Car had one minor accident - sideswiped while parked, fully repaired. This is a wonderful vehicle and is really worth a look if you want a safe, all wheel drive vehicle with all the bells and whistles. Newb tires (less than 5,000 miles), new brakes (less gthan 30 days old). Have 3 vehicles and need to get rid of one. Otherwise would keep this. I have complete maintenance records and this car is truly exceptional. No rust at all in standard rust areas (rear wheels, liftgate plate, etc.) Feel free to contact me with any questions. Subaru mulling expanding Indiana plant for Forester, Impreza
Fri, 07 Dec 2012Thanks to currency fluctuations and their impact on the bottom line, a growing number of Japanese automakers are starting to increase vehicle production in the US, and it appears Subaru could be the next to do so. According to Bloomberg, Subaru is looking into expanding production capacity at its Lafayette, Indiana assembly plant, which currently builds the Outback, Legacy and Tribeca as well as the Toyota Camry.
Subaru's Indiana plant currently has an annual maximum capacity of 310,000 units, but the automaker is expecting to far exceed that figure this year, with year-to-date sales of 299,788 units through November (not including Camry) - an increase of almost 30 percent over 2011. The report indicates that Subaru could expand the plant to add as many 50,000 additional units to the plant, likely in the form of either the Forester or Impreza.

Thu, Feb 25 2016For me, the most beautiful part of our recent Patagonia road trip was the two days spent inside the Torres del Paine national park in Chile. In terms of breathtaking vistas, this place has a ton. Everywhere you look, there's something beautiful to behold. And our merry band of Subarus had no trouble traversing the gravel, mountain roads that wind endlessly through the park. Because our trip to Patagonia was a once-in-a-lifetime experience, we played hookey for a day and went finishing in one of Torres del Paine's many rivers. Sure, the Subarus got us there without issue, but the main focus of this day was trying to catch one of the huge salmon swimming upstream. We failed, but still, if you're into fishing, Torres del Paine offers bucket-list quality stuff. Above, you'll see more of our sights from Chile's most beautiful park.
