Hi, my name is Eric and thanks for checking out car web page. I purchased this car new in July of 2012 from the dealership. I love this Impreza, and that's why I refuse to allow it to become 'city-fied' . I m moving to downtown San Francisco and unfortunately it just doesn't make sense for me to have a car. A quick reminder: Because this is a private sell, you don't pay beyond the price we agree on. When purchasing this car from dealer I paid in excess of $3000 in taxes and fees Features:Car is 100% Subaru stock. Condition:Overall the car is in excellent condition. Mechanically, it is like new. I'm a very light driver and most miles are freeway as I used it mainly for weekend getaways. The body looks fantastic, although it does have the usual suspects, being minor dings from normal wear and tear. Tires are barley worn and brakes are like new. Maintenance:Was performed as directed by Subaru maintenance schedule. This baby is in tip top! The following services were performed at Subaru dealer:
Factory Warranty:Included is a 7 year / 70,000 mile Gold Plus warranty with Roadside Assistance. The transfer requirements state that the transfer must be completed within 20 days of sale. I'll work with you to make sure this happens. |

2015 Subaru WRX: July/August 2014
Wed, 13 Aug 2014Literally minutes after snapping the photo you see above, I was soaked - hit by the third round of storms that brought absolutely insane rainfall to Detroit this week. Amateur mistake, right there; if it looks like rain's a-comin', it's a-comin'. So if you're going to take pictures of the car, do it before it's too late.
But the thing is, I was having way too much fun driving around the suddenly empty streets of Detroit to worry about handling my photo shoot in a timely manner. Folks had been cautioned to stay off the roads ever since the rain first hit. Floods had shut down several of our major freeways, not to mention many surface streets. The threat of more severe weather had put caution in the air, forcing folks to batten down the hatches and settle in for even more horrendously wet weather.
The long-term 2015 Subaru WRX, however, eats this stuff up with a passion. Inclement weather? The turbocharged, all-wheel-drive, endlessly grippy Subaru just wants to play. And after getting to know our WR Blue WRX since its delivery in June and solidifying my belief that it's a total riot, even around town, I was not about to ignore Rex's desires to go play in the rain and make mischief on the deserted streets. Empty on-ramp antics were great fun, and tossing the car around corners in the wet showed no signs of slip. Ever. Wet hair and a damp t-shirt? Worth it.
This Irishman really likes the Toyota GT86
Sun, 10 Feb 2013Okay, okay - by this point in time just liking the Toyota GT86 (Scion FR-S, Subaru BRZ, what have you) doesn't make you special. Even if you're a sort of funny sounding, funny looking Irishman, who probably isn't the most seasoned car reviewer ever, digging the GT86 is not news.
However, if, when you choose to publish your ten-minute-long review, you include exclamatory phrases about your own pubic hair, Ozzy Osborne's drug habit and "gentleman vegetable stuff," well sir, then you'll have our attention.
Don't give up on this video, available down below, after the first couple of minutes, we implore you. The silver-tongued Irishman doesn't really get warmed up until four minutes in, or so. Believe us, it's worth the wait.
Drive looks at a pair of STI-ified Subaru Impreza RS Coupes
Tue, 15 Oct 2013Among tuners, the legions of Subaru fans are hard to top, displaying all the fanaticism of English soccer fans and a dedication to their vehicles that borders on obsessive. These are compliments, by the way. In the latest video from Drive, Matt Farah takes a look at a pair of very special Imprezas - early Impreza 2.5RS Coupes that have had some serious heart transplants.
The first, a traditional blue model, sports the 2.5-liter, turbocharged flat-four from the 2004 WRX STI, which is good for around 300 horsepower. The other Impreza is a bit more hardcore - the engine is a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder from the JDM WRX STI, which we suppose makes it more of an Impreza 2.0RS Coupe. Besides the different engines, both cars represent the unique ideas and style of their owners.
