2004 Subaru Impreza Rs Sedan 4-door 2.5l on 2040-cars
Hopkins, Minnesota, United States
Selling a 2004 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS AWD Sedan that is a manual transmission. I have been the sole owner of the vehicle and have taken care of it very well. The title is also clear.
It has gotten the oil changes when needed (every 3000-3500 miles) and maintenance repairs done when needed. The vehicle has had its water pump, timing belts, and exhaust heat shields replaced. The brakes and rotors have been repaired several times when needed. As mentioned, the vehicle has been well maintained and I will be moving to an area where I will not need my car anymore. It has about 92K on it. I have purchased a set of Nokian WR G2 all-season tires for the car and it has very good grip in winter conditions and I have never gotten stuck in the snow before. The tires still have over 6/32" left and are in good condition. This car is amazing in the winters here in Minnesota. The interior of the vehicle is in very good condition. I do not smoke and have kept the interior very clean. The floor mats in the front may have some imperfections from the salt in the winters. The exterior of the vehicle is where I've had less control. There are a few scratches and dents from unknown parking lot offenders. The rear bumper has scratches on both the drivers and passengers side of the vehicle. The dents on the doors are very small and not noticeable unless you are intentionally looking for it. The front bumper of the vehicle also has scratches on the bumper on both drivers and passenger sides. Again these came from people in the parking lots scraping against my car when I am not present. The windshield has a few chips in it but has been changed once before. The driver's side door had seen an impact that compromised the intrusion bar, therefore the driver's side door has been replaced with a new door. I will not ship the vehicle, I will only deliver the vehicle locally within the metro area of the Twin Cities. Please feel free to reach out and let me know of any questions. |

2015 Subaru Outback priced at $24,895*
Thu, 05 Jun 2014Just a few weeks after announcing the pricing for the 2015 Legacy sedan, Subaru is getting ready to roll out the all-new 2015 Outback with a base price $24,895, plus an $850 destination charge. Like its platform-mate, the styling could be described as an evolution of the previous generation, but the company claims big changes underneath to improve comfort. It's scheduled to starting hitting dealers this summer.
The Outback continues to share most of its mechanical bits with the Legacy, including its engines. The 2.5-liter boxer-four-cylinder gets a touch more potent with 175 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque, and better fuel economy at 25 miles per gallon city, 33 highway and 28 combined. The 3.6-liter flat-six-engine has 256 hp and 247 lb-ft and also sees a marginal economy improvement at 20/27/22. All models now come standard with a CVT, and Subaru's Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive gets some improvements with standard Hill Descent Control, Hill Start Assist, Active Torque Vectoring and X-Mode, a system to increase traction when needed.
The base 2.5i trim goes for $25,745 (all prices after destination), up $425 from last year's CVT base model. It comes standard with a 6.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a USB port and AUX input. The 2.5i Premium trim retails at $27,845, but the upgrade nets buyers dual climate zones, a 10-way power driver's seat, leather-wrapped steering wheel, all-weather package and a 7-inch infotainment system. The 2.5i Limited costs $30,845 and includes leather upholstery, 18-inch wheels, a 12-speaker stereo, heated rear seats, lane change assist, rear cross traffic alert and a power tailgate. The top The 3.6R Limited trim is $33,845 and in addition to the bigger engine features HID low-beam headlights and stainless steel dual exhaust tips.
Subaru will cap sales, introduce US-only SUV and PHEV
Wed, Nov 4 2015With Subaru's meteoric growth over the past few years, it seems like the company would double down on the success and expand. However, the Japanese brand has announced that it will take the opposite approach. Rather than continually increasing global deliveries, the automaker will instead cap annual volume to between 1.03 million and 1.1 million units, according to Automotive News. While the strategy will keep Subaru's niche status, the brand's lineup certainly won't stagnate. After abundant rumors, a US-only, seven-seat crossover will eventually be assembled in Indiana, and Impreza production will reportedly move there in 2016. In addition, the company will launch a plug-in hybrid around 2018, but it'll only be sold where necessary to meet zero-emissions requirements. While the Japanese brand is widely known for crossovers and wagons, Subaru isn't forgetting its performance fans, either. Fuji Heavy Industries President Yasuyuki Yoshinaga confirmed yet again that a second-gen BRZ is under development. "We have already agreed with Toyota we will do a full model change. We have not decided when it will be introduced," he said to Automotive News. Subaru has been considering whether to grow for years, but the planning eventually favored maximizing the current factories. For example, Subaru decided not to build a plant in China but has chosen to boost capacity at the line in Lafayette, IN. Yoshinaga sees the strategy as a way to maintain the brand's soul. "Many companies try to be bigger or sell more vehicles. If Subaru does the same thing, we will lose our characteristics," he said to Automotive News. Related Video:
Nissan exec Andy Palmer derides Toyobaru coupes as 'midlife crisis' cars
Mon, 28 Oct 2013Andy Palmer, Nissan's executive vice president, does not like the Scion FR-S or Subaru BRZ. To us, that's like saying you enjoy barbecuing puppies, but we'll let him slide, because his statements about the Toyobaru twins are much, much more than just idle trash talk.
Speaking to Motor Trend's Nate Martinez, Palmer said, "Do we have any competitors [in the small, rear-drive coupe segment]? Are you talking about the Subaru [BRZ]? It was a car designed for a 50-year-old. It's for a midlife crisis. That's not what we do." Strong words, but what followed was even better.
"Are you coming to the Tokyo Motor Show? You'll see the answer to the midlife crisis. Except it won't be for the midlife crisis." So, if you were wondering whether Nissan is working on a competitor to the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ, the answer seems to be a resounding "yes."
