Up for sale is a 2005 Subaru Impreza WRX STI with only 60K miles!! This vehicle is lightly modified, with a FMIC, and a turboXS controller. Car is pushing a little over 300hp on the wheel, and running very strong. The most important for a Subaru, It DOES NOT have a check engine light, it will pass the emission with no problem. The exterior of the vehicle is a 9/10 condition, with no dent, ding or rust at all. The only bad part is the headlight, both of them are a little fogged up, as I show it in the photo also. Interior is stock STI seat, and no wear or tear, and I will rate it a 9/10 also. Although it still function, but the vehicle might need a new rear suspension if you plan to drive it hard all the time. It comes with a set of 17 inch Rota rims, which also included in the photo. It also comes with a pioneer DVD player AVIC-D2, that player mp3, CD and DVD. It has 2 remotes, and 3 keys, just like when you drive the vehicle out brand new from Subaru dealer. For a 8 year old car, you are going to love it, and I am listing it for the price to sell. I recently purchased a 2000 2 door 2.5rs and looking to do a full STI swap, so my vehicle is currently located in a dealer for better sale. If you have any question, please text me @6462702670. Text only. Please don't waste my time if you are not ready to buy. Thank you for looking

Junkyard Gem: 1992 Subaru SVX
Wed, Jul 20 2016Subaru is doing quite well these days with its formula of selling a combination of sensible pavement-optional commuters and rally-inspired performance cars, but go back a quarter-century or so and many of the cars with the Pleiades badges were known more for futuristic jet-fighter-style cockpits and weird gadgetry. This philosophy reached its peak with the brilliant, bizarre Subaru SVX, sold in North America for the 1992 through 1995 model years. Here's a well-preserved purple SVX I spotted a few days ago in a Denver self-service yard. Just look at the side glass! It's impossible to not love the way this car looks. The design of the SVX's exterior was the creation of Giorgetto Giugiaro. The SVX had a DOHC flat-six displacing 3.3 liters, the largest street engine Subaru had built up to that point. It made 231 horsepower, which was respectable for the era. Unfortunately, Subaru didn't have a manual transmission that could handle that kind of engine power, so every SVX came with a four-speed automatic... which (in addition to being way less fun than a manual) also couldn't handle the EG33's output. For this reason, you see SVXs in fairly decent condition at junkyards all the time; a good-running, clean example is worth good money, but one with a bad transmission is worth its weight in scrap. Subaru Legacy pitted against Roadkill project cars
Fri, 05 Sep 2014There's an evergreen debate among auto enthusiasts about whether they would prefer to have the latest and greatest car of today or a certified classic from yesteryear. What if you had to further define that, though, and the choice was between a brand new 2015 Subaru Legacy or a turbocharged Datsun 240Z with a hatch that wouldn't close? Roadkill aimed to find out that and more in one of its best videos to date.
According to the hosts, Subaru came to them, handed over some money and challenged Roadkill's project cars against its latest Legacy. The result is every bit as good (or better) than any automotive-themed show you could find on television.
Things start simple with a figure-eight race in a rodeo arena with the Subaru taking on Roadkill's 1968 Ford Ranchero, originally built for ice racing. From there the Legacy races a 1968 Dodge Charger with no windows around and off-road rally stage. Finally, the Subie goes head-to-head against the Rotsun, the aforementioned turbocharged 240Z, through an abandoned neighborhood. Plus, there's a bonus drag race challenging them all.
2015 Subaru WRX gets down and dirty
Fri, 13 Dec 2013Looks rarely tell the whole story. We'll admit to being a bit let down by the Subaru WRX and its rather conservative appearance - where were the gold wheels and the spoilers? Hatchback? World Rally Blue? But after seeing it in this video and hearing that signature, throaty growl while this red example drifts and slides around dirt roads, we're starting to get more excited.
While the growl is the main reason for watching the clip below (you should do that now), Subaru has also thrown in some information about the improved suspension, and increased power. Learn along with us, below.
