WOW LOOK WHAT I HAVE HERE....

THIS IS A 2008 SATURN SKY TURBO. THE MOTOR IS A 2.0L TURBOCHARGED ENGINE WITH A 5 SPEED MANUEL TRANSMISSION. THE CAR ONLY HAS 3400 MILES AND THE CAR DOES RUN AND DRIVE.

THIS IS A RARE 2 DOOR CONVERTABLE TURBOCHARGED CAR.  IT COMES EQUIPPED WITH LEATHER SEATS, CD PLAYER, POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS , POWER SIDE MIRRORS. 18INCH CHROME WHEELS WITH GOODYEAR EAGLE F1 TIRES THAT ARE IN GREAT CONDITION.CHROME HANDLE TRIM, .CONVERTABLE TOP (TOP IS IN GREAT CONDITION). AND I BELIEVE THERE IS AN AFTERMARKET BLOW OFF VALVE FOR THE TURBO.

THE VEHICLE DOES HAVE A NEW JERSEY SALVAGE FLOOD TITLE. THE INSURANCE COMPANY TOTALED THE CAR BECAUSE OF THE WATER DAMAGE. WE RECENTLEY HAD A STORM WHICH CAUSED THOUSANDS OF VEHICLES TO FLOOD.. SOME REALLY BAD AND SOME NOT SO BAD.. CONISDERING THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES I WOULD CONSIDER THIS NOT BAD.  I DID REPLACE THE ECM SO THE MILEAGE ON THE CAR SAYS IT HAS 1 MILE.  ALSO THE GARAGE IT WAS KEPT AT TOOK OUT THE HEATER FAN AND THE REAR BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH.  ALL OF THE LIGHTS WORK, BLINKERS, HEADLIGHTS TAILIGHTS, HAZARD LIGHTS ETC, BUT WHEN YOU PRESS ON THE BRAKE THE LIGHTS DO NOT WORK. ALSO THE POWER SIDE MIRRORS WERE NOT WORKING, AND THE SPEAKERS SEEMED TO NOT BE WORKING.. THE RADIO DOES WORK AND DISPLAY AND EVERYTHING BUT THERE IS NO SOUND COMMING OUT. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ALSO ON BUT I THINK THINK IT HAS TO DO WITH A COMPUTER CODE.  THE DASH DOES WORK AND ALL THE LIGHTS WORK AS WELL. FROM WHAT I SEE, THAT IS THE JUST OF THE WATER DAMAGE.  THE CAR HAS A CRACK IN THE RIGHTSIDE FENDER AS SEEN IN PIC, BUT THAT WAS FROM MOVING THE CAR AT THE SHOP.. SOMETHING MINOR.

ALL IN ALL THIS IS A GREAT CAR WITH VERRRRY LOW MILES THAT RUNS AND DRIVES ( AND IT IS FAST).  THERE IS SOME DEFECTS BECAUSE OF THE WATER DAMAGE BUT FOR THE PRICE YOU CANT BEAT IT.  THE MAIN THING IS THE CAR DOES RUN AND DRIVE AND SHIFT FINE.

THANK YOU AND PLEASE ASK QUESTIONS IF NEEDED, BEFORE BIDDING .. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE 15 OR MORE POSITIVE FEEDBACK I WILL BLOCK YOU UNLESS SPECIALLY ARRANGED.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: WE BUY & SALE VEHICLES,

Lutz dishes dirt on GM in latest Autoline Detroit

Bob Lutz sits down for Autoline Detroit - Click above to watch video after the jump
Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:
All Chevrolet vehicles were required to have five-spoke aluminum wheels and a chrome band up front, as part of the Bowtie brand's overall image.

Are orphan cars better deals?

Wed, Dec 30 2015

Most folks don't know a Saturn Aura from an Oldsmobile Aurora. Those of you who are immersed in the labyrinth of automobilia know that both cars were testaments to the mediocrity that was pre-bankruptcy General Motors, and that both brands are now long gone. But everybody else? Not so much. By the same token, there are some excellent cars and trucks that don't raise an eyebrow simply because they were sold under brands that are no longer being marketed. Orphan brands no longer get any marketing love, and because of that they can be alarmingly cheap. Case in point, take a look at how a 2010 Saturn Outlook compares with its siblings, the GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave. According to the Manheim Market Report, the Saturn will sell at a wholesale auto auction for around $3,500 less than the comparably equipped Buick or GMC. Part of the reason for this price gap is that most large independent dealerships, such as Carmax, make it a point to avoid buying cars with orphaned badges. Right now if you go to Carmax's site, you'll find that there are more models from Toyota's Scion sub-brand than Mercury, Saab, Pontiac, Hummer, and Saturn combined. This despite the fact that these brands collectively sold in the millions over the last ten years while Scion has rarely been able to realize a six-figure annual sales figure for most of its history. That is the brutal truth of today's car market. When the chips are down, used-car shoppers are nearly as conservative as their new-car-buying counterparts. Unfamiliarity breeds contempt. Contempt leads to fear. Fear leads to anger, and pretty soon you wind up with an older, beat-up Mazda MX-5 in your driveway instead of looking up a newer Pontiac Solstice or Saturn Sky. There are tons of other reasons why orphan cars have trouble selling in today's market. Worries about the cost of repair and the availability of parts hang over the industry's lost toys like a cloud of dust over Pigpen. Yet any common diagnostic repair database, such as Alldata, will have a complete framework for your car's repair and maintenance, and everyone from junkyards to auto parts stores to eBay and Amazon stock tens of thousands of parts. This makes some orphan cars mindblowingly awesome deals if you're willing to shop in the bargain bins of the used-car market. Consider a Suzuki Kizashi with a manual transmission. No, really.

Car thief lands Saturn on Fresno roof

Fri, 06 Jan 2012

Residents of a Fresno, California apartment building recently awoke to debris falling from their ceiling after a car thief managed to execute a perfect parking job on the structure's roof. Police say 26-year-old Benjamin Tucker stole the Saturn sedan from a nearby house before striking either a curb or some rocks, vaulting the vehicle into the air and onto the roof. After seeing his predicament, Tucker leapt from the roof and fled the scene. Or at least he tried to. Tucker broke his leg in the fall and only made it around a quarter of a mile from the crash when police picked him up.
No one else was harmed in the stunt.
Tucker had two outstanding warrants for his arrest at the time for a hit-and-run and evading police. A special crane had to be called in to remove the Saturn from the apartment roof and the structure will indeed require repairs. Hit the jump for a news report on the incident.
