2012 Subaru Impreza Sport Premium - Silver - Manual Transmision on 2040-cars
San Francisco, California, United States
Hi, my name is Eric and thanks for checking out car web page. I purchased this car new in July of 2012 from the dealership. I love this Impreza, and that's why I refuse to allow it to become 'city-fied' . I m moving to downtown San Francisco and unfortunately it just doesn't make sense for me to have a car. A quick reminder: Because this is a private sell, you don't pay beyond the price we agree on. When purchasing this car from dealer I paid in excess of $3000 in taxes and fees Features:Car is 100% Subaru stock. Aside from the Standard Equipment, Optional Equipment applied to vehicle at dealership are as follows:
Additions outside of Subaru:
Condition:Overall the car is in excellent condition. Mechanically, it is like new. I'm a very light driver and most miles are freeway as I used it mainly for weekend getaways. The body looks fantastic, although it does have the usual suspects, being minor dings from normal wear and tear. Tires are barley worn and brakes are like new. Maintenance:Was performed as directed by Subaru maintenance schedule. This baby is in tip top! The following services were performed at Subaru dealer:
Factory Warranty:Included is a 7 year / 70,000 mile Gold Plus warranty with Roadside Assistance. The transfer requirements state that the transfer must be completed within 20 days of sale. I'll work with you to make sure this happens. |

Subaru reveals coupe-like 2015 Legacy Concept ahead of LA show
Thu, 14 Nov 2013Subaru has pulled the covers off its 2015 Legacy Concept before the car's debut at the LA Auto Show next week. The sedan trades in its relatively staid styling for a more aggressive, coupe-like design that almost makes us forget about the rear doors from some angles. Overall, the Legacy looks beefier than your average Subaru, similar to the Ford Taurus.
The concept's character line stretches all the way back to a small trunk, which helps the car achieve its coupe-like appearance. But the front end makes the biggest impression, with "hawk-eye" headlamps and a gaping hexagonal grille with three horizontal slats. The taillights have a shape similar to the headlamps to "enhance the solidity of the overall design," Subaru says.
Custom paint called Ocean Silver Metallic adorns the concept, which sports 21-inch wheels under bulging wheel arches that Subaru says hints at the standard all-wheel-drive system (the BRZ is the only two-wheel-drive Subie).
Subaru puts China production on hold amidst slowing growth
Thu, Jan 22 2015Subaru's 2015 sales and production forecast estimates the Japanese brand to sell about 60,000 vehicles in China this year, a 10 percent rise. However, a recent decision not to build a factory there might make future growth more difficult. Given the changing state of the market, the automaker doesn't seem concerned by the potentially lost sales. According to Bloomberg, even if the Chinese government gave permission for Subaru to build its planned joint venture factory with Chery, the Japanese brand would not take advantage of it. "Since the profits are split with your partner, you would have to double the sales to maintain the profits you earn by exporting from Japan," said Akira Mabuchi, the company's executive in charge of China, according to Bloomberg. Subaru is in the odd position of being the only major Japanese automaker without a joint venture partner to build cars in China, but the massive year-over-year growth there seems to be slowing. Auto sales in China were up 6.9 percent in 2014, according to Bloomberg, compared to 14 percent in 2013. Also, Chinese consumers have been famously averse to buying Japanese vehicles with only half of the consumers there even willing to purchase one. Instead, the company is focusing on the US market, according to Bloomberg. The decision makes sense. While Subie's sales in China shrunk 2 percent in 2014 to about 55,000 vehicles, the company grew 21 percent in the US to 514,000 units. The automaker already has plans to add capacity to its factory in Indiana. News Source: BloombergImage Credit: Jae C. Hong / AP Photo Plants/Manufacturing Subaru
