INFO: This Saturn Vue Redline is the top of the line model when it was rolled out in 2004, it came stock with the body kit, 18" alloy wheels and lower Sport Suspension. The absolute best part of this vehicle is the fact that the entire powertrain is made by HONDA. So not only is it Reliable, gets awesome fuel mileage too, especially with the constant increase in gas prices, and best of all is that it's inexpensive to maintain because it's under GM badge.
The Saturn Vue RedLINE is in MINT condition inside, outside was perfect till a week ago, looks like someone back into the rear bumper and put a 2.5" crack on the top corner, nothing serious tho mainly cosmetic, a few misc scratches here and there, normal wear and tear for 9 year old vehicle. NO accidents, services done , EVERYTHING is in WORKING order, nothing is missing/broken interior/exterior/underhood, no suprises. So as far as I know...THIS is the LOWEST mileage 04 Redline in the country. If your looking for a perfect Vue RL then this one is not for you, but if your looking for a well maintained and well cared for then this is the one you want.

****UPDATE - 9/25/13 - Had some locals who wanted to know if a PSI (pre-sell inspection) was done so it was brought into a GM Master Mechanic for a full check up and only thing that came back from the PSI was the passenger front caliper was starting to stick but was not necessary to replace but I went ahead and had it replaced with a new caliper, brake line and brake flush DONE $500 to ensure it will be trouble free for the next owner. So now it's ready to go, so let the offers begin !!****
SERVICE RECORDS! CLEAN CARFAX
So the way I see it is this i've put in the money to get it ready for the next owner so figure if you do a buy now of $7488 minus the $3800 I put in to the Vue your basically buying the Vue for a mere $3688 dollars. Yet another perspective would be if I sold it for $5000 and you have to put in say $2500+ somewhere down the road then you would be paying the same amound of $7500 so anyway you look at it, I've put in the time and money to ensure the next owner should go another 100K miles with no worries.
ANY QUESTIONS PLEASE DON'T HEISTATE TO ASK. Car is listed locally so I reserve the right to cancel the auction at anytime.

GM nixes fleet-only Chevy Captiva Sport
Thu, 06 Nov 2014Well, guys, it looks like Saturn is finally dead in the United States once and for all. According to Automotive News, Chevrolet has discontinued production of its fleet-only Captiva Sport - a rebadged Saturn Vue - after three years on the market. The very last US-spec Captiva Sport was built in Mexico in August. GM will still produce the vehicle for sale in the Mexican market, as well as for export.
GM initially offered the Captiva Sport for rental fleets as a way to free up capacity for the sightly larger Chevy Equinox and GMC Terrain crossovers, which, according to AN, had been in short supply. The Captiva Sport also did a nice job protecting the resale values of its other similar-sized CUVs because they didn't have to play in the fleet market. But with Chevrolet preparing to launch its subcompact Trax CUV in the US, the automaker will soon have a clear, three-tier crossover lineup without the Captiva Sport. The Trax fills out the bottom end, followed by the Equinox and the seven-passenger Traverse.
For now, renters seeking a taste of 'Classic GM' will have to whet their appetites with the fullsize Impala Limited.
Junkyard Gem: 1996 Saturn SC1
Tue, Apr 3 2018Before the Saturn marque got locked into a downward spiral of muddled brand image and billion-dollar Opel badge engineering, American car shoppers loved Saturns' plastic bodies and fixed-price buying experience. The original SC coupe looked a bit like the Isuzu-built Geo Storm but was a Michigan design and had a smaller price tag, and it sold well. Here's a final-model-year first-generation SC1, languishing in a Denver-area wrecking yard with nearly 300k on the clock. Saturn S-Series cars were simple machines, and many examples held together for the long haul. This one reached the kind of mileage figure you'd expect to see on a Camry or Civic from the same era. I'm not quite sure what's going on here, but I suspect that the car's final owner performed a bit of spray-foam-and-Bondo bodywork when the rear plastic body panels got munched in a crash. The twin-cam Saturn engines made respectable power, but this car has the 100-horse single-cam under the hood. The car weighed a mere 2,282 pounds, though, so it had about the same power-to-weight ratio as the slightly heavier Honda Del Sol, with a much lower price tag ($12,195 for the SC1 versus $15,250 for the Del Sol). With a manual transmission, which this car has, the SC1 was a lot more fun to drive than most frugal commuter cars of its era. It's no Saturn Ion Redline (an example of which I found nearby in the very same wrecking yard), but still an interesting chapter from the tale of the rise and fall of Saturn. When you want a two-door with some spunk, sleep on it first. Yeah, we're puzzled by this ad, too. Featured Gallery Junked 1996 Saturn SC1 View 14 Photos Auto News Saturn Automotive History Coupe
Report: Saturn owners offered $2,000 to stick with GM products
Mon, 15 Feb 2010After its decision to euthanize Oldsmobile, General Motors knows exactly what happens when it mothballs one of its brands: GM loses market share to the competition. The General is trying to stop history from repeating itself with Saturn customers by offering $2,000 on the hood of every car and crossover donning the ringed planet badge. Automotive News says the offer actually started on February 2 and runs until the end of March. To be eligible for the $2,000 bounty Saturn owners must have leased or purchased their Saturn at least six months ago. Interestingly, those owners don't even have to turn in their Saturn to be eligible for the cash.
AN reports that research company R.L. Polk says even before Saturn went on the endangered species list, it lagged other GM nameplates in the all-important aspect of customer retention. The mass exodus from Saturn loyalty predictably intensified at the end of 2008 as customers became anxious over the future of the brand. For its part, GM insists that all Saturn warranties will be upheld and customers looking for service can still go to a GMC, Chevy, Buick or Cadillac dealership.
