When turning sharp either way from a stop the trans seems to bind up a little. It seems to be a common problem with these and from reading about it could be a simple fix to just a solenoid or flushing the oil and adding some kind of additive. Car is my daily driver and gets around just fine."

Car is my daily driver.  High miles at 214,000 but still runs good.

Previous owner had heads worked on, head gaskets done, timing belt, water pump about a year or so ago.
i just recently rebuilt both front axles
Has good tires all the way around
AC is cold
Leather heated seats, power windows, power locks (sometimes dont work), heated power mirrors, sunroof (does not move anymore), cruise control, CD and cassette player radio.
Interior is in good shape, exterior has normal wear and a couple rust spots.
The previous owner and me have been driving this car with this problem.  The car seems to bind up a little when turning hard from a stop.  I researched it and seems to be a very common problem with these and is not the trans doing this.  Seems to be either a solenoid problem or the trans needs flushed out and have additive put in.  Most expensive fix i found someone said a shop charged $375 to fix the issue.  I still drive it daily and it gets around fine.
Car is being sold as is and with a low reserve of $1000.  I believe the car is worth more but im looking to get a different car so i need the money towards new car.
Call or text me questions at 570 234 4136.  I will be out of the country from monday to thursday so i will not be answering my phone.

Subaru confirms it's found a new HQ location in Camden, NJ

Fri, Dec 5 2014

Subaru is packing up shop and making a big move, announcing that it will be relocating its Cherry Hill, NJ headquarters. Is the company pulling a Toyota and moving across the country, or perhaps following the example set by Cadillac and relocating to a major metropolis? Nope. The all-wheel-drive aficionados are going just four miles down the road, to Camden, NJ. We suppose that is one way to celebrate all of the company's sales successes. The move hasn't been confirmed through the New Jersey government just yet – it needs to be approved by the New Jersey Economic Development Authority – but if it gets the green light, it will see the company relocate to a new, 250,000-square-foot facility that's twice the size of its current headquarters. The land the company will be developing on is currently owned by Campbell Soup Company. Provided the NJEDA approves the plan, Subaru will work things out with its developers, and is hoping to be up and running at the new facility by 2016 or early 2017. Take a look below for the company's announcement. December 5, 2014 SUBARU OF AMERICA CONFIRMS APPLICATION FOR NEW HQ LOCATION IN CAMDEN, N.J. Cherry Hill, N.J. - Subaru of America, Inc. has confirmed that it has identified the preferred location of its new corporate headquarters as an all-new development in Camden, N.J. The new site is approximately four miles from the company's current location in Cherry Hill, N.J. The confirmation comes as Subaru celebrates six successive annual sales records and the new building is planned to bring on to one campus various functions of the company including Sales, Marketing, Service and Administration that are presently housed across three separate sites in southern New Jersey. The new site is adjacent to the Campbell Gateway District and is currently owned by Campbell Soup Company. Subaru of America will house more than 500 employees and contractors in the new facility that at 250,000 square feet will be double the size of the current HQ building. Subaru of America's application is now subject to New Jersey Economic Development Authority (EDA) approval, followed by negotiations with the developer Brandywine Realty Trust and then a concluding internal cost approval process. Final decision is expected by April 2015 and subject to this approval, Subaru plans to complete the project by fourth quarter, 2016 or early 2017.

Acura may go all AWD in bid to mimic Subaru's success

Mon, 13 Oct 2014

Acura's struggles have been well publicized. The Honda-owned luxury brand doesn't seem sure of where it's going or what it's trying to accomplish, with its cars and marketing lacking a coherent theme. Now, a new report from Automotive News claims that the brand could follow the success of Subaru and (to a lesser extent) Audi, and adopt all-wheel-drive as standard across its model range.
"I think that's the way we should go," Acura boss Koichi Fukuo told Automotive News.
Acura already offers some form of all-wheel drive on every vehicle in its line aside from the lamentable ILX sedan. That could change as Acura begins rolling out next-generation versions of its still relatively new stable of sedans and crossovers.

Subaru ups US sales projections to 500k units

Wed, 10 Sep 2014

Subaru is going absolutely gangbusters so far in 2014, with growing year-over-year sales every month this year adding to the streak of 33 consecutive months. The prognosis is so positive that the Japanese brand is revising its 2014 forecast to 500,000 vehicles or more, from a previous estimated 460,000. If it reaches the goal, it would be the first time that the automaker hit the half-million mark here.
Subaru has been growing steadily in the US for a while now. Annual sales have increased for the past five consecutive years with 2014 not indicating for that to change. For August alone, the company moved 50,246 vehicles, up 22.37 percent year-over-year, and the business proclaimed it as the best month in its history.
According to Subaru, it believes that the growth for the last two years has been fueled by the latest Forester and XV Crosstrek last year and the new Legacy and Outback this year. "The market is telling us that we are delivering products that consumers want at the right prices," said Thomas J. Doll, president and chief operating officer at Subaru of America.
