This is a used, one-owner
2008 Subaru Outback XT Limited. Turbo-charged
Subaru boxer engine with a 5-sp adaptive electronic transmission and has
SI-Drive with three driver-selectable performance profiles. It has been my daily driver, all-around
car, and it is a solid performer and reliable.
The vehicle currently has less than 93000 miles. It has always been well maintained and has no
known mechanical issues. It has about
1000 miles before it is due for its next maintenance. Full brake service was performed this summer. This car is fully loaded with amenities, just
see the feature list! It also has
professionally tinted windows and front fascia paint protection film. I will be including a complete set of
all-weather mats, owner’s manuals, both original key fobs, and both remote
starter fobs. I just had it
professionally detailed and it looks great!
There are a few minor scuffs and scratches, and the interior carpeting
has some residual soil staining on the driver's side. Vehicle
is offered with remainder of 7yr/100000 mile Gold Plus Subaru Warranty, which

Subaru teases all-new Legacy ahead of Chicago debut
Thu, 30 Jan 2014Following the debut of the Legacy Concept at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, it appears Subaru is now ready to show us the real thing. The Japanese automaker has just confirmed that a production-spec Legacy sedan will officially bow at next week's Chicago Auto Show.
All we have to work with right now is the teaser image you see above, as well as some general overview-type stuff from Subaru in regards to its new model. According to the company's press blast, the next Legacy "is a midsize sports sedan which offers enhanced driveability and functionality while achieving a design required for a flagship model with a quality feel." In other words, it's a brand-new Legacy.
The Legacy Concept was a decidedly attractive thing, combining coupe-like styling elements and a new design that sort of reminds us of a Buick Regal GS. Of course, Subaru has a storied history of creating excellent-looking concept cars, only to later unveil very watered-down production versions, so we fully expect its new midsize sedan to be quite a bit more boring than the show car we saw in LA. Let's hope we're wrong.
Subaru nixes plans for US-built XV Crosstrek
Sun, Dec 28 2014Subaru is on a sales tear, with numbers up 21 percent through the end of November compared to last year. It's been investing in its Indiana factory, and having ended its contract to build the Toyota Camry there, the 400,000-unit capacity was once seen as more than Subaru needs. At some point Subaru had plans to build the XV Crosstrek here in the US, but Reuters reports that the company has changed its mind and will build the little crossover Scooby in Japan, in the same Gunma Prefecture factory where the Impreza, BRZ and Levorg are built. The report cites "the relatively high sales price," the weakening yen versus the dollar and capacity constraints at the Indiana facility. For a planned production run of 65,000 Crosstrek units annually, the new math – especially the yen valuation, which has declined against the dollar to a rate not seen since 2007 – makes Japanese production a viable option. Subaru isn't the only manufacturer taking its toys back home, either: the Reuters report says Toyota is considering shifting some Camry production back to Nippon, while Nissan plans to do the same with the Rogue. Our guess is that if Subaru sales continue the trend they've been on for years, the assembly decision will give them more local flexibility here for addressing it.
