2009 Subaru Legacy Sedan in Obsidian Black. 2.5 litre boxer motor is up to date on all service and has exclusively been serviced by Pence Subaru since 2010. The car was a rental car for a year from 2009 - 2010, then a dealer demo owned by Pence and driven by the Subaru Service manager until 19,xxx miles in late 2010. My wife and I purchased the car at 19,xxx miles and have owned it since. The car has never been in an accident. All dealer service records are available along with AutoCheck (CarFax report). The car currently has 78,000 miles and may crest 79,000 as we still drive it. (mainly highway miles/commuting on 288/295 to work and back)

Priced below the blue book value of $11,000 at 10,700 or best offer! (don't be afraid to make an offer.) If it's more than the dealer will give me for a trade in (plus eBay and Paypal fees), I'll accept it.
Paypal Deposit required after "Buy It Now" or any offer that is accepted.

Carmax recently had a 2006 for $14,600! And a 2008 for $16,900! Neither of them are as meticulously maintained as this one exclusively by the dealer! Both sold for the CarMax price!

The car has an automatic transmission and the All Wheel Drive works great in all driving conditions including snow and ice!

The car itself is one of the safest out there and looks like a sports car.
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration ratings are as follows
- Driver Front = 5 STARS!
- Passenger Front = 5 STARS!
- Front Side = 5 STARS!
- Rear Side = 5 STARS!
- Rollover = 4 STARS! (but I doubt you could roll it over as it has a low center of gravity)

- Dealer installed OEM Subaru Remote Start integrated into security system.
- Recently replaced the Starter (began to make noise and didn't want my wife to be left with a broken starter)
- New Radiator
- new tires put on around 60,000 miles. Still plenty of tread left.
- new windshield installed last month from rock chip
- Custom "temporary" GPS mount and Garmin GPS included with full asking price.

- will have the car detailed before delivery for full asking price.

- 4 Keys Plus 3  Remote Starter Key Fobs

It's pretty much the nicest car we've owned. Why sell it? We just had a baby and it's a tiny bit too small for us. We realize these cars are sought after and would make an ideal car for someone who doesn't need to put a car seat, and baby gear, and groceries, and passengers, etc in the car all at once.

Looking for a good safe car for: yourself?, your teenager? your college student? your spouse, your grandparent? THIS IS IT!

Feel free to ask me any questions. No, I will not ship this car. If you can not pick it up in Richmond, VA, or coordinate shipping, don't Buy it.

I'm not interested in an agent to sell the car for me. I'm capable of selling the car myself.

If it doesn't sell this week, It will be traded in! Act now!

Mazda MX-5 Miata goes Head 2 Head with Subaru BRZ

Wed, Aug 5 2015

It's a battle that's been in the making for some time now: the Subaru BRZ versus the Mazda MX-5 Miata. And now that the new Miata has arrived – and in Club spec to boot – that's exactly what Motor Trend has lined up for its latest episode of Head 2 Head. Now before you go screaming that one's a coupe and the other a convertible, take a few commonalities into account. Roofs aside, both feature a 2.0-liter four mounted up front, driving the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission. Both are made by Japanese automakers and cost around $25-30k, give or take. Both produce around the same amount of torque, and while the Subaru may be more powerful, the Mazda's considerably lighter. To create a more even contest, then, you'd have to line a BRZ up against a Scion FR-S, or the MX-5 against the upcoming Fiat version of the same. Of course, being that close on paper doesn't mean that it's a draw. One has to come out on top. And after taking both along country roads and the Streets of Willow racing circuit, our friends at MT have picked one over the other. You'll want to watch the 22-minute video above (or at least skip ahead to the end) to see which came out on top, but if you're as enthused by a purist driver's car as we are, you'll enjoy every minute of it. 2015 Subaru Legacy spills out ahead of Chicago

Tue, 04 Feb 2014

Subaru has been one of the industry's hottest automakers, recording record sales month after month. Those handsome figures have come largely on the backs of its crossover lineup, however - models like Forester, Outback and XV Crosstrek have been carrying all the water. The Japanese marque has seen less noteworthy performance out of its midsize sedan, the Legacy, but a new one is slated to be revealed later this week at the Chicago Auto Show, and it hopes to improve the company's family sedan fortunes.
Leaked here in these first photos, the 2015 Legacy picks up some cues from the brash Legacy Concept revealed at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, but it loses some impact and gains a pair of rear doors versus the showcar. There's little new visual ground broken, but the overall look is more harmonious than its balloon-fendered predecessor. As is often the case, it has features that make us think of other cars, but overall, it looks to be a handsome (if conservative) design. We particularly like the sleeker roofline and the bold front grille treatment - the latter will likely serve well as the face of the next Outback.
Subaru has traditionally offered function-over-form interiors, and while the new dashboard remains visually staid, it looks to have picked up a number of nice new features, including improved HVAC controls, a new steering wheel and freshened touchscreen navigation system.

Daily Driver: Long-Term 2015 Subaru WRX

Tue, Feb 3 2015

In successive weeks the middle west and eastern coast of our country were blanketed in snow. Thankfully for my fellow Michigan-based Autoblog editors and I, our long-term 2015 Subaru WRX was fitted with Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D tires before the first flake even fell. I stole the keys and ran out of the office was loaned the WRX for a week recently, and made good use of a sunny Saturday to take the car out for a proper, winding road drive. In the video you see here, I happened to have great weather and dry roads for the test, but rest assured that it had been snowy and gross up to that point. We're going to have lots more to say about our gold-footed 'Rex before we give it back, but in the meantime believe me when I say that the car is well-sorted for the worst that Winter '15 will throw at it.
