Very clean legacy gt. no damage or faults in the vehicle. All service has been done regularly and I use synthetic oil.
I have a gimmick cat back exhaust system, very nice deep sound, but not to loud. I still have the original exhaust system. I have a custom made carbon fiber front grill, the original is in a box. I installed an SPT cool air intake and still have the original air box and tubing. Vehicle can be put back to stock. No tuning required. I have the original wheels. plasti dipped black with new dunlop all season tires 10/32, and a set of drag bronze alloy wheels with a set of kuhmo solus all season tires still with 10/32. Subaru recalls 100K turbocharged models for fire risk
Thu, Oct 27 2016The Basics: Subaru is recalling a total of 100,127 turbocharged cars over a fire risk. The affected vehicles include the 2007 to 2009 Subaru Legacy and Outback, 2008 to 2014 Impreza, and 2009 to 2013 Forester. All of the cars are equipped with the 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The Problem: The turbocharged vehicles have a faulty relay that could cause the secondary air injection pump to fail. If the relay fails, the pump would work continuously, possibly overheat, and melt, increasing the risk of a fire. Injuries/Deaths: None have been reported. The Fix: Subaru dealers will replace the defective secondary air injection pump relay at no charge. If you own one: Subaru will notify affected owners to schedule a fix. Owners can also call Subaru's customer service line at 1-800-782-2783 to confirm if their vehicle is affected. Subaru confirms performance concept, XV Crosstrek Hybrid for New York
Wed, 20 Mar 2013Subaru has made quite a name for itself as automaker that caters to the outdoorsy, green-leaning set. Now it's stepping up to the plate for those customers - some might say "finally" stepping up - with its first-ever hybrid vehicle.
The Subaru XV Crosstrek Hybrid will make its official debut next week at the New York Auto Show. And although there are no details about it just yet, we do have one, typically muddy, picture of the literally and figuratively green car to show.
The XV Crosstrek Hybrid will use a Subaru-developed hybrid system paired to the automaker's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system. On the opposite end of the green scale, Subaru will also be showing off an "all-new performance concept car," which we can only hope is our first look at the next-generation WRX, or better still the WRX STI. Here's hoping.
Subaru gunning for 500,000 US sales by 2015
Fri, 20 Sep 2013For the last four years in a row, Subaru has experienced incredible sales growth including record sales of 336,441 units in 2012. This trend is all but guaranteed to continue this year with 281,652 on the books so far, but Automotive News is reporting the automaker has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.
The report says that Subaru is gunning for around 500,000 sales in the US by 2015, which doesn't seem like too far of a stretch considering 2013 sales totals are expected to top 400,000 units. Through August, Subaru's sales are up 29.3 percent compared to 2012, thanks to popular models like the Forester, Outback and, surprisingly, the WRX.
A new WRX is headed for an LA Auto Show reveal while an all-new Legacy is due out next year, and AN adds that Subaru is planning to significantly increase its media spending next year and start production of the Impreza sedan in the US in 2016.
