Up for your consideration and review is my 2013 Subaru WRX all wheel drive turbo.  Car is a lot of fun to drive.  I am selling this car because I don't get a chance to drive it much any more.  It just sits in the garage next to my Cadillac that I also don't get to drive much any more.  The Cadillac is also for sale in a separate auction.  The car only has 10,500 miles on it.  Adult owned.  Driven spiritedly but never abused.  Garage kept.  Currently has an expensive aftermarket sound system.  Audiophile Pioneer head unit with true 5volt output, MBQuart German made speakers(four 6 1/2" drivers, four tweeters), JL Audio W7 with JL Audio Amplifiers, and 1 1/2 ferrite capacitor.  The system is NOT included with the sale of the vehicle, unless you want to purchase it for an additional $2500 over the winning bid, which is a fraction of what it cost me to have it installed.  I lit the rear hatch up neon blue lights, and those lights can stay if you wish.

If you are looking at this auction, then most likely you know what makes this car special.  It has earned a cult following for a reason.  This 2013 is the last year for the cool 5 door body style.  I realize that is a subjective opinion, but the new style just hasn't grown on me yet, and you can't get a new one in the 5dr iteration.  Only sedan.  The dark gray metallic with matching wheels, combined with medium tinted windows, makes for a cool mean look. Plenty of aftermarket fun to have with this car.  You can really juice it up if you have the time and money.

I will do my best to answer any questions in a timely fashion.  Please check out my other auctions, and thank you for looking.

Subaru gives Aussies BRZ Sports Pack

Mon, 08 Jul 2013

Well, it might not be exactly the Subaru BRZ STI that we've all been waiting for, but Australian market shoppers are now going to have the option of adding some STI flavor to their coupe, with this new BRZ S.
Critically, the Sports Pack upgrades included in the S specification do not involve forced induction of any kind for the BRZ's 2.0-liter flat-four mill. Instead, the BRZ S will offer a novel flexible strut tower brace and a coilover suspension to aid its already impressive handling prowess. Visually, the car gets a new aero kit with lowered skirts and a new front and rear splitter, as well as some mean-looking, 17-inch black wheels. Inside, a new gearlever and a STI-branded starter button will call out the S model.
The S package can be ordered on a new BRZ and fitted at the dealer, or added to an existing customer car. When ordered new, the BRZ S adds $7,995 Australian - about $7,275 US including installation - to the price of the six-speed manual car, or $7,195 Australian ($6,547 US) for the six-speed automatic transmission model. That's a pretty fat wedge of cash, but it's worth bearing in mind that Australians generally pay significantly more for new cars than we do here in the States. For instance, the BRZ starts at $37,150 Australian, nearly $34k US. Even accounting for regional equipment differences, that's a lot more than the BRZ's $26,265 as-delivered base MSRP here in America.

Subaru teasing STI surprise for NYC show?

Mon, 14 Apr 2014

Subaru is no stranger to the Special Edition car, least of all where its vaunted WRX and STI are concerned. From Spec C to Prodrive to 22B, more than a handful of STI's around the world have been released as limited-run editions, often with stirring results. So, while we were more than a little bit surprised to see that big-wing crop up on the Subaru Twitter page today, we can't say as though its not true to the brand's history.
However, while most of the interesting WRX STI variants have been offered to Europe and Japan only, whatever is wearing that carbon-fiber-lipped wing is set to debut at the New York Auto Show this week.
We don't have a clue as to the precise nature of the car in front of that wing, save to say that it's likely based on the STI. We can guess, however that the extra vertical supports and the use of carbon fiber indicate a higher-performance version than currently exists. Anything from a racing application to some new goodies for the aftermarket are in the realm of possibility.

Subaru to showcase five customized Levorg concepts at Tokyo Auto Salon

Sun, 22 Dec 2013

Last month, Subaru unveiled the Levorg concept at the Tokyo Motor Show, previewing what could be the next Legacy wagon. But that's not the end of the story for the concept car.
With the Tokyo Auto Salon - Japan's equivalent to SEMA - approaching next month, Fuji Heavy has announced five customized versions of the Levorg. One is being prepared by Subaru itself with a focus on luxury (including new alloy wheels and a burgundy interior), one by Subaru Tecnica International (with strut brace and aero kit) and one each by aftermarket Subaru tuners Corazon, Syms and Prova.
Subaru will also display a pair of racecars based on the BRZ: the Super GT300 version we've already seen and a new STI NBR Challenge racer aimed at the Nürburgring 24 Hours. Details in the press release below.
