This auction is for a 2001 Saturn SL2. I bought this car 2 weeks ago at a charity auction ''Kars 4 Kids.'' The car runs and drives good my assistant has been driving it every day for the past 2 weeks. She will be driving it until it sells so the milage will be a little more than stated at the time of listing. The glass is good no chips or cracks anywhere. The manual windows roll up and down as they should. The heat and A/C is in working order. The car has a aftermarket cd player that works to. The paint is bright red there is a little clear coat peeling here and there mainly just above the windows of the door tops. The front bumper has quite a scuff mark see photos and there is a patch glued over the left rear tail light. 2in chip missing from left front fender. Super nice and clean inside! see photos! All around pretty decent used car for being 13yrs old. Clean clear title. Low starting bid of just $1200.00 There is NO RESERVE! highest bid at the end will own the car! GM recalling another 1.3-million cars over power steering woes

General Motors has announced yet another major recall, covering 1.3 million units in the American market over concerns that the power steering could suddenly fail. As reported by The Detroit News' David Shepardson, GM has now recalled nearly ten times as many cars as it did all of last year.
It's important to note that should this problem arise in these cars, the steering won't fail completely, however, power steering could suddenly stop functioning. Manual steering would still be possible, but as GM says, there's an increased risk of accidents, particularly at lower speeds.
Like the ignition switch recall, this latest problem covers a wide range of vehicles from Chevrolet, Saturn and Pontiac. GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable
Fri, 21 Sep 2012General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.
