as the family car so I downsized to a smaller car. This is a great car - It's surprisingly fun to drive yet also has as much or more interior room than most full size SUV's (while getting much better gas mileage than most SUV's) so it's great for transporting all your stuff. It also handles great in the winter. There is also a plug in the armrest/storage unit between the 2 front seats that allows you to plug in your Ipod/MP3 player to play songs over the stereo system. We bought this brand new and just had the car detailed so it looks brand new. The only negative about the car is some scratches on the back hood where we had opened it into our garage door - these knicks were quickly covered with a sealant after it happened so there is nothing to worry about in terms of rust, etc. There is also a small knick on the rear bumper and a very small ding on one car door. On a positive note, we also added a rear backup detection warning system to the car as this was not one of the standard options available on the car. We also purchased all weather floor mats and have used them since we purchased the car which has protected the floor carpeting from any snow etc. Payments terms: We will accept wire payment and will transact once the bank confirms that the money is in our account. We are in no rush to sell. All scheduled maintenance, All records, Always garaged, Excellent condition, Fully loaded with all the goodies, Looks & drives great, No accidents, Non-smoker, One owner, Still under factory warranty(new vehicle limited warranty goes through 36k miles and powertrain warranty through 60k miles), Title in hand, Very clean interior, Well maintained

Bronco, Yukon, Hummer and a CES recap | Autoblog Podcast #610
Fri, Jan 17 2020In this week's Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Consumer Editor Jeremy Korzeniewski and Assistant Editor Zac Palmer. They kick things off by talking about recent news, including the revival of the Hummer name as an electric pickup, revealing Ford Bronco spy shots and the unveiling of the 2021 GMC Yukon. Then Zac tells about his time in Las Vegas attending CES 2020. They talk about the cars they've been driving: a JCW-tuned Mini Clubman, the long-term Subaru Forester with its new gold wheels, a Volvo S60 PHEV that's been added to the long-term fleet, and a Camry Hybrid. Last, but not least, they help a listener decide how to spend his money on a sports car. Subaru ups US sales projections to 500k units
Wed, 10 Sep 2014Subaru is going absolutely gangbusters so far in 2014, with growing year-over-year sales every month this year adding to the streak of 33 consecutive months. The prognosis is so positive that the Japanese brand is revising its 2014 forecast to 500,000 vehicles or more, from a previous estimated 460,000. If it reaches the goal, it would be the first time that the automaker hit the half-million mark here.
Subaru has been growing steadily in the US for a while now. Annual sales have increased for the past five consecutive years with 2014 not indicating for that to change. For August alone, the company moved 50,246 vehicles, up 22.37 percent year-over-year, and the business proclaimed it as the best month in its history.
According to Subaru, it believes that the growth for the last two years has been fueled by the latest Forester and XV Crosstrek last year and the new Legacy and Outback this year. "The market is telling us that we are delivering products that consumers want at the right prices," said Thomas J. Doll, president and chief operating officer at Subaru of America. Scroll down to read the company's full announcement.
Subaru provides first glimpse at upcoming Forester STI
Mon, 27 Oct 2014Have you been patiently awaiting an STI version of the Subaru Forester? Your wait may be over soon, good friend, as teaser images of just such a vehicle have surfaced online.
Set to debut on November 25, the 2015 Subaru Forester STI will reportedly feature more aggressive aero and cooling, upgraded rolling stock and brakes, and Subaru Tecnica International's signature bright-blue paint and red accents.
What we don't know is what will provide the motivation. There's a pretty big gap at present between the 250 horsepower offered in the top-of-the-line Forester 2.0XT and the 305-hp WRX STI, and we don't know where along the spectrum the Forester STI might fall. Nor do we know, for that matter, if it'll be offered Stateside. But we're looking forward to finding out.
