2011 Subaru Impreza Wrx Premium Sedan 4-door 2.5l on 2040-cars
Hatfield, Pennsylvania, United States
I have an extremely clean 2011 Subaru Impreza WRX (46,800 miles, currently). If anyone is interested, let me know. I drive to work Monday-Friday(22 miles round-trip). In terms of pricing, I am open to offers. Please no low balling.
I am the second owner and I bought this car on Eibach springs. It is about an inch lowered, which really makes your driving experience a lot more fun. The car also has Hella horns and a front lip. the car is tinted, but not to a point where it's dangerous. The pads on the front is about 7 and the rear is about 8-9. The car is perfectly aligned. Inspection is done. Oil change is done. You literally have to do nothing. Unfortunately, there is a small rip in the tint on the rear left, but I bought the car like that, just never had the time to fix it. If you need the vin, just message me and I will be more than happy to give it to you. I have brand new summer tires that have been on the car for around 600-800 miles only. They are Cooper Zeon RS3-S. I also have winter tires with separate wheels, from the older generation WRX. I also have the stock tires that came with the car, which have little life left. Car has been in no accidents, ever. I have attached pictures of my car AND a thorough oil analysis done by Blackstone. Blackstone is a very reputable company that does detailed analysis on your oil to tell you how your engine is. As you can see from the report, the car has NEVER been abused and well maintained. All oil changes, inspection and etc has been done at the Subaru Dealership. |

NHTSA releases updated Takata airbag recalled cars list, but it still has errors
Wed, 22 Oct 2014
Unfortunately, the government's list still contains errors.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued an updated list of vehicle models that it's urging owners to repair under the mushrooming Takata airbag inflator recall. The latest version adds vehicles from new automakers like Subaru and Ford that are missing from the original announcement, and it also removes erroneous entries from General Motors, leaving only the 2005 Saab 9-2X (a reskinned Subaru WRX), and the 2003-2005 Pontiac Vibe, a joint project with Toyota.
2017 Subaru BRZ First Drive
Fri, Jul 8 2016When the Subaru BRZ debuted in 2012, it was heralded as a return to the traditional Japanese sport coupe formula – a compact, lightweight, rear-wheel-drive runabout that hearkened back to greats like the original Toyota Celica, Mazda's RX-3, and the Nissan 240SX. Japan is covered in mountains, and that's where its enthusiasts honed their hooning. Cars that emphasize handling, not horsepower, make the most sense there. Now, five years on, Subaru is using the model's first facelift to further differentiate it from its Toyota cousin. The BRZ is Subaru's ultimate vision of a sophisticated driver's car, more string-backed gloves than flat-brimmed hat. To prove the point, Subaru invited us to drive the refreshed 2017 specimen, along with 2016 models for comparison, at Japan's legendary Fuji Speedway. The BRZ's revised styling makes the distinction painfully clear right off the bat. It now sports a squarer jawline, with a chin described by senior designer Yuki Kumono as aircraft-inspired. LED DRLs are embedded in the new headlamps, moved up from the space they once shared with fog lights. A side note for Subaru fans: The C-shaped DRLs are called "hawkeyes" internally, which is sure to cause confusion among Subarists who have already given that name to the 2006–07 Impreza WRX and STI. Freshened taillights and a reshaped spoiler update the badonk, and the Subie has new fender inserts. Styling is of course a subjective matter, but anyone who says the sea-creature maw of the post-Scion 2017 Toyota 86 is better looking is clearly wrong. Ultimately, though, the question on everybody's minds is, "Does the BRZ have any more danged power?" The answer to that is yes, technically, but only on certain cars. The 2.0-liter boxer four makes five more horsepower and five more pound-feet of torque only on manual-transmission cars. That brings the totals to 205 hp and 156 lb-ft. Cries for a turbocharger have gone stubbornly unanswered. In typical Japanese fashion, it's not the numbers that matter. Subaru has focused instead on the overall driving feel, that elusive metric that can't be expressed on a spec sheet or through the frothing internet comments of armchair racers. Subaru's engineers, some of whom are trained as the company's expert test drivers, have toiled away at a host of improvements for the base Premium trim, the upper Limited grade, and a new Performance Package that's available on top of the latter.
'Baby Driver' stunt Impreza WRX sells for nearly $70,000
Sun, Aug 27 2017Well that escalated quickly. When we reported that the 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX used for driving stunts in the movie Baby Driver was being auctioned on eBay, bidding had taken the car up to over $40,000. Now the car has sold, and the price rocketed up to $69,100, and there were 71 bids on the car when it sold. That may seem like a large sum of money for a banged up Impreza WRX with a few prior wrecks. But the price starts to make sense considering how unique the car is. Besides starring in a great movie with superb stunts, it's one of the few WRXs out there converted to rear-wheel drive. As stunt driver Jeremy Fry told us, this was done to make it easier to perform some of the stunts. This Impreza isn't the only Baby Driver movie car to sell, either. The same Subaru parts and car dealer selling the WRX was also selling a wrecked, but drivable, Dodge Charger police car. That one didn't attract nearly as much attention though. It sold for the same $3,000 bid we saw when we reported on the cars. It was one of only two bids. Related Video: This content is hosted by a third party.
