It is a clean vehicle with automatic transmission, air-conditioning, power brakes/power steering, AM/FM radio, roof rack with crossbars, front/side/passenger airbags. Includes a trailer hitch with 1.25/2 inch receiver- used for bicycle rack (not towing). New tires times 4 – less than 1000 miles. The oil was changed by myself every 3000 miles – synthetic oil. Excellent mechanical condition. Minor scuffs, scratches, dings consistent with age and all highlighted in available photos. 29 miles per gallon. Yakima rocket box available for an extra $200. Subaru WRX STI gets all gymkhana slidey in new European ad
Fri, 18 Jul 2014A good partner makes sacrifices for a significant other. They aren't always fun, but sometimes chores have to be done. Subaru's European ad for its new WRX STI clearly understands that dynamic, as it shows what to what lengths a guy is willing to go in order to get his lady some bread in time for breakfast. Of course, running errands in a turbocharged, all-wheel-drive sports sedan down picturesque roads is hardly drudgery.
The wordless ad for the WRX STI says everything you could ever want to know about the winged blue Subaru. It expertly mixes some fantastic gravel rally footage with just a bit of inspiration from Ken Block's Gymkhana videos, as well. The automaker makes the right choice of actually letting the audience hear the growly exhaust and squealing tires over the music, too.

2015 Subaru WRX STI headed for Detroit, more WRX details leaked
Fri, 15 Nov 2013The debuts of the 2015 Subaru WRX and the Legacy Concept at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week are kind of hogging the Subaru spotlight, making it easy to forget that there is a more potent, more aggressive version of the small sedan waiting in the wings. And based on a rumor from Australia, we'll see the sportier WRX STI at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
The report comes from Motoring in Australia, which claims that a more potent version of the WRX will make its debut in the Motor City, and that it will do so with an even 300 horsepower (five fewer than the current STI) and 290 pound-feet of torque (identical to the current car). Aside from the more potent 2.5-liter turbocharged flat four, the STI should boast the regular spread of aesthetic upgrades and suspension, brake, chassis and transmission tweaks.
The standard all-wheel-drive WRX will sprint to 60 mph in 5.4 seconds.
