2010 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Premium Sedan 4-door 2.5l on 2040-cars
2010 Subaru Legacy 2.5I Premium
This car is a lease return that I purchased for commuting. I have owned it from 95k, until now and it has been flawless! I always use Mobile 1 Synthetic Oil on all my cars and change the oil every 3,000 Miles. It has had front brakes recently as well as when i purchased the car I replaced all the fluids with Mobil 1 Synthetic. I get around 35mpg on the highway and recently purchased the identical car just a year newer so I no longer need this one. This is the first year the Subaru's have the stability control which is really nice. This car is not perfect, it has normal wear and tear and a few light light hail dents as I was pulling the car into my garage. I tried my best to take pictures but they don't really show on the camera or in person, you have to really be looking for them. It also has a few door dings, but just basic wear and tear for a car with 128k miles on it. Also, there is a stain on the rear seat, there are pictures included. Overall I would say the car is in good condition, but runs flawless. This car was taken to the local Subaru Dealership for a full inspection last week, it was noted that it needed a battery, rear brakes, and air filter. I just changed all of those items as well as a fresh oil change. This car is 100% ready to go. I had it professionally detailed as well. If you have ANY questions at all feel free to send me a message and I will get you an answer as fast as I can. Car is for sale locally so if it sells I reserve the right to close the auction should it sell earlier. |

Autoblog goes on an African safari, Subaru-Style
Fri, 21 Jun 2013... And Learns To Love The Ostrich
Subaru may be the ostrich of the Japanese auto industry.
When one thinks of a safari, they naturally draw pictures in their mind's eye of wild animals, like lions, elephants and giraffes. I'm no different, and it was with visions of long telephoto lenses over vast runes and dunes that I embarked on a 19-hour plane ride from Phoenix, Arizona to Plettenberg Bay in South Africa, camera gear in tow.
Subaru looks back on record-setting WRX STI from 2011 Isle of Man
Fri, 27 Dec 2013In what we can only presume/hope is a precursor to the launch of the next-gen WRX STI, Subaru has released three videos now giving us a look back at the history of the STI-badged WRX models. In this third video, Dominick Infante, national manager of product communications at Subaru of America, got ahold of the automaker's 2011 WRX STI that broke records for the Isle of Man TT Challenge a couple of years ago.
In 2011, rally driver Mark Higgins piloted this car to a lap speed record of 115 miles per hour and a lap time record of 19:56.7 around the 37.8-mile course. The race-prepped STI, which Infante refers to as an "STI on steroids," features a beefed-up suspension, a wonderful-sounding open exhaust and the removal of the speed limiter to go with full roll cage and racing seats and harnesses.
Scroll down to see - and hear - new driving footage of this 2011 WRX STI with Infante behind the wheel as well as some race footage from 2011 - including a near-disaster Higgins averted at 150 mph. Also, be sure to check out the previous videos from Subaru for the 1998 Impreza 22B STI and a 2004 WRX STI.
Subaru Viziv GT gears up for Vision Gran Turismo action [w/video]
Wed, 19 Nov 2014Ever wonder what it would look like if Subaru made a big brother to the BRZ, maybe to take on the Nissan GT-R or Japan's Super GT series? (Well, the BRZ already competes in the GT300 class, but we're talking about the GT500 major leagues here.) Wonder no more, car fans, because it'd probably look something like this. Only it's not a road car, and it's not a racecar. It's the latest addition to the growing roster of Vision Gran Turismo concepts for GT6.
Borrowing on the design theme put forth by the Viziv concept that debuted at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show and the Viziv 2 concept showcased the following year, the Viziv GT Vision Gran Turismo is envisioned as a racing machine. Its hypothetical hybrid powertrain pairs a 2.0-liter boxer four, turbocharged and direct-injected, to a trio of high-output electric motors to deliver a claimed 591 horsepower and 593 pound-feet of torque.
Carbon fiber construction helps offset the weight of the motors and batteries to keep the hybrid racing shooting brake down to a theoretical 3,000 pounds, with competition-spec aero to keep it glued to the track. Gamers will be able to download it directly in the game as part of the latest update, but you can scope it out right here in the image gallery above and the video and press release below.
