Hi to all looking at this posting and thank you for your time. I have decided to list my 2004 Subaru STI for sale, but first let me try to explain the history and situation of the vehicle. The car is located in colorado in the colorado springs area. I took it back home to my parents in 2012 and since then it has been parked in the garage the whole time. I live in california and have not been back to colorado since 2012. My dad who lives in colorado and works in california goes back and forth and starts it every now and then when he is back in colorado, however it has not been started since january I believe. Due to him having trouble turning the alarm off because I accidently dropped something on the clicker to deactivate the alarm so it must be done manually until the clicker can be replaced. Whenever it was started I was told it fired right up instantly and ran good. There has been a fuel additive put into the gas. Most of the rear of the car was repainted by a professional body shop due to someone keying it a long time ago. They did a perfect job and it looks very good job on it. I was going to have the whole front of it repainted by the same place but decided to sell it. It has normal knicks on it in the front from normal driving.

This is what has been done to the car,

I purchased a axis port for it several years ago along with a downpipe.
It has a Perrin cat back exhaust.
It has all new radiator hoses as you can see that were installed by the dealer when the previous owner had the vehicle due to one of them leaking. It was under warranty at the time.
It has a Intake as you can see in the pic.
It has blue underglows that were installed by the previous owner and it has a sub woofer in the trunk along with new speakers. All done by the previous owner.
I had put new tires on it when I was living in arizona but I cant remember what the last condition of them were.
I had a new clutch installed also it is a aftermarket clutch that is pretty grippy, it sometimes however makes a chattering sound when the car is in neutral and the clutch is released. but then goes away when you depress the clutch. I took it in back in and they said it was "normal for that clutch", it shifts perfect and gave me no problems so I never really pursued it.

The car WONT pass Smog due to it having the axis port tune on it and the down pipe, which is why I don't have it out here currently. I was told the ac blows cold and functions fine still. This car always ran good for me and never really gave me any problems. If this car sells I will have to arrange something where I will drive back so I will be present at the time of the sale and possibly put a new battery in it and make sure everything is good with it.  I have the title in hand, it is a Arizona title but has my colorado address on it. That is how the dmv wanted to do it at the time when I was registering it for colorado. I believe the car has around 79- 80 thousand miles on it, I cant remember the exact number. And im not sure if the battery is still charged to check. The interior from what I remember was in good condition and I cant really remember anything out of the ordinary, the driver seat has some wear on it from normal use. I had the gauge pillar wired up when I was in Arizona its just some basic gauges, it was in there when I purchased the car but never was wired up. I will say that they are very cheap and bounce around a lot. I would just have it taken out.

I will be more than happy to answer any questions and I will update this post if I can think of anything else that I have done or has been done to this car. Im not trying to leave anything out and will do whatever I can to be of assistance to anyone. Thanks for looking please ask questions if you have any.

Here is the current KBB on the vehicle.

2019 Subaru Ascent vs. 2018 Mazda CX-9: Driving two class leaders side-by-side

Wed, May 23 2018

As the de facto replacement for the family sedan, we expect a lot out of modern crossovers. They need to excel at family-hauling duties while delivering reasonable performance and fuel economy. They have to offer all-wheel drive and the latest safety technology. They ought to be ruggedly handsome, and they can't be so prohibitively expensive that the families they are targeting can't afford them. It's a tall order, and some automakers have hit closer to the proverbial bullseye than others. By some stroke of luck, we managed to snag a 2018 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring as our chariot to take the four-hour drive from Seattle to McMinnville, Ore., where we got our first drive of the 2019 Subaru Ascent. As one of our favorite vehicles in this class, the CX-9 would serve as a good comparison to the Ascent. And, on paper, the similarities are abundant: Both come from automakers with a clear, go-your-own-way approach to vehicle engineering, are powered by turbocharged four-cylinder engines, and offer three rows of seating in a relatively compact package. Put simply, we expect the Ascent and CX-9 to be cross-shopped by a lot of new-car buyers looking for a new family car. What we found is that the CX-9 is the better choice for the buyer who values a sporty driving experience above all else, while the Ascent is probably better for families looking for a healthier dose of practicality. Either option will ably serve the suburban American family they are targeting, but the ways they go about that life of servitude are quite different. It's worth noting that pretty much every automaker in America is selling a vehicle in this class, which means there are a heck of a lot of vehicles from which to choose. For a few other options, check out this spec-sheet comparison here, and for anything else, be sure to visit the handy Autoblog compare tool. With that out of the way, let's break it down a bit more granularly. Styling: View 36 Photos Looks-wise, we prefer the Mazda. A crossover is going to be generally box-shaped, but that doesn't mean it has to be boring. The CX-9's bodywork flows gracefully from nose to tail, with just the right amount of flashiness in the form of headlights that take the form of cat-like eyes, a five-point grille surrounded in chrome, and gently arcing bodyside lines. It all works to form what we think is the most attractive midsize crossover overall. We don't hate the Subaru Ascent's looks, but it's definitely more boring than the CX-9.

Sunday Drive: The future looks bright, and the present ain't bad, either

A look at the week that just passed proves that Autoblog readers love looking into the future. Spy photos of the next Porsche 911 and a mysterious Dodge Demon prototype led the way last week as some of our most popular stories. A teaser from Subaru has our appetites whetted for the next WRX, and we're intrigued by the value proposition offered by the rear-wheel-drive Kia Stinger. Long-distance motorcycle tourers went gaga over leaked images of the next Honda Gold Wing. Such intense interest comes as no surprise considering that it's the standard by which all its competitors are judged, and it looks to be getting some serious new technology in its next iteration. And finally, we can't help tooting our own horn a bit. Autoblog just launched a brand-new Car Finder tool, which, after getting a few data points to work with, offers up a perfect list of vehicles for new-car buyers. As always, tune in to Autoblog next week for a front-row seat to all the happenings worth following in the automotive industry. 2019 Porsche 911 to get digital interior — only the tach will be analog Spy Shots: What the devil is Dodge up to with this narrow-body Challenger Demon? Subaru will reveal the Ascent 3-row crossover at the L.A. Auto Show

Tue, Nov 14 2017

After about a year of concepts and spy photos, we finally know when we'll see the Subaru Ascent, the company's upcoming three-row crossover. Subaru announced on Twitter that the Ascent will make its debut on November 28 at this year's L.A. Auto Show. The announcement came with a teaser image, shown above, revealing the badge, rear taillight, and part of the bumper. We can tell that the Ascent will have a pretty upright hatch, and the rear bumper looks suitably "tough" with a brushed aluminum sill and black plastic cladding. View 17 Photos But really, we know quite a bit about what the crossover will look like, since we've seen two concepts, the Viziv-7 and Ascent Concept. Each was a progressively more conservative imagining of what the production model would be like. The basics involved a generally boxy shape with chiseled, exaggerated fenders, much like every other production Subaru. The Ascent Concept also previewed a possible powertrain for the vehicle, a turbocharged 2.4-liter flat-4. View 9 Photos We've also had a good look at the production version in some recent spy shots showing a nearly production-ready Ascent wrapped in just vinyl camouflage. Some of the more extreme lines have been further toned down compared with the concepts. But the theme of it being a bigger, boxier Subaru stuck around. In fact, it looks very much like a puffed up Outback, with which the Ascent will share a factory in Lafayette, Ind. Related Video:
