1999 Subaru Forester S Wagon 4-door 2.5l - Engine Runs Great - No Reserve!!!!!!! on 2040-cars
Jeffersonville, Indiana, United States
Happy New Year!!! No Reserve!!! Highest Bidder Wins!!! I have a 1999 Subaru Forester all wheel drive car with 158,000 miles. I have driven this vehicle as my daily driver for the last two years. About 2 months ago the transmission started acting like it did not want to grab in first gear. Once you gave it gas and got it to grab after you started it, it was fine the rest of the trip. I purchased a newer vehicle and let my son drive the Subaru to work and school. Two weeks ago he brought it home and the right rear wheel bearing was bad. Due to this, the vehicle will need to be towed home to the new owner. I don't want to spend the time or money to repair this vehicle which is why it is listed as a no reserve auction on Ebay. This vehicle is listed with no reserve, payment within 24 hours, and pick up within 3 days. Of course I am not offering any type of warranty with this used vehicle. This is as/is with a clear Indiana title. The Good: * Engine Runs Great * Heated Seats * Power Windows & Locks * Paint, body, and interior great for a '99 The Bad: * Have to give it a little gas for the transmission to grab in first gear when starting off * Right rear wheel bearing is bad and needs replaced * Right rear tire needs replaced due to rubbing caused by bearing that is bad * Brakes pads need replaced * Needs towed to new owner due to right rear wheel bearing Thank you, good luck, and Happy Bidding! |

Subaru readying special-edition BRZ
Fri, 14 Feb 2014Another week coming to a close brings another rumor of a potential hotted-up version of the Subaru everyone wants to turbocharge, the BRZ.
A fresh rumor out of the Car and Driver offices makes the claim that a new, special-edition BRZ model will be offered up within the next few months. Word is that the new model will not get similar upgrades to the recent BRZ tS (seen above) for the Japanese market, meaning we're likely in for a cosmetic update instead of a functional one.
The looks of the tS could still be in the cards, however, meaning swapped-out lip spoiler, wheels and even STI badging might be on the way.
Subaru teases Impreza sedan concept for LA
Tue, Nov 10 2015When the doors open at the Los Angeles Auto Show later this month, Subaru will be on hand to preview its upcoming Impreza. But before it does, it's giving us an idea of what to expect. Although we can only see so much of it from the teaser image above, the Impreza Sedan Concept pictured here for the first time looks similar to the Impreza 5-Door Concept we saw in Tokyo mere days ago. It seems to bear the same headlights and the same sculpted flank as the hatchback show car. Only as you might have discerned by now, it has a trunk instead of a tailgate. And instead of that blueish-silver, this one's done up in metallic red. For more than that, we'll have to wait. And it's entirely possible that even when it does arrive, Subaru won't tell us much about the technical specifications. Many of these concepts don't actually have engines, after all, When the new Impreza does reach production, it will in all likelihood feature a boxer four engine and all-wheel drive. Subaru to Debut "Impreza Sedan Concept" at 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show Tokyo, November 10, 2015 – Fuji Heavy Industries Ltd. (FHI), the manufacturer of Subaru automobiles, today announced that the "Impreza Sedan Concept" will make its world debut at the 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show (Press day: November 17 – 19 / Open to the public: November 20 – 29, 2015). The Impreza Sedan Concept will be unveiled at the press briefing scheduled for 2:35 PM PST on November 18 at Subaru booth following a speech by FHI President & CEO, Yasuyuki Yoshinaga. The special site opens today on the Subaru Global Site. http://www.subaru-global.com/2015la.html The site will feature information updates relating to the Los Angeles Auto Show including Subaru's press conference. 2015 Subaru WRX leaks out ahead of debut [w/video]
Tue, 12 Nov 2013The car you see above could, possibly, be the 2015 Subaru WRX, a car that isn't supposed to reach the public eye until next week's Los Angeles Auto Show. The leaked image has been circulating around the web, along with a brief teaser video of the new sports sedan (which you can see below).
The image, which AutoWeek reports may be (probably) a render, appeared on the Clubrz Facebook page, a Subaru fan group. It does fit somewhat with the teaser image we showed you yesterday, while featuring certain styling cues from the WRX Concept shown at the last New York Auto Show.
Now, we'd advise you take this with an appropriately sized grain of salt. We won't know for certain what the next WRX looks like until we're parked in an uncomfortable chair at the LA Convention Center. Still, take a look up top and let us know if the new WRX - which, we'll point out, has neither gold wheels, a big wing or World Rally Blue paint - fits with what you wanted to see. We've also got a very short teaser of the car that plays on the teaser image posted yesterday, which you can see by scrolling down.
