This car is in good condition with approximately 135,000 miles. I have regularly maintained the vehicle. The vehicle is super clean on the inside. There are a few minor scratches on the exterior of the car. The car runs great and gets awesome gas mileage. On the highway I would average about 30-32 mpg and inside the city I would usually get around 28-29 mpg. Car has cruise control and power windows. The car also has a auxiliary input and iPod input for the radio. I have never used the iPod input, but I did use the aux input. I purchased the vehicle used from a dealer in Gulfport, MS when it had approximately 15,000 miles on it in 2007. I have never had any problems with the vehicle. The vehicle does not come with a warranty and is sold as is. The only reason I am selling the vehicle is because I have one child and another one on the way and need a bigger vehicle for my family. Toyota fills in details about its future design direction and global platform

Almost all of the details about the Toyota New Group Architecture (TNGA) strategy have come out since the initiative was first reported on in March of this year, but Autoblog did learn a few new things about it on a recent trip to Japan. Probably the second-most important detail is that each new segment platform will be based around a common hip point to create an "optimal driving position architecture."
Toyota GT86 engineer Tada recounts how sports car came to be
Wed, 13 Feb 2013Because the Toyota GT86, Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ coupes are now a reality, it's almost hard to imagine the struggle that had to happen within the large, conservative corporate structures at both automakers for the joint project to even get off of the ground.
Speaking to those struggles on Toyota UK's Toyota Blog, GT86 Chief Engineer Tetsuya Tada enlightens us with a recap of the sports car's earliest origins. For Tada, the first stages of the project must have seemed almost as dreamlike as the final product is to drive.
Said the Chief, "I had been working in the minivan department engineering new product, but a month after the meeting I was summoned. 'Forget about minivans,' they said, 'you are now working on the sports-car project.'"
New drifting world record set in Toyota GT86

Last year, BMW smashed the Guinness World Record for the longest drift by hanging the tail out for 51.3 miles around a wet skid pad in an M5 at the BMW Performance Driving School in South Carolina. That beat the previous milestone of nearly seven miles. Now, Bimmer's record is up in smoke as well and is in the possession of a Toyota.
German driver Harald Müller pummeled the old record to drift for 89.55 miles around a 0.15-mile (235.5-meter) course in Samsun, Turkey, in a Toyota GT86 (or Scion FR-S as it's known in the US). According to the Guinness World Records website, it took him 612 laps and 2 hours, 25 minutes and 18 seconds to manage the achievement.
